I love this time of year, the colours are so warm and cosy, I love to create projects at this time of year which include pumpkins,
I bought some pumpkins off the internet which are not to big, but big enough to decorate,
I first painted the pumpkin with some white gesso for the paints to grab onto, then I took some Finnabair paint and let it dribble down the pumpkin, when dry I took some crackle Paste and added some here and there,
I took one of the windows with shutters 2 from Dusty Attic, gave it a little esso treatment then went over with a text stamp with some Autumnal ink pad, this i glued to the top of the pumpkin,
I painted the stalk of the Pumpkin with some Dusty Attic Acrylic paint in Pesto,
I then added some paper flowers along with a Foamiran flower I made out of a punch, the white one shown above, inbetween the flowers I added some Toadstools again from Dusty Attic, these are painted with Finnabair paint on the tops and Dusty Attic Forrest Acrylic paint on the base,
I added some more Dusty Attic chipboards as well, these being different leaves leafy stem #2 and mini branches #2, these i added some crackle paste to and then went over with some more of the Dusty Attic paints,
I finished off the display with some handmade leaves cut out of watercolour paper, coloured with Lindy's Gang media and cut out leaf shapes from lady E Design, Flower 6 Poppy and leaves 6 Herbs dies,
I'm entering this into the Dusty Attic moodboard for October,
Happy Crafting!!
