Colour create and Paper play Time

It's pouring down with rain here at the moment, not nice at all I can tell you so it's a lovely excuse to craft lol,

Before I get onto the challenges, I just wish to say our lovely teamie Dena has left us but will join in the challenges and we have two lovely new treamies who have joined us, pop on over to colour create to see their fabulous work and give them a lovely welcome too,

On Colour Create we have a gorgeous challenge for you from our lovely Di,

the colours are

I loved this colour challenge and have used my card for  Paperplay as well as the  challenge there is to use green too and or Good luck,

As you can see I've used one of the lovely Digi images from Teddy Bo & Co

called Teddy-Bea swing,

I followed Rach's gorgeous sketch  and coloured the image  with copics,

my leaf ribbon was a pressie from Janny, thank you hun,

It's all change, lol

Hi peeps,

It's all change here at liz's corner, I'm moving my craft room to another room lol,

it gets so hot in the old room which is just off the conservatory,I opened the door to let some heat in to air the house and thought I can't craft in here in the middle of summer I'd melt, lol

So I'm now in Simon's old room, hope he doesn't need  to come back!

Enough of my babble lol, over at Magnolia Down Under they want anything other than square or a rectangle card shaped card, well I've used my Go Kreate circle dies and some lovely Magnolia papers I got on Saturday, they are gorgeous,

This has been taken in my craft room, does it seem ok for the light etc, I never know where to take my pictures for the best, lol

I've had a change and coloured Tilda with copics, yep I was in a copic mood this time, the background is coloured with them too only in a very pale colour,

the swirl is a Magnolia Doo Hickey, roses are WOC,

the butterfly was a gift from someone years ago and I've tried a tulle bow, love this stuff but I find it difficult to know what to do with it,

Machine sewn stitching but not a bit of distressing in sight! It's no good it won't last long I'll get withdrawal symptoms, lol

Thing's with wings

Hi peeps,

It's Saturday again, doesn't time fly lol, and over at Basic Grey we have a fab challenge for you,

Wings
 it can be Fairies, butterflies, or images like mine he he,

This gorgeous Hanglar stamp was another of my Birthday girfts from Elaine, thanks you so much hun!

Isn't she gorgeous! I love her,

Again I've used Distress inks to colour her and the background too, her wings have been glittered and glamoured for added sparkle,

The Basic Grey papers are from the Curio pad, love these papers too and were again part of the pressie so thank you again,

the butterfly punch is an x-cut I think!

Lace from stash and is straight though it doesn't look it on here lol,

the tickets I scrumpled up in my hands to soften them and add texture,

all papers are machine sewn too,

Good News

Hi peeps,

I've heard from Kay this morning and she's feeling fine, she had a fairly good sleep and no stiff neck or anything this morning, so that's a relief,

Thanks for your concern, it's much appreciated, and to celebrate I've made a card and I'm slowly getting some candy together for later too lol!

I saw  the challenge over at Simon Says Stamp which is a recipe,

1 image,

2 patterned papers and plain for layers

3 different types of embellies,

I thought great right up my street lol,

I've coloured Tilda with Distress Inks and the usual background too, so love doing this!

my papers are distressed on the edges and machine sewn, another fav of mine,

my card is also sprayed with perfect pearls mist to add a soft sheen, on a picture further down you can see it better,

the gorgeous flowers are my second which has had the stickles and glamour dust treatment,

and the third embellie is my gorgeous seam binding that my lovely friend Mandy sent me  for my Birthday, it's lovely hun, thankyou!

This is where I'm hoping you can see the soft sheen, and the sparkle on the flowers too lol,

the papers are a mixture of Prima Jack n Jill, and a freebie from a craft magazine,

Here's a close up of Tilda lol, I know you've seen enough already lol,

Hi Peeps

Just letting you know why I've been AWOL a little,

Had a very busy weekend with family, just the usual, the Monday Jim was off and I had the hairdresser at night, so I was all set to be on here yesterday and I got a text off Kay saying some one had run into the back of her car and she was in hospital waiting to be checked out, as she had a throbbing banging headache,

the doctor would have done an x-ray and a catscan but because she's pregnant he couldn't, as you can imagine I was worried sick and felt sick too,

Anyway eventually last night her headache eased and she seemed ok, but she's to kept an eye on for 48hours,
