What a Fantastic New Year

Hi peeps,
Well I'm so loving 2011 already, so many lovely things are happening this year, will tell you more about that much later on he he,
This calendar was going to be a tent card, then I found out Magnolia down under wanted a calendar and I thought oh that's a good idea so I changed it into that instead lol,
I was in a masking mood so I've masked Tilda onto the swing and  Tilda onto the fence,
Tilda on the swing swings too, when she's not up on the wall lol,

Cutting out Tilda on the swing was fun! and adding tiny rings and not breaking the card was too, but it worked he he,
the branch I stamped and coloured twice then stamped again for some of the flowers to be 3D, the branch is layered on foam pads and the flowers are with Pin Flair Gel,

Here's a close up of the branch,
All images are coloured in Distress Inks, including the background,

The grass is a small wooden stamp I've had for ages which I just stamped direct from the ink pad to give deeper colour,

The calendar I bought ages ago from the Range and forgot I'd bought, oh Err, wouldn't have waited till next year would it lol,

The tag is a Magnolia Doo Hickey, distress with DI's , the Discover stamp is from a travel clear stamp set I've had for years, yes another forgotten stamp lol,
flowers are from WOC, and the craft range, these I have added Glamour Dust to,
Papers are Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby, Still with me phew!

We are being sponsored by the lovely Robin's Fetish and they have given us girls some images to play with,

I've coloured my images in Distress Inks again, I do think this is my favourite colouring medium now, as I love the changes of colour you can get lol,
I have of course combined my Digi image with a Magnolia Tilda, from the Christmas collection but seeing as she has hearts in her basket I think it's an all year round one!
Do go and check out my lovely teamies designs too, they are gorgeous!

For my sis

Hi peeps,
You know how I'm loving my distress inks at the moment, well here's another one done with them lol,
It's my sisters Birthday next week and she loves oriental as do I funnily enough, so what better image than this gorgeous Magnolia,

When I saw this gorgeous paper from the Basic Grey Curio pad it just said oriental to me, maybe I'm strange, no Mandy don't answer that lol,
I've followed the sketch over at Magnolia Down under so of course I'll put it in their challenge lol,
Just Magnolia ~ anything goes optional buttons,
I've coloured the flower with the same colour ways to hopefully coordinate with  the look of the papers or as near as I could any way, the raffia I wove twice round the card and attached the coins using pin flair gel, and the fans are fixed that way too, the borders are of course a Doo Hickey die which I've added a little lace for character and to lighten the effect,

Colours used:
Antique linen, tattered rose, vintage photo,
Walnut stain, pumice stone,
Aged Mahogany, brushed corduroy,
Black soot,
I've again painted my background I'm loving this look and it's such fun to do he he,
Hope your all having a lovely day with lots of fun!
see you soon,
Ps Back tomorrow with some Candy for my up coming Birthday!

I've changed my colouring style a little from here but thought I'd show you any way,

The shape is a Go Kreate die I'm loving these too lol,
tag is of course a Magnolia Doo Hickey die again with Distress inks on, a Doo Hickey swirl, glitter and roses finish it off, thanks for looking, hugs Liz xx

Hi peeps,
Well as promised here is the card I made for Simon, who as you will probably guess is a fishing fan lol, you should see the trophies in his bedroom, lovely but the dusting!!!!!,
I've used one of Di's gorgeous digi images here and I've printed it off on water colour paper with my Kodak printer which is fab as the ink didn't run at all, it works for copics too,
Had a change with the colours on  this one, been doing a lot of pinks lately, didn't think he'd appreciate that though !

papers~ BG Marjolaine pad,
fancy shape ~ older nestie, think they've re vamped this lately but this was from before they were famous, he he,
Fiskers border punch,

New Beginings

Hi peeps,
made this card because at the moment I just love colouring with Distress inks, can't seem to get enough lol, so as well as doing some for my DT's I thought I'd do this as well,

in addition they have all been sprayed with Ranger perfect pearls glimmer mist which I won from Simon Says Stamp, looks fab in RL,as it adds a soft  sheen,

DCD DT Card

Hi peeps,
Well Monday already, yeah one more day of the men at home then no, can you do this! can you do that! lol,
I made this card when to be honest my mojo wasn't at it's best, and I hadn't got quite back into the swing of things he he,
so for the challenge today and remember were now fortnightly it's to use a quote or definition on your card,
Do check out my teamies creations they are gorgeous!

The circles are all made using GO Kreate dies, yes I finally got the scalloped one yeah! the quote is from a book of quotes by Hot off the Press which  I've had for years, which I've distresssed with Inks, added a little grunge with a stamp, then used stickers for the wellies, pots, tags and spade, the colours are stronger in RL, but I just couldn't get them to show he he,
Challenge ~ Frosted Designs

Have you noticed our gorgeous new signatures which our lovely boss Susie has had made for us, thanks hun,
Looking forward to seeing what your quotes are, see you soon,
