My Lovely Friends,

Just For You,

Hi peeps, well what can I say, we went to the lakes today, I thought Jim was off his head because it gave rain yet again and boy does it pour down if your up there when it does lol, on the way up there was these big black clouds and the traffic had their lights on coming from that direction, I was sort of dropping subtle hints about turning round etc any way he said we’ll see what it’s like when we get there and I’m really glad we did, because it was gorgeous, lovely sunshine that we’d not seen much of for two to three weeks,  we took the dog’s in the park and walked by the quite noisy river , then fish and chips sat outside, very very naughty but very very nice lol, then it was time to come home and yes you guessed it it was bucketing it down when we got to our village, to be fair it has gone lovely now but half six at night is a bit late to class it as a lovely day lol,

Right enough of my waffling on to my card which I have done for my last GDT for paperplay, I have really enjoyed the challenges and wish to thank the girls for asking me,  the colours I have used are blue, cream and yellow, I’m not sure if that’s the colours of the challenge so you will have to check up but this is what I was told, I’ve used some gorgeous BG Wisteria paper, I just love this paper and it had just those colours in it, I’ve followed the sketch over on the Sugar Bowl Challenge and I’m really pleased with how it’s turned out,

Challenges, The Sugar Bowl~ Sketch,   Pollycraft Monday~ Birthday,

UntitledI’ve used Copics to colour her and used Distress ink for the edge of the image, the borders where made using cream textured card and the quickcutz corners were done in lemon textured card, the leaves are pale lemon vellum and the butterfly is lemon card with a layer of vellum added over the top, it has got glitter as well on the edges of the wings and on the body but you can’t see it so well, pearl string, Hobycraft and the flowers are Magnolia I think which I’ve edged in the same Distress ink as the image, pearls are from stash,

P1020086I think you can just see the glitter on the flowers in her hair and there is glitter on the flowers on the card too,

Right off now to put my feet up all this walking doesn’t do my sore ankle any good lol, and as you will already of guessed I’m hoping my computer will post this in the morning lol ,
