Another update

Hi, are you fed up with these as I am lol, yesterday my internet went off again all day! so I was onto BT again GRRRR, anyway the upshot is they have finally found out that my hub is rubbish and keeps breaking down, I told them that two months ago but hey!! what do I lnow lol,

So I've got a new one coming in the post, should be here by Monday or Tuesday at the latest, so if I'm late doing anything ie:  putting my posts on the blog or writing back to an e-mail at least you know why He he,

I will keep trying on and off but it has it's own rules and works perfectly for ages then sulks and no amount of coffee or biscuits helps lol, not in to bribery my hub!  hope you don't think I'm nuts, well I know my lovely friend  Mandy does he he, I may be nuts but I'm harmless at least lol, hope your all ok, see you soon I hope, love and

Yipee I got my glasses today and yep they work lol, so of course I had to make a card  to try them out !! not that I needed an excuse lol,

I've done another Magnolia card because I love them, didn't know that did you he he, and I'm entering it into Magnolia Down Under,

I've coloured my images in copics, after masking Tilda on top of the suitcases, the papers are Magnolia too, the Swirl is a Magnolia Doo Hickey Die, it wasn't cheap but well worth it's money, the string ribbon came from Hobbycraft, flowers, spotted ribbon, and gems from stash,

As you can see I've also sewn the edges of my papers, I hope your all ok and having a lovely day, night etc,

Well I'm posting this later than planned as my stupid computer or email system decided to not play ball again today, so all day I've tried to get on both my e-mails and the web but just got page unavailable, I've phoned up BT twice who after long and laborious searches said I think your computers at fault so we can't help,

I think it doesn't explain why I can't get it  on hubby's lap top either, so I waited for said hubby to get home and what has it done! worked  all lovely, coming on first time no problem GRRRRR, anyway enough of my moaning here's my creations lol,

I've made a card and a luminary,is that the right word? love these things any way lol, coloured with copics and finished with loads of pearls,

Hopefully you can see the effect lol,

The card has a  Magnolia Doo Hickey die which I've covered in pink glitter then layered various flowers and pearl strings on to,

The Heart and Tilda are also Magnolia,

The luminary has hearts cut out with a nestie, layered at the back with vellum on all four sides then different Tildas and flowers used to create the sides, the Heart border is a Martha Stewart punch,

Pearls and charm from stash, Quickcutz corner die, flowers Hobycraft and other,

I hope I'll be able to visit you soon but you never know do you lol,

Stars and stripes for a boy

It's a gorgeous bright if very cold day here today, lots of frost on the cars this morning lol, 

The challenge we have for you today over at Die Cut Dreams is a theme of stars and stripes for a boy, I felt like a change so did a fancy folded  card instead,

Hi my lovely friends,
 Well I went to the opticians yesterday and he said he'd tried  vary focals because they were better or some such but because of the difference I must need from reading up close to were my computer screen is he couldn't get the balance right, so I'm having two different pairs now and my long distance is only slightly going so for now it's ok not to have those, so  if I meet  you in the street I should see you he he,

So as you will have worked out I'm back on my over the counter glasses for now, so I still  have to give my eyes a rest in between gosh I feel like a stuck record lol,

I hope my next ones are right I feel like it's been years lol!!!!

And at least it wasn't me who just couldn't get the vary focals right, so I'll hopefully be visiting you shortly, off Christmas shopping with Kay today ,well she'll be shopping I'll be spending probably he he,

I'm writing this using my old over the counter glasses which work better than my prescription ones, where's the sense in that!! any way I've had a word with the optician who now says because my computer isn't low enough I'll need different glasses than the ones I've got,so I'm back to them on Friday for another measure, you'd think they would have asked where my screen was before they prescribed glasses if it's  a problem wouldn't you?

My first card is for Colour create and the colours this time are chosen by our lovely talented Sharon who's chosen

Purple,Aqua and white with the optional extra of swirls,

I'm entering this into the following challenge,

The swirl is a Doo Hickey die, Marianne  flower and circle die, Quickcutz Snowflakes die, Tilda image and Ticket Magnolia, Glamour Dust, white Pen for cheek highlights, A lovely gift from Cheryl, thanks hun,

My Paperplay Card is another colour combo for you this time it's

Blue, Orange and Olive Green,

 ABC Challenge  ~ F is for Flowers,

The gorgeous Magnolia image is another recent new stamp, isn't she so cute, again coloured with Copics, the  lacy ribbon is from Hobbycraft, the flower is made using three sizes of a scalloped circle nestie, wet, scrunched and layered together with a brad, the leaves are A Magnolia Doo Hickey die,  scalloped  edge die quickcutz, circle and scalloped circle nestability  dies,

Again I've not had much chance for visiting you or finding challenges due to my sore eyes but I hope the next time I get my glasses they will be right as these old ones are beginning to make them sore again, GRRRR,

Hi my lovely friends, this  is just a very quick message to say I got my damn new glasses on Monday, they are variofocals and to be honest I hate them, I know they say you have to get used to them but when I try to go on my computer they don't seem right, so needless to say my eyes are still being strained worse in fact, they were smarting yesterday, so I've phoned up the opticians  and I'm seeing them tomorrow, so I'm afraid I still can't visit you, I'm writing this and it all looks blurred so I hope it's right!!!!

