Kay and Ant's Wedding Anniversary card

Hi guys, It's my daughter and Son-in laws wedding anniversary today and  over at we do doobadoo the challenge this time is different shapes, so I have made this card in a modern style as as I've said before kay doesn't really do foofiness!!!

The stamp is called Love birds by Jofy, so love this quirky stamp!!!!

The papers are by Maja Design Vintage summer Basics from Live and Love Crafts,

I used homemade 3D paste for the brick stencil, and finished the card off with flowers, gesso, lace and a Tim Holtz film strip,

A girlie card for my blog

Hi guys, my lat two posts have been for my hubby and there is only so much you can do for a mans card right? so I'm putting this on for a feminine feel lol,

This was a commissioned card  I made a few weeks ago but thought I'd blog it now, I have used an 8 x 8" card because I wanted to fit all the elements in,

The gorgeous papers are by Maja again, this time the 12 x 12 so i could get the size I needed, I used the same technique on the papers as my GDT card for Bunny Zoe's  I showed you a few posts back, I love the clock peeking out of the top corner, so love this clock paper by maja design, have I said that before???? lol

the pearl heart on top of the scrunched paper is by  Marianne Design and is from Bunny Zoe's,

The image is by Lily of the Valley and is coloured with my copics then I have used distress inks on the outer edges to give a softer look, a hint of  frantage in shabby white adds a little detail,

On the edge of the paper I added some lace again for interest and texture then made lots of paper roses using some of the papers and added a pearl in the centre and an odd dutch doobadoo paper art leaf or two, these I coloured with Distress ink, the flourish is a  large die by Cheery Lynn,

The butterfly is made using delight clay from Crafts and Me and a Martha Stewart butterfly mould,

I have added yet more detail with a crafters workshop Gothic Romance stencil and some home made 3D paste, another of the flourish dies, plus a smaller one too, yet more flowers, butterflies and a clock, so love these, 

A hint of cheese cloth finishes off the card, 

Took me ages making those flowers he he,

well hope this is feminine after my men cards lol

James - Big heart

Hi all, here again with a card for hubby, this time for his Birthday!!, seemed a good idea at the time to get married so near to his Birthday!!! what was I thinking lol

It's a really busy month for cards as my daughters Anniversary is next Saturday too, still these are nicer to make then mens cards!!! 

I've used a gorgeous LOTV image called James- Big Heart, he's coloured with my copics, tried a different technique for the fur, think it's ok!!! hopefully!!!

the papers are from the My Minds Eye Heirloom pad from Nikki at Bunny Zoe's, love these papers,

The sprawling ferns dies are also from Bunny Zoe's too,

I layered him onto a scalloped circle die then a fab die by Noor, these look fab when embossed as the detail really shows,

the Happy Birthday sentiment dies are by Cheery Lynn, love these too,

I added a Bloomy tag die by Magnolia for a little added detail on the right with a charm I had in my stash,

well got to go now, got a another Anniversary card to do and another mans Birthday card to do as well, need some mojo for the mans one as I think it's run off with the milkman lol,

You're My Anchor

Hi guys, it's mine and hubbys 34th Wedding Anniversary today!!!! whoop whoop!!

I still love him to bits!!!

and for his card I used this adorable image from A random Fan called My Anchor

I got her from the lovely Nikki at Bunny Zoe's and she's so fab to colour which I have done with my copics for a change, are you like that? I go with what mood I'm in for the medium I use lol,

the frame is made up of some corrugated card then i added some of the kaiser craft lace round it too,

the striped paper is by Magnolia and has some gorgeous birds on it so I cut them off  to use for another time,

The sentiment is computer written and i cut it out with a Doo Hickey tag die, the charm and twine is from stash, 

Too finish off the card I added a border using another Magnolia Doo Hickey die and a Love sentiment using a Kaiser craft text stamp,  the paper craft gears are by Dutch Doobadoo and i thought on here they teamed in with the nautical look too, all links below,
