Time For Birthday Post

Hi guys, as you know I'm a guest for Sarah ( Craft All Day) for her Resin shop,
this time I used one of her fabulous Resin clock faces,

Simply adding a little vintage photo on the edges and over the numerals,
I also added a pair of metal fingers from my stash,
The papers I used for the Card are by Mintay and I also got these from Sarah too,

After fussy cutting some of the cut out images from the papers I added a BlooMar Chipboard sentiment on the bottom edge,
Do check all the fabulous resin pieces Sarah has in her online store as well as her Face Book online store too,

For you

Hi guys, I thought I'd show you a card I've created using Lady E Design dies but this time using some card stock, as you know I usually make my flowers using Foamiran but I thought I'd show you how  the dies make beautiful paper flowers to,

I started off by using some of the lovely maja Design paper Pink Linen from the Denim & Girls papers, cutting the lower edge with a Border die by lady E Design, I also cut one out of white card stock which I placed matching the design underneath, then I raised the top layer up with some foam pads,

I cut a laserOwe Love doily chipboard in half and glued it in place on my card, then I began layering up the Lady E Design die leaves and flowers over the top,

I used Flower 001 for the larger flowers and Tiny flowers for the smaller ones, the leaves are from the Leaves 6 Herbs dies,

To make the card stock flowers I used some medium weight ( 160gsm) card then die cut out the flowers, coloured them with some Versa Colour ink, then lightly sprayed them with a little water, scrunch them up in your fingers, then leave them to dry, when dry separate the scrunching use light fingers so as not to tear the card and also to keep in the scrunch look, then layer up as many layers of the petals as you wish, alternating the petals for each layer, her I used two for the larger flowers then added some stamens in the centre,

As you can see I kept the leaves in the white card stock with no extra colouring,

No two flowers will be exactly the same which to me is perfect as no flowers are the same in nature either,

The smaller flowers I only used one layer for the flowers, colouring and scrunching in the same way,
I then finished the card off with some sequins here and there,

2nd Thank you card

Hi guys, I said I'd show you my second thank you card I created using Lady E Design dies and BlooMar Chipboard,

I again used the Dreamer papers by Mintay design, layering them up and using the same dies as last time, but this time I made the flowers out of 0.6 White Foamiran, they where coloured the same way though with versa colour ink pads, and stamens from 14 Craftbar

The teacher I made this for loves the creative side so I added some old paint brushes beneath the flowers,

I used the Lady E border dies again along the side and on the bottom of the top layer, all the dies cut fabulously, I also added some fussy cut out books,

For this card I added the Thank you from the BlooMar words set 003 at the top of the card,

Thank you

Hi guys, I'm here today to show you a thank you card using BlooMar chipboards, I've made for one of my Granddaughters teachers, I will show you another soon

I got some inspiration from my lovely friend Emelia as a card she showed us recently had this light bulb stamp on and I thought that it would be fab to use as a thank you card for a teacher, I masked the word that was included on the stamp and replaced it with inspire though instead,

I used Mintay papers from the Dreamer collection as the base of my card layering pieces up and distressing the edges with a distress tool plus some vintage photo distress ink,

I used Lady E Design dies to make some flowers out of white Silk foam then coloured the petals with some Versa colour helibore and Turquoise inks, stamens came from 14 Craft Bar,

I used the fabulous Thank you chipboard from the words set 003,

I simply added a little distress ink on some of the edges here and there,

Welcome Wagon

Hi guys, have you seen this adorable PND stamp
Welcome Wagon, I saw it and couldn't resist colouring it up,

I coloured it with my copics to match the colours of my papers,
I created the card template using my Silhouette machine and some of the Crafters Companion card stock, then cut out the design in papers from the 12" x 12" Denim & Girls Comfy sheet for the dungarees and a sheet of paper for the top from the Denim & Girls 6" x 6" paper pad Both by Maja Design,

I wanted some detail on the straps so I used some of the eyelets from the mixed Meadow and cut a star out of the DooHickey - Celebration Stars die set, again using one of the 6" x 6" papers,

I finished off the card with a few Foamiran flowers made with 0.6 White Foamiran coloured with an ink pad and Lady E Design dies Flower 6 Poppy, I then cut some Tiny Leaves out of another of the papers from the 6" x 6" paper pad,

Fairy Bodice

Hi guys, you may have seen I have been asked by the lovely Sarah of
Craft all Day to be a GDT for her resin shop, of course I said yes,
I couldn't resist using the gorgeous  Fairy Bodice Resin embellishment for my first project,

I've taken the photo's different ways to try to show the glimmer on the skirt, it glimmers beautifully in real life,

Have you seen the beautiful detail on the bodice,
I decided I wanted to use the fabulous colours on the Lindy's Gang July Mood board with it, as the colours went fabulously with it,

I painted a wooden tag with some white gesso first, then when dry took a Tapestry stencil by Finnabair, and went over it with some Finnabair snowflake paste, I let this dry too,

Meanwhile I took a BlooMar frame 020 and added some white gesso to it, then I coloured it with some Lindy's gang  Shakers in Bratwurst Brown and OOm Pah Pink, it was a little to dark for my project so I lightly went over with some more white Gesso,

While the frame dried I went back to the wooden tag and sprayed it with some water, then I used some Lindy's gang Flat Fabio - Plimaria Pink on the top of the tag, dried it off with a piece of Kitchen roll and then added some of the Steel Shimmer repeating the steps and then i also added Brushed Nickel as well,

I finished my tag off with some flowers and a couple of metal pieces,

Photo Album with BlooMar Chipboards

Hi guys,
As I wrote yesterday I am now one of the Brand Ambassadors for
BlooMar Design Chipboards, and here is my first make as DT using the fabulous Chippies,

I created the Album and Camera effect holder off my my Silhouette machine using the Gorgeous Mintay Kiddie papers,
I fussy cut out the images then arranged them around here and there through out the Album,
I used this beautiful Frame 046 on the Front, onto this I added some different colours of embossing powders by Lindy's Gang, the chipboards take the embossing powders perfectly,
I also used a star and used the same Embossing powder,
The album which fits inside has ribbons on the side so the pages can be flipped to view,
This adorable Let's Celebrate chipboard which comes from the 1st Birthday collection can be used as I have for a baby project too,

The next couple of pages I added some places were you can add photo's again using some of the fussy cut images,
I love this Little dreamer chippie and thought it went perfectly with the fussy cut clouds, I added some charms which I've just noticed are hiding but they do drop down and the teddy with a pearl gem looks cute when in the right place, lol

I added the adorable Teddy Bear with Present on the next page, simply adding E/P again to the hat and present, the present comes in two pieces so I used to different colours for the two sections,
Again the next pages have places for the Photo's, well it is an album!!
It looks like this on the front and then open the flaps and the frame is there for the photo,
Again some more fussy cut images,
I couldn't resist using this fantastic little ABC - train, I added E/P to the train sections and glitter glue on the smoke,

Another lot of fussy cutting with again a place for photo's,
You can slide a photo or journaling  underneath the strip of paper,
And the back page,