I hope they can sort it soon, I feel like I've been off this thing properly for months, lol,

I'm hopefully back tomorrow with my DT cards,

Colour Combo

Hi Peeps,

Thanks for your lovely entries last week and for putting up with our tiny hiccup we had over at Die Cut Dreams, the challenge this week is for a colour combo of 

Orange and HOT pink,

I must confess I didn't have a lot of stuff for this challenge and with my eyes still playing up, yes I've still not got my glasses, so I'm still doing little bits then resting them, I made this bookmark thingy lol

I used copics for the colouring, papermania cardstrock, papers were a freebie from a craft mag yonks ago, the flower is from my stash from yonks ago too, the centre is actually a coloured pin which I pushed in between the paper layers and it's finished off with a charm on some hot pink ribbon,

The bottom edge is a Tim Holtz edge die,

I'm looking forward to seeing your creations  in our challenge, have fun,

Well I'm still here lol, full of my cold still YUK, and still got Mr Mojo going through my head at a rate of knots lol,

Magnolia Down Under ~ Tag it

Magnolia stamp lovers ~ Sparkling

This is another image from a RAK sent by my lovely friend Mandy, thanks so much again hun, the little image on the tag is one of the new ones from the stamp club isn't she adorable, 

I made a pocket effect with my papers at the bottom so my tag can be slipped in and out and a message can be written on the tag too,

They are coloured with Copics, yes you can tell I'm in a Copic colouring mood can't you lol, and then Tildas dress has lots of glamour dust too, well it is for for Christmas and who doesn't love glitter?

Papers are BO Bunny, cardstock is papermania and matched the paper perfectly, ribbon is from stash and the cute little charm was from my lovely friend Susie,

I have deliberately only put a purple stripe on one of Tildas socks as I think it makes her look so cute,

The tag is a cuttle bug die which I've ran a glue pen round then added Glamour dust on top, her wings have been glamoured too lol, the star and fur trim have Stickles Glue on them,

I've distressed the edges of my papers and card with a distressing tool,

Christmas Decor,

 I've actually managed a card, taken me days to do as as well as my eyes playing up my lovely son has given me a stinker of a cold with a cough and temperature too, just what I need lol

Any way I made a card using one of the new Christmas Tildas sent to me as a RAK by Mandy thanks so much hun,

the challenges I've made this for are 

Just Magnolia ~ in pairs

Totally Tilda ~ Traditional colours, red, green etc 

Tilda is coloured with Copics, but I've mislaid one of my reds so I've just had to make do, GRRR is's being one of those weeks again !!! and the picture quality isn't great as my batteries in my camera decided to die lol,

Tilda is raised on foam pads as the other day I tried using Pin flair glue and the first bit out the tube was runny and it soaked into the image on her face and ruined it so beware!!

come to think of it there's been quite a lot going wrong this last two or three weeks, do you think somebody's trying to tell me something lol,

Well I'm off to play again now as I've got my Magnolia stamps from the stamp club, wish I could say I'll be back soon but with my eyes etc probably not, role on when I get those glasses he he,

But that will probably be a whole new ball game too lol,

Just a quick post

 This is a card I made a little while ago for DCD where the challenge this time is for Get Well, I did a side stepper card for a change and used one of my favourite Tildas lol,
I'm also letting you know that our Susie has no internet connection at all at the moment so she will update the challenge etc as soon as she can, is there something going round?

I've masked Tilda onto the honey jar then coloured them with Copics, the jar has a layer of diamond glaze to mimic glass but of course you can't see that lol,

The papers are from Pink Petticoat and were a freebie on her site, the Bees on the acetate strips are from a Penny Black clear stamp set, a bit of Glamour Dust, Stickles, and computer generated sentiment and it's all done lol,

My E-mails playing up again today it comes up saying gateway appears to be blocked or some such, it's a pain yesterday it seemed to work ok when I tried it, but with my eyes I haven't the time to faff, as it's taking me days to make one thing he he,

Have you missed me lol

Hi my lovely friends,
I'm not posting a card yet again, I'm just letting you know how I'm going on with my eye strain,
the glasses I got were just off the counter which is the type I've used before, they helped a lot but I was and still am getting strain that's horrible, so I took myself off to the opticians and I need different lens strengths  from one eye to the other and also
I'm just going into needing them for my distance too, so no wonder I'm in pain he he,
Anyway I thought I'd just keep you up to date as I'm not blogging a lot as I keep having to do a little then resting them or else the pain is like a poker in my eye which is there  at night too and then I don't get much sleep and so my eyes are strained from getting up, oh the joys of getting older lol,

Colour Create DT card,

Hi peeps, 

Here I am running late, it's been one of those weeks, don't know what day it is half the time, not that that's why it's late lol,

Am I making sense?  no I thought not if Mandy reads this she'll say typical Liz as she can't understand me half the time lol either he he,

Anyway enough of my babbling and on to the serious stuff, is blogging serious? not when I'm involved half the time I'm laughing my socks off, oh well I dither again lol!!

