Hi peeps, well we got the beautiful day didn't we, and was it exciting oh yes as not only did I do the washing but my kettle stopped working so I had to go and buy a new one, oh the excitement is just toooo much lol,
still I did get a bargain a £50 pound kettle for £24.99,

I've made another easel style cut out card, can't seem to get these out my head at the moment lol,
anyway here it is,

I've used a few Magnolia images again, eight in all lol,
right hand side view with the Magnolia tree which was flippin hard to cut out , Tildas gorgeous dog and of course Scarecrow Tilda who isn't scary at all, but adorable, the straw was hard to cut out too lol,
the left hand side has another tree this is from the latest collection I think, I must check which collection and the name of the images, ( note to self) he he; mushrooms  and butterflies, all are coloured with my copics,
I've also used the Tag Doo hickey and added flowers from WOC, pearl stem from Hobby craft and Kars,
Here's a closer look of the background which I've used a Magnolia Doo Hickey fence die and stamped one of their flower stamps onto then again coloured with copics,
The other side, are you bored now? nearly there lol,

Sun tan Tilda

Hi guys,
just explaining why I'm awol at the moment lol,
the sun is finally shining it's little head off in our part of the world ans so I have been outside soaking a little rays,
seeing as it says it will go soon I didn't want to miss it,

anyway I've made a card, using copics in a different way to my usual way,
I've tried to get the copic distressed look, it's the first time I've tried it and I quite like it, may be because I also love to use distress inks too,
I also love this Magnolia image, isn't she soooo cute!
The distress look is for darker edges and quite pale centres, to the bits your colouring,

The gorgeous flowers are from hobbycraft and wild orcid crafts,
my hearts are made out of cardboard which I have distressed with crackle paint and I have done the same with the fancy corner too,

Challenges

For you mum,

Hi Guys,
Earlier this week I made this for my mum for mothers day, so thought I'd put it on here and show you lol,
I've seen a few of these book cards in blog land lately and thought I'd have a go,
make a brew I've a few pictures lol!
My mum loves pale colours and daffodils, well I had no stamp with just Daffs so I masked tilda with tulips on to a fence which had a few peeking out,
I've coloured these with copics and edges the are distressed with Antique Linen Distress ink,
The paper is from the Tim Holtz shabby pad and my edges are sewn,
I did the inside in the book style and on the left is a pocket for a removable tag on which I used the distress ink again and with the same colour did a border using the same colour with a Stempelglede grunge stamp,
I put a few words in the middle,
I did the same frame effect on the top and around the book,
Here's a close up of the book, I edged the top edges with a Martha Stewart border punch, then I distressed it with Vintage photo for a bit of  an aged look,
I hope you can see the frame effect on the card too,

Back to the front,

I used various flowers then took a butterfly button and a pearl button and took off the shanks, ( not easy) I can tell you, they ping all over the place lol, then I  mounted them with the flowers, Magnolia swirl die, and pearl strings
The top left corner has a quickcutz die and some more pearls finish off the card on the card and inside on the MS Butterlflies,
Challenges

It's really cold and raining now here,
where did spring go lol !!!!
See you soon,
Have a lovely day

Love you

Hi peeps,
If any one saw my post yesterday about losing my mojo, it's great to let you know it came back lol,
I wrote my post and went in my craft room, thought I'd get some ideas together and my son walked in, well I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!
any how after he'd left and we'd had a lovely chat and a good cup of tea my mojo was their in all it's wonder though you may not think so when you see my card he he!
I've made this card for my daughters Birthday, the trouble is she does occasionally look on here so if she see's it well I'll just have to do her another won't I lol,

I added some diamond sparkles glitter to her hearts but it's changed the colour slightly, they weren't that colour to start off with and the photo makes it more pronounced but I think it's still ok and isn't your heart that colourish anyway lol!!!! ( use your imagination here) lol,
the border die is a Martha Stewart punch that I got from the show, it's lovely to use and I just punched two layers of card sandwiched them together added my lace and hey presto!
the papers are of course Basic Grey and are from the sugared pad,

The bottom of my card is done using prima flowers, and roses and do you see a Tim Holtz film strip peeking through there?

I just love this gorgeous spotted ribbon which is here and at the top of my card too,

My image is coloured with Distress inks as is the background, the shape is of course a Spellbinders  nestabilty die,

Think I've gone a bit overboard on my piccies, are you agreeing with me here????

