Time for tea

Hi guys, first off thanks so much for your lovely visits and a big hello to my new followers too, so happy to see you,
I came on my computer to upload a tea pot I have made using a fab stencil from Dutch Doobadoo 470.713.500 and my internet wasn't connecting so after a lot of faffing I'm finally here so hope this posts ok lol,
This stencil is brilliant as it fit's onto an A4 piece of card and has a little section in the middle you could add a few fancy T bags too as an added present,

The gorgeous sentiment is also from DD and is from the Kraft label art 474.007.001 on the corner I added a little frantage and added a DD paper art butterfly 472.948.007,
I placed some flowers from my stash on top of some of the DD honeycomb soft board 478.007.001 and added some DD paper art leaves 472.948.002 to finish it off,
For the back I used another of the gorgeous butterflies and another kraft label  to tie it all in,
I edged the tea pot with distress inks,
Closer view of front sentiment, love this one!!
do check out the fab DD products, they are great!!
Happy Crafting!!

The Longing

Hi guys, phew it's been a busy Marsden house this last few days so I'm sorry I've not had time to visit yet again, we've all had a touch of a cold again and Kay and Tegan had it pretty bad so I've looked after both of them and not had much time for crafting!!!!
Having said that I managed to make this card using this gorgeous stamp from crafts and Me by
I've coloured her using my distress re-inkers and loved trying to get depth to the folds on her dress, I also used one of those gorgeous diamante pins, these are beautiful in real life and I added a few pearl dots using a pearl pen from Crafts and Me too,
The background is made using the gorgeous Dutch Doobadoo rose stencil 470.715.023 too which I have dabbed the same distress ink colours through,
the birdcage is by Joy crafts and I have also used a clock from one of the Maja design paper sheets,
flowers are from my stash,

Hoping to visit you all soon and thanks so much for your visit,
happy crafting!!!

MDF ALBUM

Hi guys, popping by with an MDF album I've created using some of the Dutch Doobadoo products and Tegan's photo's too,
I covered the MDT panels with the medium coloured  denim fabric for a little texture on the background and to tie in with Tegan's clothing,
The left hand side panel has Tegan with a pig tail in her hair! these stop in for about 30 seconds so I just had to take a picture of her lol, she also loves to do this thinking look too,
the DD products used are paper art gears, Cardboard hearts and  paper art swirls, the metal heart is from live and love crafts and I added a little crackle paint here and there too,
Middle section has DD paper heart hearts, Gears and Kraft label art, thought this text went fab with this picture lol,
Right hand side section has paper art gears, cardboard heart, paper art swirl and paper art buttons, to finish this section off I again added a hint of crackle paint, twine, flowers and a bull dog clip, This is such a cheeky grin who can resist it!!
I tied them all together with ribbon from my stash,
MDF Panels - 460.440.010
Paper art gears - 479.002.001
Denim -/Jeans - 400.903.008
Kraft Label art - 474.007.003
Cardboard hearts - 472.309.004
Paper art hearts - 472.948.001
paper art buttons - 472.948.010
Paper art swirls - 472.948.006

Some of these awesome DD products can be bought at Polka doodles here in the UK,

I'm going to give this to my daughter, Tegan's mum, hope she likes it!!!!
I will look for any challenges later,

Bottle Tag Tutorial

Hi guys, popping on today with a bottle tag I've made using a fabulous mask from Dutch Doobadoo and a rose stencil for the Background too, the image is a gorgeous stamp from Crafts and Me by Zindy S D Neilsen called A Broken Promise
Isn't she gorgeous!!! I've coloured her with my copics and used a lovely detailed Key Charm from
crafts and me too, these will be great for New Home cards and 21st cards too,

Tutorial:
You will need
Zindy SD Neilsen - A Broken Promise
Dutch Doobadoo -Bottle Tag Mask - 470.713.005
DD - Rose stencil - 470.715.023
DD - Kraft Label art - 474.007.001
DD - Paper art Hearts - 472.948.001
Paper art swirls - 472.948.006
paper Buttons - 472.948.010

Distress inks
Cardstock for mediums
Embellishments ( optional)
Ink Daubers and pads
Spellbinders circle die
Copics:
Skin -  E000, 00, 11, 21, 13, 04, R11, 30, BV00,
Hair - E21, 25, 27
Blues - B0000, 000, 91, 93, 95
Background - W0, 1, 3,

Draw around the bottle tag mask and cut out for the  base layer, I then made a smaller layer for the main background,
I taped the rose stencil over my tag and using Tumbled glass distress ink dabbed over the mask lightly on the roses only, next I added a little Broken China just on the edges of the petals or as close to the edges as I could lol, I finished off the centre of the flowers with Faded Jeans,
The leaves I added Pumice stone and for certain leaves made them a little darker to give a little depth and variety,  I did this to the top section too, then used a spellbinders circle die to make the hole for the bottle, you could of course use the stencil mark and cut with a knife,
If using a die place your removable tape in the centre part to hold your die cut as this will then not take away any of your inking on the remaining section,
I finished my tag off using a hint of  white Frantage, pearl string and lots of Dutch Doobadoo products, some of these are available in the UK at Cuddly Buddly

Happy Crafting!!