The challenge is a lovely one by our very talented and lovely Mina, it's for 

Pink, Green and cream with the extra of frosted, yum yum

and we are sponsored by Michelles scrapbooking and more

 I'm trusting that all my piccie will show on my template that |I've got now or there will be stern words with Mr Blogger

I've used the Magnolia window which I've printed out then printed again onto aceate, cut it out, layered it onto the printed piece which I have already coloured, then printed another for the wooden frame again cut just this out and stuck that on top of the vellum, was a lot of work so hope it shows lol, then I added glamour dust over the raised up frame and less on the window to look like a snow drift, well in theory anyway, Tilda is also coloured using Copics and mounted onto 3d foam pads for dimension, I've layered up my image with one of the layers also having glamour dust round it for extra frosting and there's a bit at the soles of her shoes but I don't think you can see that, 

With my computer trouble I've not managed to find any challenges so will try to look in a bit if there is any.

Also my apologies to my paperplay teamies as again with said problem I couldn't upload the images from our sponsor in time to get my card done, thanks you Sandie for being so understanding hun,

Just letting you know that this morning the damn things worked perfectly, typical isn't it! I think my computers a man lol, or a woman having a strop! lol

So I'm going to see how it goes on, you never know Mr BT man happen did something last night with out even knowing he he,

Thank you very much for your lovely comments and replies about your e-mail providers at least if and when it plays up again I've got some options to think about,

I'm all behind now and I'm visiting my mum today so I'm afraid that's the way I'll stay,

Another moan lol

Hi peeps, I'm back for the moment at least, Jim rang BT and they said it seems to be working now so like what do you want me to do, then said it may be windows live, I said windows live shouldn't stop google chrome and explorer coming on should it so he waffled some more,

I've gone on windows live to look for a number for someone  that you can talk to on there and is there one not a chance, all questions and answer and complaints quite a  lot of those actually, some made me think not getting on wasn't so bad lol,

so I'm posting a question, any good e-mail servers out there that any one knows about, that tells you when you've got mail and then lets you read it lol,

I've got to monitor my e-mail attempts for 24 hours, then if it's not working phone up BT who will then see if there's a problem and if  it wants to take the blame,

so I could be back tomorrow or may be not, one just never knows lol,

No E-mail

Hi peeps,

 Just letting you know I'm having trouble with my internet connection, it won't let me on my e-mails on windows live at all,I also  tried to get on my computer this morning and it kept saying google chrome  unavailable and e-mails unavailable and it was the same  on Jims laptop too, so I tried to upload on internet explorer and it said that was unavailable too,

honestly I feel like throwing the thing through the window lol,

I got very frustrated when on my windows live it said check these pages to see if we can resolve the problem only it wouldn't let me on the web to do so, waiting 10 minutes for a page to load to be then told sorry unavailable didn't make for a happy bunny, OH NO!!

It's finally brought up google chrome for me to write this but I'm not holding my breath on getting on again, so just in case I don't upload on my DT blogs you know why, as I'll be tearing my hair out and screaming very loudly lol,

Also I may not be visiting as I can't do that with no working computer can I?

I've been having problems on and off with my e-mails for a couple of weeks which is why I evidently couldn't get through to BA and Gio, so if you happen to see this now we know why lol,

I'll get Jim to rant at the service provider tonight as it's a fairly new hub, all modern science and all that and yes a load of ****  he he,

Well now you know what I know which isn't a lot is it lol,

 I said I'd be back it's nearly killed me but I'm here, it's turned into one of those days when all sorts have taken forever lol,

Recipe card for Die Cut Dreams

Hi Peeps,

 It's lovely to be feeling more normal, well normal for me that is lol, I've still had eye strain which in turn leads to headaches so I've got some new glasses and they seem to be working fingers crossed, I suffer from glare a lot which in turn goes into Migraine the low bright winter sun doesn't help at all either, but any way I'm back lol,

the challenge over at DCD is a recipe one and is 

4 flowers, Gems, Emboss and Punch,

I've done a Christmas card again as that's what's needed by me at the moment, yes Christmas again and only October!

Mr Bloggers  slow again this morning I had another picture but it's taking for ever so you'll just have to imagine it lol,

MY card uses a Magnolia Tilda stamp I do so love my Tildas in case any one hasn't noticed yet lol, one day to be on a Magnolia DT ah well we can all dream right!!!! some dream of vacations sad old me dreams of Magnolia DT's lol,

She's coloured with Copics then cut out, took me ages as I'd not my new glasses then lol, the flowers and background are embossed, the leaves are punched and the snowflakes and flowers have bling,
