Mr And Mrs

Hi it's my last project i'm showing you today as GDT for Sarah who owns her online shop Craft All Day which has a resin embellishment shop included in it,

I have had some gorgeous resins to play with in my DT boxes, thank you so much Sarah, so last but not least is this wedding themed exploding box,

I used the Gorgeous Mintay papers Marry me for the box, these fit in perfectly with the resins from Sarah's shop, I used this fabulous Special Day plaque/sign on the lid then simply added some of my handmade Foamiran flowers around it,

I made a two layered box, which I will show you now,

In the centre I used this adorable Bride, I fussy cut the groom jacket out of one of the Mintay images then adhered it behind the dress, on the front of the dress I added some of my handmade paper flowers, with some more Foamiran ones at the base,

All the chipboards are by BlooMar design and are left in their natural colour, from the  wedding /love - heart 002, Words set 002, set 005 Love/valentines day set - 002, I added some more paper flowers here and there too,

I also used a fussy cut flower image here too,

Yet more fussy cut flowers and a paper flower again are used on this one too,

The back piece has this adorable bird chippie,

I've kept the lower layer fairly plain so not to add too much bulk,

On the front section I've added another of Sarah's gorgeous resins, this time a wedding cake, this I kept in it's natural state, the detail is beautiful,

On this section I made a pocket with the papers, simply adding fussy cut images on the pocket section, I made it for some money or a gift card to be added in the pocket,

On the opposite side I added another pocket but this time I popped a couple of tags in, these can be removed for a verse etc, again some fussy cut images from the Mintay papers finish this side off,

Last but not least is the back section, this has a gorgeous chippie again by BlooMar inside the pocket,

I hope you like the finished box, do check out Sarah's gorgeous resins they are lovely to work with,

Christmas is Coming

Have you seen the gorgeous chipboards by BlooMar Designs? they do some really beautiful chippies including some 3D, anyway this time I want to show you a card I've made using some baubles, Christmas Collection 01

I'm really loving DL style cards at the moment and these baubles looked fab with this type of card,

I used some stampendous Aged ivory on the baubles with some vintage photo on the base one,

The beautiful papers are by Lemoncraft and I created a flower scene above the baubles,
the Foamiran flowers are made out of the Lady E Design Poinsettia and leaves dies, the leaves are made out of paper then coloured with inks,

Wishing You All The Best

I thought I'd show you a card I've made today for a friend,

I used the gorgeous papers by Lemoncraft from the My Sweet Provence 12 x 12 paper pack and the A4 pad too,

I layered up and distressed a few layers of the papers then created the focal point with a gorgeous frame by BlooMar design, onto this I added some of my handmade Fomiran flowers using Lady E Design dies Flower  001, I used Geletos to colour the flower petals, in Strawberry and Raspberry,

I fussy cut a banner out of the A4 paper pad and added a touch of white Gesso here and there too,

I finished off with some seam binding in a similar colour then over the top I added some white twine then some tiny beads over the top of this too, the butterflies are lemoncraft as well,

I'm entering this into the Lemoncraft Facebook challenge,

Beautiful Autumn

I love this time of year, the colours are so warm and cosy, I love to create projects at this time of year which include pumpkins,

I bought some pumpkins off the internet which are not to big, but big enough to decorate,

I first painted the pumpkin with some white gesso for the paints to grab onto, then I took some Finnabair paint and let it dribble down the pumpkin, when dry I took some crackle Paste and added some here and there,

I took one of the windows with shutters 2 from Dusty Attic, gave it a little esso treatment then went over with  a text stamp with some Autumnal ink pad, this i glued to the top of the pumpkin,
I painted the stalk of the Pumpkin with some Dusty Attic Acrylic paint in Pesto,

I then added some paper flowers along with a Foamiran flower I made out of a punch, the white one shown above, inbetween the flowers I added some Toadstools again from Dusty Attic, these are painted with Finnabair paint on the tops and Dusty Attic Forrest Acrylic paint on the base,

I added some more Dusty Attic chipboards as well, these being different leaves leafy stem #2 and mini branches #2, these i added some crackle paste to and then went over with some more of the Dusty Attic paints,
I finished off the display with some handmade leaves cut out of watercolour paper, coloured with Lindy's Gang media and cut out leaf shapes from lady E Design, Flower 6 Poppy and leaves 6 Herbs dies,

I'm entering this into the Dusty Attic moodboard for October,

Explore

I thought I'd have a change and make a mixed media scene using fabulous resins from Sarah and also using some of the awesome chipboards by BlooMar Design,

I first cut out a piece of watercolour card then using some Lindy's Gang magicals and some water coloured the middle of the paper, when dry I added a little cheesecloth,

