More Christmas cards for the Men

Hi guys, as you may know i have quite a few fella's in our family, some are quite grown up and so it becomes harder to think of a card for them year after year, lol

So here are two I've come up with,

I created a bauble card for the first one, then used some of the fabulous paper and images by AB Studio, I fussy cut out the Deer and raised it up with some spare chipboard,
I added a BlooMar chipboard snowflake on the top, I used some Wow Embossing powder on this first,

To finish off the card I splattered some watered down white gesso over the front,

Card number two is a DL styled card,

I wanted this to look classical in design, so I used black and silver colours,
I used some leaves cut out of  lady E design Poinsettia and winter leaves dies out ofwhite paper then coloured them with two colours of silver, then using a leaf die from the Leaves 6 Herbs die I cut some out of non shed glitter card,

I used two of the fabulous bauble chipboards from BlooMar, these I used some Silver embossing powder on the top then heat set them,

On the larger bauble I added some of the glitter card, I finished it off with silver coloured sequins and clear Gems plus some cones from my stash,

Well I'm getting near the end of my Christmas cards, still a couple or so to show you, including a tutorial of how I make a Bauble shaped card,

Christmas Time

Yes I'm here again with another card for Christmas using one of the fabulous windows by BlooMar Chipboard, this time I used the layers together,

I used some Wow embossing powder Gold on the star and baubles,

I used papers from AB Studios, Breeze of the Forest, then I  added some snowflake paste with a stencil to give a snow effect, when dry I cut some spare chipboard down to create some brick shapes and coloured them with some distress ink,

I fussy cut one of the gorgeous Christmas Tree images and hot glued it to the card, then I glued the window over the top,

Using some leaves again from my favourite lady E design Poinsettia and winter leaves dies I created some leaves using paper, some of them arecoloured with some inks, on top of these I added some more fussy cut flowers from the papers,
Taking one of the words set by BlooMar Chipboards I added some Aged Ivory Frantage over the top and heat set it, then I hot glued it in place, simply gluing some tiny beads around the display to finish it off,

I put a little white Gesso onto a small piece of foam and dabbed it around the card here and there on the bricks and window frame,

Oh Christmas Tree!!

I've created an exploding box for my mums Christmas card, as usual it's a little hard to photograph but here goes,

the box is 10cm by 10cm but I decided to add a roof section on the top, I created the roof section then went over with some paper from AB Studios from the Breeze of the Forest and the Secret Wood collections, I will give details of the rest below,

I used one of the fabulous windows from BlooMar Chipboards, I used some embossing powder on both sides of the star and baubles, the window is in two pieces so I used the outer one on the outside obviously- duh!!! but I then cut out the card and paper from underneath, this gives the window effect, I fussy cut some of the images from the papers as embellishments,

On the inside I added the window frame, then again added some fussy cut flowers on the top,

On this side I added a die cut doily, then again added some of the fabulous fussy cut images,

I created a fire place with some water colour paper, then taking some different AB Studios paper I created the fire from a fire effect die, I added some tiny beads too and another gorgeous image from the papers,

The back section has a die cut circle then I added some natural Sisal in the centre with some fantastic BlooMar Chipboard over the top, I used some Lady E Design leaves from the Poinsettia and winter leaves dies, these I cut out of some Gold effect paper and I simply added some more of the beads for the berries,

The cente main focal point has a 3D tree again by BlooMar chipboard, this I added some Frantage over the main tree section, I also used the adorable presents which I made up then added some wax over, I finished it off with a handmade Foamiran flower using the Poinsettia and winter leaves die and white Foamiran,

So back to top section, I also added one of my handmade foamiran flowers and paper leaves, over the top of a BlooMar chipboard snowflake which I had added some Frantage over the top,

I added some glitter here and there, then when dry I used some sequins and some frantage pieces to finish it off too,

Gift envelopes for the men in your life

Hi guys, as you know i always have a few mens Christmas gift cards to make, it's easier to give them money for Christmas but I do like to give it them in some sort of gift envelope, this year I've used some of the wonderful papers by AB Studio from The Breeze of The Forest Collection,