Simply Create ~ Give your heart away
Just Magnolia ~ Anything goes optional Ribbon

Yeah! not christmas lol,

Hi peeps,
Are you all ready for the big day?
we still have snow about ten inches deep where it's not been trudged through, it looks gorgeous but is causing havoc lol,
the card I've got to show you today is using one of the new Magnolia stamps that came last week, I was so excited as I didn't know they were due yet, they are gorgeous, and I just couldn't wait to stamp them up lol, I was in a distress ink colouring mood, (what no copics) lol, and really enjoyed the relaxing effect of blending the image and background lol,

The lights a bit full on on this picture which is taking the true colours away a little, that's what winter does when you've to use a day light ha ha,
the circle is again the gokreate large one and Ive made it into an easel style,
the balloons at the side are stamped using two colours of distress inks, cut out then diamond glaze added, then a wire stem added for the tail,
papers are Tim Holtz, shabby chic, I've loved this book of papers and must get some more,

The colours are a little better on this picture, although I have distressed behind her with two colours and I don't know if you can see that very well, more practise needed with my camera lol, the flower is made up of white papers covered with DI'S and scrunched up then silver glimmer mist is added too, the blue pearl brad has a silver edge too,
the flower is a Tim Holtz die and looks better in RL than it does on here lol,
the butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch and the circle is a Marianne die,
the leaves are silver honest and are a MS punch too,
A silver bow, white feather, machine stitching, star dust glitter glue and silver liquid pearl finishes it off,
Challenges:
Simon says stamp ~ Blue, silver and white,
Totally Tilda ~ Easel card
Hope your all having a lovely weekend, back tomorrow with my DCD, DT card,

Last minute Christmas lol,

Hi Peeps,
First of all I'm sorry I've not been visiting you much, I'm full of a cold and it's making me really tired, and last night just when I thought I'd get on to my computer Kay turned up so that was that lol,
I've made my card using the go kreate circle again, don't know if I said the right circle last time, duh blame it on my cold!
Anyway I decided I liked it that much I made another using a similar design, and I've also used up scraps of Christmas paper too so it's a good job it's one of my last ones he he,

I've used one of my favourite Tildas, and I think she could be used not only at Christmas and she works so well with the circle shape, and then of course Santa Edwin, I think it looks like she's sneaking up on him, to give him a present lol,
I've stitched all my papers and the image too, first time for stitching paper in a circle, used to do round cushions at work on cloth but not paper lol, then I also distressed the edges too, not on my cushions!!!
for the background I've used antique linen DI's, then a grunge stamp and then a script stamp, looks fab but you may just be able to see it on here, if you use a magnifying glass lol,
Edwin is sat on brown thick thread which is threaded through a slit near Tildas feet so I could lap it back and tie it at the side,
Both images are coloured with Copics,
Here's a closer look of the background, still need a magnifying glass?
the sentiment stamp is coloured with antique linen, fired brick, and bushed corduroy DI's, the edge is covered with Star dust stickles, and the leaf is a McGill pine leaf punch, red gems stash.

The flowers have star dust Stickles down the veins, I've made another bow to continue the design, spellbinders tag distressed with Antique linen Di's again with grunge stamp on the edges, and a stamped greeting,
Hopefully you can make out the Platinum dots of Stickles glue I've used all the way round the outer circles, these have also been distressed,
Put this on for those of you with no Magnifying glass, lol
Edwins fur is Star dust Stickles and he's been cut out and mounted using Pin Flair glue,
Challenges,
Magnolia down Under ~ Red, Brown and cream,
Allsorts ~ Last minute Christmas,
Lots to do ~ Glitz,
Hanna and friends ~ Christmas in red,
Phew! thanks for still being here, bet you need that cuppa now, one or two sugars? lol,
See you soon, have fun,

Yum Yum!

It's flippin freezing here! lol,

I know some of us brits have got snow, well we haven't yet but it was minus 6 last night at 9,0clock so who knows what it was in the night, and a  bit worrying our central heating made a loud bang when it came on this morning but at least it came on, more than it did last year lol,

Here's my DCD DT card, which this week is
Candy/Sweets

The images are coloured with Copics, cut out, then layered onto one of Susie's Die Cuts from here, the ticket is a Tim Holtz which I've just added loads of Glamour Dust too, going to have to buy more of this soon,

Oh Christmas Tree!

