Hint of Autumn

I love the colours of the leaves at this time of year, though with the recent wind and rain there's not many left on the trees, lol

Any way I created this scene using the fabulous Wonky Stuff MDF kit by @polkadoodles,

The kit comes with two frames one wavy and one straight, using the wavy one for this project I kept it in it's natural colour, I then cut a piece of water colour card to fit behind, this I added some stencilling with a fossilised amber oxide distress ink pad,  

The kit comes with wonky houses too, which I will show another time, I do love the Toadstools in the kit though, lol

The numbers also come with the kit and can be used as I have or on the wonky houses, or on something else entirely, he he

Tag/Bookmark

Whos loves a Bookmark or tag for that matter? well I do for one,

I couldn't resist using this fabulous image from @zeyplanfiy on Etsy for the image on my bookmark,

after fussy cutting her out I added her to my tag/bookmark which I had sprayed with Lindy's magical My Mojito Green from the Drink Me Silly set, I then added some stencilling from my stash along with some stamping,

Aw, so cute, I couldn't resist adding Woof lol,

Classic Christmas

Hi all, I thought I'd show you my latest Christamas card for @polkadoodles using some of the latest stamps, dies and stencil,

 I double stamped the image, then coloured one of the images on the main Poinsettia flower and leaves, I then used the matching dies you can buy to cut out the flower and leaves, I added some colour to the first image on the base of my card too, where the die cut didn't cover,

I also used the Postbox stamp plus Holly stamp and dies with some extra stamped images around the main image, after building up the layers using a stencil from the latest collection too,

Too Cute To Spook

 I'm still getting used to blogger, so different from years ago, lol

Anyway I thought I'd show you a Halloween themed album I've created using the fabulous images from

Zeyplanfiy on Etsy,

I've created pages for a 4" by 6" photo to be slid in the pockets, with hints of the photos to show,

I used stamping and stencilling, with some heat embossed stamping too,

The ghost images I printed onto washi then fussy cut around,

Have you seen the fabulous new MDF release, wonky houses and a frame for this project, you can add roofs, doors and there's also numbers to use if you wish too,

I created this as an Autumn scene using the new die cut tree with the leaves, so cute!!

 Hi There,

This cute MDF plaque/ sign can be decorated in so many ways, but for this project I used some Lindy's Magicals, to keep a light look to it and to show the design already on it,

I used the stamps from the Sending Love stamp set, as well as the matching die set,

I love this little cutie mouse, so couldn't resist him peeking out between some plants, leaving some stamped directly on the base and some die cut to give different depths,

after cutting out the taller flowers and using 3D foam to again add depth I highlighted the flower heads with some stencil butter, I then added some tiny bits on the base to look like blossom off the flowers

spreading in the breeze,

The butterfly was coloured with copics and again die cut out, I then scored along the body so the wings lifted up, I finished it off with a sentiment from the Just A little Note stamp set,

I love the look of film strips, I don't know why lol,
So I couldn't resist using this film strip from the vintage ephemera stamp set by Polkadoodles,
I cut it out with my scanncut but you can of course cut it free hand,
I wanted a light look to the base of my card so I used some Lindy's Magicals using the smosshing method, when dry I added some texture with a little heat embossed stamping here and there,
I added some dots/splat design with one of the stamps from the Little Note stamp set,
I fussy cut the flowers by hand, after colouring with my copic markers, then finished it off with a stamped heart and leaves on the filmstrip, then added a sentiment from the strip sentiment stamp set,
I love the soft look this card gives,

How about this,

 I love the look of waxes used to create highlights on MDF and Chipboard pieces, do you?

So for this MDF Album covers, I used some black gesso to add a base layer, covered with acrylic paints, after adhering the chipboards, I dabbed more of the acrylic colours here and there with a stencil brush, this creates added texture too,

then I highlighted along the edges here and there with some Gold coloured wax,

The leaf at the bottom of the album cover was created using two die cut leaves out of 300gsm cardstock, adhered together, then placed on the base before colouring,

The Chipboard Dragonfly is two seperate pieces of the same design I adhered together along the body so the wings could be slightly lifted,

The flower in the centre chipboard frame has a die cut flower which I cut out of a thin tin can, this I adhered down in place, glued a Polkadot in the centre, then coloured over the top and highlighted with wax,

A card made for a friend who's Birthday is this week, I used the gorgeous Mixed flower bloom and grow Peony stamp set, with white heat embossed powder, coloured with my Zig Markers, the background is used with them too,

I love flowers stamps as you can use them in so many ways,

I love the sentiment stamps and matching strips, these cut so cleanly but I simply distressed the edges on mine, to add a little texture, great for added interest without bulk,

Spring is in the air with lovely weather to prove it, lol
So because Easter is also on it's way I created this adorable Dreamy Hares shelf sitter from Nikky Hall - Polkadoodles as an Easter decoration, it would look gorgeous for a new born baby or just spring etc too,
Using Acrylic paints and some sponges to colour the MDF pieces gives some texture and hints of different looks and colours, a little white pan paster highlights the bunnies,
The eggs are from a die set and I used some of the papers from the Daisy Daisy paper pad, the little chicks are also from my stash,
