Wow 2nd post today and it's not even two o'clock lol

Hi peeps,
Yes I'm still awaiting the phone call lol, probably wont get it today either!!!

I've seen the challenge over at Simon Says stamp with a gorgeous colour scheme and they are also doing a DT call might be brave and apply!!!!!
I mean who wouldn't die to be on this DT

I've dug out my copics for a change you know how it is sometimes your in the mood for one thing rather than another, well it's typical because as I started using my E50 I noticed it's running out, but thankfully it kept going just long enough,
They are also using WOJ stamps so I've brought one of mine out of hiding lol,
I've not followed a sketch, I sort of made it up as I went along lol,
the bling squares I've had years but thought they went great with this, the lace is a favourite of mine as it seems to go with so much,
the swirl is a Magnolia Doo Hickey die, the punch is of course Martha Stewart,
I've outlined the image with  a W1 copic pen for a little depth just on one side to give shadow
I love copics but need yet more colours lol,
Challenges
Simon Says Stamp ~ coffee and cream
Challenge up your life ~  monocrome
Have you noticed not a hint of distressing lol, what do you think me or not !!!

My Magnolia stamp club has come and they are gorgeous, so I'm off to cut out the little beauties so I can play lol!!
Have a lovely day, and don't forget I'll be back tomorrow with my DT cards lol!

My First card for Basic Grey DT

Hi peeps,
Over at Basic Grey we have a lovely sketch for you this time, it's by our lovely Heather and it's fab,

I decided to use my new punch around  the page as well, which was fun as my trimmer cut the size slightly larger so of course it didn't match up correctly, after a lot of cursing I tried an old trimmer I had and it worked perfectly! what's the point of a trimmer that measures wrong!!! so needless to say I'm not a happy bunny lol!
right not what you wanted to hear! so I'll be good now,
My image is of course a Magnolia from the latest collection not sure what's she's called maybe Tilda with cake!!! do you think? lol
she's coloured with distress inks and I've added diamond glaze on her shoes, but I think you'll have to take my word for that he he,
the gorgeous paper are of course Basic Grey and are from the porcelain  collection 6 by 6 pad, just found out you can't get it in this size any more and I'm gutted!

As you can see my papers are stitched and distressed something I love to do, oh and I think if you look closely you may be able to see the glaze on her shoes after all lol,
The ribbon is seam binding that was part of a lovely birthday pressie from my lovely blogging friend Mandy, thanks hun I love them all,
Pearl gems, lace and roses from stash,

I think my shadows a little to dark on this image must remember for next time lol,
challenges
Fussy and Fancy ~ use something edible on your project
If the shoe fits ~ Birthday
All that scraps  Magnolia ~ Let's celebrate Birthdays

will check up later to see if there's any more,
Hope you all have a lovely weekend, hope to catch up with you soon,

Some exciting news and a card

Hi peeps,
I'm over the moon to tell you my daughter is pregnant,
She's had her first scan yesterday and I was told strictly I wasn't to say any thing  till she'd had it lol, she's due in August and it will be our first grandchild, Were  so excited,

Now for my card,
I've used a lovely hAnglar stamp that was sent as a Birthday present from my lovely friend Elaine, thank you so much hun, I love it,
I've coloured her using Copics, which was hard because I'd forgotten how to use them you may still think I've forgotten when you see it lol!

Over at Simon Says Stamp they want make your own embellishment, well I've threaded some thread through some  lace with a lot of holes which was hard to do lol, pulled it up tight to form a circle joined the ends and made a flower effect, added a button on top which has a little raffia tied on,
I've then used the same raffia to make a bow,
I've made a muffin using shrink plastic which started out as a large muffin cake from Magnolia,
the Doo Hickey trim I cut out then put it through my crimper to add detail, but you can't see that very clearly, typical !!!

Challenges,
Simon Says Stamp ~ Make your own embellishment,
Top tip Tuesday ~ All stitched up

Well hope you all have a lovely weekend,
Hugs Liz xx

A Celebration

Hi peeps,
Thought I'd show yo a card I've been commissioned for,
The lady wanted a larger card then the square ones and wanted it for her mum and dad's Golden Wedding,
I didn't want it to be too much Gold though so let me know what you think,
oh err should I have said that lol,

The glasses are of course a Magnolia stamp which I've stamped once then masked and printed another, the images I have coloured with Distress inks, then added Glamour dust for the sparkly pop!
Flowers are a mixture from all over and I thought the Tim Holtz film strip looked good for the memories involved, to highlight the Golden Anniversary the  leaves, bubbles at the top of the champagne glasses and the trims are gold,
Challenges
2 sisters ~ Hearts
Crazy4 ~ Hearts
Let's ink it up ~ Romance
Cupcake ~ I love you ~ Hearts
Oldie but a goodie ~ Add a Heart

The inside has a lovely verse which I have added a Martha Stewart hearts border down but I've forgotten to take a picture duh!

Well peeps, hope your having fun,
see you later
Hugs Liz xx

Love you

Hi peeps,
If any one saw my post yesterday about losing my mojo, it's great to let you know it came back lol,
I wrote my post and went in my craft room, thought I'd get some ideas together and my son walked in, well I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!
any how after he'd left and we'd had a lovely chat and a good cup of tea my mojo was their in all it's wonder though you may not think so when you see my card he he!
I've made this card for my daughters Birthday, the trouble is she does occasionally look on here so if she see's it well I'll just have to do her another won't I lol,

I added some diamond sparkles glitter to her hearts but it's changed the colour slightly, they weren't that colour to start off with and the photo makes it more pronounced but I think it's still ok and isn't your heart that colourish anyway lol!!!! ( use your imagination here) lol,
the border die is a Martha Stewart punch that I got from the show, it's lovely to use and I just punched two layers of card sandwiched them together added my lace and hey presto!
the papers are of course Basic Grey and are from the sugared pad,

The bottom of my card is done using prima flowers, and roses and do you see a Tim Holtz film strip peeking through there?

I just love this gorgeous spotted ribbon which is here and at the top of my card too,

My image is coloured with Distress inks as is the background, the shape is of course a Spellbinders  nestabilty die,

Think I've gone a bit overboard on my piccies, are you agreeing with me here????
