My Lovely Friends,

Sunday 30 October 2011

At least she's calm lol

You know how we've been moving furniture, well guess who didn't check their computer and which didn't want to start this morning, hubby's tinkered about but whether it will work properly next time is another thing!

so if I'm missing you will know why lol,
our challenge over at
Make it shabby/vintage

as you know I love this look so it wasn't too hard for me lol,
Tilda is again coloured with copics, which on here look a little lighter then in RL lol, and the usual white acrylic paint has been used to distress the edges, I have again used two Spellbinders dies for the main image and these have been distressed too,
the gorgeous doily was a gift and I love it, but sadly am running out fast boo hoo,
the paper edges are again torn and edged with walnut stain distress ink,
I've glittered the flowers and added white crackle paint to the keys, which is a quickutz die I found while having to move stuff, and which I totally forgot I had
Papers are Magnolia and Tim Holtz
my card stock is from Samuel Taylor's, love to have a ride to their shop when it's a lovely day as I go to the one near Skipton so it's a bit of a journey, but well worth it when you get there and of course they are on the web too,
talking of which they have a challenge over on their blog site link below to make a Christmas  card and the prize is a gorgeous Martha Stewart Icelandic snow double craft punch,

Challenges
Simon says stamp ~ Anything goes
Samuel Taylor crafts  ~ Christmas cards
 Magnolia-lictious ~ Photo inspiration
Magnolia Mania ~ vintage
Maggie lovers challenge ~ Red and Brown

well look forward to seeing your creations,
see you soon,

Hey hunny, your card is so beautiful, love the distressing and your colouring is fab :)
Ian's had his orders that he needs to try and get you some more doilies when he eventually goes back to work, the doctor signed him off for 6 weeks following his surgery, 6 weeks for goodness sake that's far too long, I'll never cope lol.
Thanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp for our anything goes challenge :)

Wow thats all I can say. I do so admire people who can make such beautiful shabby chic. I have trouble taking a blade to paper let alone tear it.

Love your cards but could I ask that you provide info on the specific stamp names you've used for those like me, who're only starting stamping & have no idea of the various "Tilda"'s available etc.
Thanks SO much :) :) Romayne