I got a resin Baroque type mould in my last DT Kit and I used this first then built up the layers from this, it's in the middle and is fairly hidden but it worked really well for the scene,
I then used some of the BlooMar Chipboards from the Summer Vibes collections, list below,

I used a Resin Light house , then layered on top of this one of the resins boats,

I filled the spaces up with some moss and shells from my stash and more pieces of Chipboard,

I then added a MDF Anchor and a Ships Wheel to the display too, I wrapped a piece of twine around the base pieces,
When all the pieces were stuck down I went over the top with more Magicals,

Autumn leaves

I received some gorgeous Resin leaves as part of my GDT pack from Sarah, who owns the  Craft All Day online store, these gorgeous leaves just called for an Autumn display to me,

I had a wooden plaque in my stash, so using the resin leaves I built up an Autumn scene using Mintay paper images as well as some Leaf dies by Lady E Design, - Leaves 6 herbs, Poinsettia and Winter Leaves, Flower 6 Poppy dies, these I cut out of Water colour paper,

I coloured the resin and paper leaves with distress inks,

As you can see I varied the colours as real leaves do,

I fussy cut out some Pumpkins and this so cute Squirrel then hot glued everything in place,

I couldn't resist adding this gorgeous fussy cut out bird too,

Ho Ho Ho

It's getting nearer to the Big Day and I just couldn't resist altering this MDF Sleigh with some mixed media and my Foamiran Flowers,

I also couldn't resist using this adorable Gnome stamp by Polkadoodles which I coloured with my copics, then fussy cut it out,
I then added some of my Handmade Poinsettia flowers and leaves made out of Lady E Design Poinsettia with winter leaves dies,

The poinsettia is made out of White 0.6 Foamiran and paper leaves which are coloured with distress ink,the stamens are from 14 Craftbar and I also added a little touch of glitter,

Do check out all the dies they cut fabulously,

Last days of Summer

Well I'm a bit late for that but hey it's what fit in with my project, lol
I got this fabulous resin Bike and pots as part of my DT Kits for
The Resin Embellishment shop which is part of All Day Crafts,

I took a MDF tag from my stash and using some Lemoncraft paper from the My Sweet Provence A4 paper pack I cut a piece to shape,
I added a chipboard window by Dusty Attic and after painting it with white Gesso and adding some cheesecloth behind I glued it in place on the tag,

I altered some mini bricks from Dusty Attic and placed them here and there around the window on the tag, over these on the base of the window I added some fussy cut flowers again from the Lemoncraft paper pad, I used some Lady E Design die Tiny leaves to create the leaves,

On the right of the tag I took a branch effect embellishment and fixed it in place then added some moss over the tops, to give a tree in full bloom effect,

At the base of my tag I hot glued a Resin pot which I coloured with some Lindy's Gang products, behind which I added another fussy cut image from Lemoncraft, then after colouring the Resin Bike with some distress ink I hot glued it in place too,

Lemoncraft are doing a challenge so I thought I'd enter it into it, my interpretation is purple flowers tumbling down,

Autumn time,

I wanted to show you today another way I have used a Lantern by BlooMar Designs, they are fabulous for Christmas items but I also thought they seemed fantastic for Autumn too,
My lovely online friend Tammy had used one of these glass baubles for a beautiful Christmas display so I borrowed her idea to use one to,

I made the flowers out of a die from my stash but the leaves on the top are made with watercolour paper from the Poinsettias and Winter Leaves dies by Lady E Designs, Leaves 6 herbs, Flower 6 Poppy, Leaves 004 and Poinsettia and Winter Leaves dies,

I used Lindy's Gang products to colour them, the brown ones are made out of Kraft card stock then I covered them with Glossy Accents,

The awesome 3D lantern I left in it's natural colour simply adding some tiny flowers cut from a tiny die I had in my stash,

I finished it off with some Moss, pumpkin, apples and a toadstool again from my stash, as you can see some more leaves are are used at the back,

Love To Dance

I've created another project for my GDT spot for The resin Embellishment shop,

this time I used the fabulous Ballet shoes,

I couldn't resist making the card in a shabby Chic style so I painted the shoes with some wax then went over the top with some white gesso, this gave a shabby look to the shoes,

The gorgeous papers are by Lemoncraft, from the yesterday collection, so loving their paper designs, and these went perfectly with the Ballet shoes,

My handmade Foamiran flowers are also on the card, made out of pale pink and white  0.6 Foamiran  using the flower 001 die and Poppy 6 dies, I coloured the centres of the flowers with a little Versa colour ink, the leaves are made out of light weight cardstock using the Tiny Leaves die,

Do check out the gorgeous Resins Sarah has in her online store,
