A Christening card

Hi guys, recently I made a Christening card for a baby boy using two gorgeous stamps from Magnolia,

The image is coloured with my distress re-inkers as is the background, layered onto circle and scalloped circle nesties the layered onto a gorgeous Joy crafts doily type die, I embossed this through my E bosser using my embossing mat,

the papers are Maja design from live and love crafts and the blue  flowers were from Teresa at my crafty heart these I have just added a little gesso too, other flowers are WOC and stash, 

Inside I added this stamp again coloured with my distress re-inkers and i die cut his name to make it more personal and machine stitched the edges of the papers,

For the rest of the inside I used the same circle nesties and Joy crafts die to tie these in, the text I computer generated,

They loved it and are going to frame it they said!!! I'm just so glad they liked it as I don't know about you but I never feel my cards are good enough!!!!

A little creation

Hi guys just popping on with a tag I've created using some of the fabulous Dutch Doobadoo products,

The background design is a stencil called metal 470.715.018, I ran the stencil  through my E bosser using my embossing mat then I used distress inks to add colour, the fabulous Denim 400.903.009 material I die cut and then added a script stamp using embossing powder on top,

to finish it off i add some of the new card board arrows 472.309..002 and the paper art buttons too 472.948.010

I'm still having trouble with my comments crashing so have not been able to leave you any!! sorry, I've written to Blogger and to Google and apart from both blaming each other nothing has been done,

I have just wrote to them again so here's hoping they do something!!!

I thee wed

Hi guys, popping on with a card I've made using a gorgeous digi from Wee stamps called
Love me do

I have again decoupaged the images as I'm in the mood for doing so again at the moment lol,

I've coloured the couple with my copics then built up the layers, shaping each piece slightly then gluing together with pin flair glue.

the papers are by Pion from live and love crafts called Bird song and ornament and on the plain one I used a brilliant new Diamond stencil from Dutch Doobadoo, 470.715.018 which I put through my E Bosser with the embossing mat,

the hearts are by memory box and I added ivory frantage to them and a pearl at the top,

The flowers are a mixture of WOC and stash and again I used a little of the beautiful pearl string from Live and Love crafts, the  flourish behind is a Cheery Lynn die,

the clock was cut out from a Maja design sheet of paper again from Live and Love Crafts,

my camera has picked up hints of white on some of the hair, which in RL you can't see, typical!!!!

Happy Birthday sis

Hi guys, I'm popping on today with a Birthday card I made for my fabby sister, yes that would be you Ann lol,

Hopefully she has already seen it this morning!!!

I coloured this adorable Saturated Canary Thank you stamp with my distress re-inkers and layered her onto a spellbinders floral ovals die,

papers are from Live and love crafts and are from Maja Sofero collection Royal summer recidence,

The gorgeous heart and some of the flowers were from LLC too,

Nothing smells as sweet

Hi guys, I'm popping on a card today with a card I've made using two  Magnolia stamps from the latest collection, I masked the images first then coloured them with my distress re-inkers,

The gorgeous papers are from Live and love crafts and are by Maja design from the vintage Autumn basics range, the clock is from one of the papers too, so love these,

I just couldn't resist using the fabulous honeycomb soft board from Dutch Doobadoo again, I so love this, on the top I used a couple of pins from wild orchid crafts and some flowers from my stash, the leaves are Dutch Dobadoo paper art links below, I again used some of the beautiful pearl string from Live and love crafts and added some impression Obsession butterflies which my lovely Friend Teresa had in her shop here, remember Teresa is closing down so check out her sale,

Live and love crafts are having a perfume challenge at the moment so I used a Tim Holtz vial bottle, added some of the paper used on the card but used the reverse side, distressed the edges with vintage photo ink and added two Dutch Doobadoo feathers as a top for the bottle, a little twine with some glass effect beads on finished it off,

Dutch Doobadoo blog hop

Hi guys, the DT at Dutch Dobadoo are having a blog hop to show case the fabulous envelop small set 470.713.002

Available in the UK here 

You get two envelope templates in the set and they are fab for  gift vouchers etc or for  using on your cards too, here's my inspiration,

the left one is the smaller of the two and I couldn't resist making this as a gift card holder for a newly married couple, the  smaller envelope  template fits onto a 6 x 6 piece of card but I had some  gorgeous 12 x 12 Magnolia paper in my stash so  I used that, the Joy crafts buckles I added frantage too and heat set then threaded a little ribbon I had in my stash too, the Joy craft alphabet die I cut out and used Vintage photo distress ink on to tie in with the edge of the envelope which I distressed using the same  ink, to finish off the front I added some flowers and the fabulous Dutch Doobadoo paper art leaves,

