My Lovely Friends,

Thursday 19 May 2011

Hi guys

I'm busy packing as were off on hols on Friday for a week, son's still at home so the house will be a tip when I get back but at least it's a break,
were going to Centre Parcs in Elveden, anyone else going let me know lol

I've heard the weather is still gorgeous down south so I hope it stays that way!!!

right on to the challenges,
Colour create this time have a colour challenge chosen by our lovely Sylvia and it's
white, cream and brown,
optional extra one more colour plus buttons and flowers,
here is the inspirational picture

as you can see my extra colour is blue, to be honest a little darker than I intended as my palest copic ran out so I had to use the next one up, or should that be down? lol
the base is cut using a go kreate die and of course the gorgeous image is a hAnglar stamp,
My flowers are from WOC and the pearl buds are Kars, the large pearls are really buttons which I have glued on side ways to hide the shank, these were another raid of my mums button box he he,
papers are sewn as you can see and I have made a border for the white using a MS punch
challenges
Timbroscrapmania ~ buttons and stitches
A spoonful of sugar ~ Anything goes

paper play challenge
our challenge this time is set by my lovely friend Mandy so of course it's called
Sparkle Galore
and yes you've guessed it show us your glitters, and glitz the more the merrier lol,
this is really sparkly which I hope you will see on the next pictures lol,
Mandy gets lovely sparkly pictures but I've to get them yet! lots more practise needed he he,
I've stamped out two images then made my own path with doing dots of three colours with my copic pens and the sky using copics too, my first attempt at the sky, and of course when my pen also ran out so it's not as good as I would have liked,

Can you see the Glitter?
I've distressed the edges of both my card and paper and added Tim Holtz crackle paint then just before it dried added some glamour dust so there is hints of sparkle at the edges too,
the gorgeous magnolia tree had to have some treatment too lol,
the flowers at the bottom I sprayed with perfect pearls then added glamour dust to them for extra sparkle
sorry the pictures a little fuzzy on this!
I wish you could see the sparkle !!