I used their papers and fussy cut out the images,

So for the first one I created the gift card then using some of the fabulous papers I added some stenciling onto the base paper with some Snowflake paste, when dry I tore some papers to create a couple of layers for added interest,

I used a frame by Bloomar Chipboards keeping it in it's natural colour and added one of the circle images over the top,

I then added this adorable fussy cut Deer image finishing off with some 3D snow effect on the Antlers and card here and there,
The inside is for now left plain, but I will probably add some more paper on the left hand side for the verse etc,

The second card is created the same way for the gift envelope, with the same added layers but I didn't add any stenciling this time,

This gorgeous fussy cut bear is again layered onto one of the circles you can cut out, again I added some snow effect, however it is playing up and looks off white, duh!!

I made some paper leaves using lady E Design Poinsettia and Winter Leaves dies for underneath the focal point, adding some cones and berries from my stash,

Last but not least is this card,

This time I used the tag cut outs and the leaves too,

Isn't this stag stunning!!

I used a hint of Moss here and there too and went around the card with some white gesso here and there,

Now just to save up for the gift envelopes, lol

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas

I bought this fabulous Lantern from a craft show recently where 14 Craft bar has a stall and couldn't resist decorating it up with lots of sparkle, snow effect and hints of glitter,

After I put it together I painted the outer sides with some white Gesso, then when dry I also added some Crackle paste here and there,

I made some Poinsettia's out of watercolour paper then coloured the centres with some ink, then added some stamens which again came from 14 Craftbar, I cut some leaves from the Poinsettia and Winter Leaves dies too in silver card stock, glitter card stock and white,

I had some logs in my stash so I adhered one onto the base on the front, then added another paper Poinsettia on the top, along with some more of the Winter Leaves dies,

I added some bead effect embellishments as well as some white glittery ball stamens here and there,

Then I went over the lantern adding some snow effect paste thickly here and there to give a fallen snow effect,

Peace

As we know Christmas is coming up soon, so I've created another card, this time using some of the latest Leaves by Lady E Design, these leaves are fabulous for Autumn but as you can see can also be used for other occasions too,

I started off with some gorgeous paper from A.B Studio from The Breeze Of The Forest collection, this has a Gold images on it and so I based my colours on that,

I die cut out some of the Leaves from the leaves 7 Autumn dies in white card stock then added some Gold embossing powder over the top,
I made my other leaves from the Poinsettia and Winter leaves dies, using white  paper, colouring here and there with some Gold coloured ink, and one from some Gold coloured paper, some tiny beads and some berries were added too,

I used this adorable BlooMar frame 09 from the Christmas Collection, which I also added some of the Gold embossing powder too, then I created a tiny scene with some wooden houses, then I used some Frantage Aged Ivory embossing powder onto the word Peace from the Words set 06 from the Christmas Collection again by BlooMar Design, then added a metal star by Finnabair to finish it off,

Happy Crafting!!

I added some Frantage embossing powder to the chippie, which looks fabulous in real life, they take mixed media etc so well,
I layered the chippie on top of some natural Sisal then leaves cut with Lady E Design dies from the Poinsettia and Winter Leaves dies set,

Then added some liquid applique here and there for a snow effect and some tiny beads from my stash,

A Card For A Friend

I recently made this card for a lovely friend of mine, who is so generous and lovely so I sent her a gift and made her a card, she has received it now so I can show it on here,

I used a book look style die from my stash as the base then layered up some gorgeous papers from Lemoncraft, from the Yesterday collection, these I lightly distressed on the edges,

I lightly wet the top corner of the main paper and then curled it under to look like a bent over page, on the top of this I added some of my handmade flowers using Lady E Design dies Flower 001and Flower 004 with 0.6 pink and white Foamiran, the butterfly is by Lemoncraft too,

On the other side I created some more flowers using the same dies but also using the tiny leaves and the swirls dies as well, I then used one of the clocks by Lemoncraft, I finished off the card with a few paint splatters, beads and some iridescent sequins,

Happy Crafting!!