The larger envelope on the right I made to be a New Home gift card holder and I couldn't resist using the gorgeous Saturated Canary sweet shack image again,  coloured with my copics, for the side detail I used the gorgeous Dutch Dobadoo Keys - 472.943.009 and again I used frantage on these, the honey comb soft board -  470.007.001 I left in it's natural colour, a couple of  flowers and a charm finish off the front,

The backs of the envelope I just added a charm on the wedding one and a Dutch Doobadoo lock that goes with the key set - 472.943.007

Walking on Sunshine

Hi guys, 

I was so excited to be  chosen for GDT spot this month at Bunny Zoe's challenge blog whoop whoop!!

the theme this month is stitching, something I love to do on my cards and I know a lot of you guys and girls do too,

I used this gorgeous Tiddly Inks stamp called Fairy Sunny Day and wow she's lovely to use and colour,

I coloured her with my distress re-inkers and added a hint of Stardust stickles on the flowers and wand tip,

The fabulous stamp also came with two sentiments which I have used on a Doo Hickey Bloomy tag die,

The papers are by Maja Design from the Sofero collection and all have been edged with vintage photo distress ink, I also used a Tim Holtz Alterations Distressed Doily die on the left hand side too, the butterflies are an Impression Obsession die set which I just love!!

the clocks were cut out of a sheet of another Maja design paper from the Vintage Autumn collection and I just distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz distress tool,

The main shape is made using a Go Kreate die,

NEW HOME!!

Hi guys,

I couldn't resist using this gorgeous Saturated Canary digi image called sweet shack, coloured with my copics and some of the parts I've decoupaged too,

I've also used some of the fabby Dutch Doobadoo products, including the paper art keys and soft board honeycomb plus the mask art burlap stencil using some of my home made 3D paste,

the paper art keys 472.948.009 I covered with frantage and heat set,

The honeycomb soft board  470.715.001 I cut to shape and left in it's natural colour,

the flowers are from my stash and I threaded a gorgeous pearl string through them from live and love crafts,

the  bark heart came from there too,

the gorgeous papers are again from live and love crafts and are by Maja design from the vintage autumn basics range,

Closing down sale

Hi guys, it is with great sadness that I have to tell you that  my lovely friend Teresa from my crafty heart is  sadly closing down her shop details here,

I wish to thank Teresa for asking  me to be a part of her fabulous DT, I've so enjoyed using the gorgeous products and for  her lovely friendship too,

Stempelglede design team call

Hi guys, hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and new Year, it was such fun here, Tegan opened her pressies with such care taking ages!!!! lol

I've seen that   Stempelglede are doing a DT call and even though I don't  really stand a chance ( but a girl can dream) I just so wanted to try lol, while thinking of the DT call It reminded me off the  grunge collection I have from Stempelglede and so have used this collection on the frame,

I  altered this picture frame which my son gave to me with a picture of him and his girlfriend in, the frame was gold coloured metal and didn't really go where we wanted the frame to be so I set to work on it,

sorry the picture was a little difficult to get the light right, doesn't help as hubby bought me a new camera which I have to get used too as well,

anyway I painted the base with Gesso then after the first coat had dried added another, when this was dry I used a gorgeous stamp from the Stempelglede Grunge collection, I so love these stamps but this is the only set I have but so would love some more, so if any one knows where I can get some from please let me know, next I took the smaller border edge grunge stamp and with Memento ink London Fog and  inked the stamp around the edges of the frame,

I made the flowers using two of the flower stamps from the same collection, these I stamped with Memento Tuxedo black using first and second generation stamping to get a varied look, after cutting these out I slightly shaped them and layered them up just adding a small pearl in the middle,,

To finish off I used a couple of charms with the rings snipped off and some metal flowers I had in my stash too, the leaves are Dutch Doobadoo paper art leaves and I coloured them with silver metal rub I've had years, they slightly shine in real life!

The beautiful butterfly is made using a Magnolia Doo Hickey die cut and I used the same grunge stamp on this too, the body is a Tim Holtz Ideaology nib which again I covered using the metal rub,

Simon loves the finished frame, so that's good, he he