Well as you already know I've got Lumbago, so seeing as I can't do much except wait till it gets better I thought I'd do another Christmas card for my stash lol,
I was getting distinct withdrawal symptoms from lack of Tildas, as the person who ordered my commissioned cards didn't really do Tilda,

I've followed the sketch over at Magnolia Down Under and would have loved to sew my papers but there is no way I could lift my machine at the moment so they are just distressed instead,
I stamped the scene, cut it out, coloured it with my Copics, the snow effect is a mixture of Glamour Dust and on the trees, roofs, and mounds at the side of the path I've used Liquid Applique, the tree on the left has been stamped coloured then I've stamped some more branches one for each layer, coloured them , cut them out, shaped them added Liquid Applique then layered them onto the stamped tree with Pin Flair glue, these I've then attached to the edge of the circle when the glue dried,
Tilda is also coloured with Copics, given the Glamour dust treatment, cut out and layered on to the card again with Pinflair glue,

The finishing touches are,
Nestie scalloped circle die,
LOTV Sentiment stamp,
Quickcutz corner die,
Pearls, ribbon, heart pins from stash,
Papermania cardstock,
I'm entering this into Magnolia Down Under, there may be more challenges out there that this would go into but my backs had enough, so after I've up loaded this I'm  off to rest it,
Edited to add,
A spoon full of Sugar challenge ~ Anything goes,
Papertake weekly ~ Cut it out,
Everybody Art ~ Use shapes
Magnolia stamp lovers ~ punch it up

Hope your all ok,

Christmas is coming,

I want to scream very loudly!!!
On Sunday we called BT yet again and was told by an Indian man in India that he would send out an engineer today, well he came and because my fault is intermittent and it's working fine this morning he's gone away again with out doing anything!

Anyway deep breaths, onto my creation lol,
I'm entering this into
Magnolia Down Under ~ Make your own Embellishments,
Just Magnolia ~ Anything goes,
Sir Stampalot ~ Christmas Traditions,
I made this as a decoration for the table or some where and I know Tilda shouldn't really be looking and Santas not exactly in red,  but hey it is for Christmas and you should be able to get away with any thing then lol, only guess who didn't tell the kids that he he,
The window is made from one of  the winter scenes and the lamp post stamps, coloured and put behind acetate after being cut out of the main paper (Wallpaper) using a nestie to make a window effect then I've used A Doo Hickey die for a pelmet,
The bed is made from an old perscription box, covered in Magnolia paper the using a Martha Stewart Lattice punch I created two Headboards, then using a different paper and using some lace made a throw over for the bed and a pillow,
Behind Santa is a doily with a stool on to create a rug effect, the flowers are created with Marianne Dies using Magnolia paper too,
The images are coloured with Copics and I've added tags on the back of them so they stand up right,

For the window sill I've stamped the fir branch cut it out, raised it on 3d stickers added the hearts again on 3D foam to create a garland, well in theory anyway lol,
Finally it's tweaked her and there with some glitter, a pearl brad and L-EM puched leaves,
The tag can be removed as an extra too,

Phew I hope you like it because it took me ages, and I certainly made my own embellishments lol,
I've to monitor my computer yet again now for today and the lovely man from India will call again to see what's happening, I think my throat will be very sore lol,

With Love

Hi peeps,
Wow it's lovely to have the internet again, I know how sad am I lol,it's one of those things were we can't live with it and we can't live with out it lol,
It's been pouring down here this afternoon so after giving Tilly a good bath I  decided to craft and made one using Autumn colours and I'm entering the following challenges,
Copic Creations ~ Brown and making a scene, hope this counts,
Bunny Zoes Crafts ~ Autumn Love,
Just Magnolia ~ Dawny P's  lovely  sketch,
I've masked the bride and groom so they are standing in front of the arch and used Autumn colours for the flowers it looks so different then when you use pinks etc,
I've coloured the whole of my images using copics and for the wood I was using my E31 when it started running out so some parts are not as blended as I'd like, hopefully you can see the brides dress has some copics on it too as it's hard to get the light right to show it,
The swirl is again the Doo Hickey, love this swirl, the roses are from stash as are the glass ones, pearl string is from Hobby craft, Gold stickles highlight the flowers too,
I've stitched my papers and the sentiment,
I finished the card off with some stamped swirl flowers but don't know if I like it or not, oh well too late now lol,
Hope your all having fun,
