My Lovely Friends,

Sunday 5 September 2010

Jack's Christening Card,

Hi  Peeps,
I've used the most adorable Sugar Nellie image for Jacks christening card,it's called vintage baby,
Jacks  being christened next Sunday and he looks just like this image all cuddly and such a good head of hair, his mum keeps having to have it cut lol,

I'm entering this over at The Sugar Bowl where they are after some New Sweeties, they have provided a lovely sketch to follow too, I have tweaked mine a little to fit into the look I needed for a Christening card,

I have distressed the edges of my papers, added distress inks on the edge and on the back paper and the main image added Stickles Glitter glue too,

The gorgeous baby is coloured with copics and the I've added used a clear star  gelly roll pen for the rest, which in RL really sparkles,
The prayer book I've attached to vellum and cut it out, the window I attached to a sheet of foil and again cut it out to hopefully give the illusion of a stained glass window, the cross is a peel off and |I've added Gem stones, which again in RL look better than they do on here, typical isn't it?

The tag is a Spellbinder fancy Tag and I've placed the edges over the ribbon, I like that effect and will use it again,
I can't believe how the shine doesn't show, when I'm sat here looking at it, in the place where I took the picture and it's shining away merrily lol,

I've got the family coming for tea tonight, so havoc will reign again lol,
Oh I forgot I went to a craft show yesterday but more about that tomorrow, bet you can't wait lol,
Have a lovely day, speak soon,
