Challenges time!

hi peeps, well can you believe it's Thursday again, doesn't time fly! so of course it's Colour Create and Paperplay's challenge day,

Colour Create is  our lovely Mina's choice today and she has chosen
blue, grey and white, optional extra Vellum
we are being sponsored by
Michelle's scrapbooking,

Now I've made my card using some gorgeous small Hanglar images, they are so cute!!!! love them, lol
have you got that I love cute yet!!
I've used a card blank from craftwork cards, which i have distressed with Distress inks, I have also distressed my main image layer too,the flower is a Molly Blooms flower which I have stamped in grey onto vellum then highlighted with a spica pen, the flower head I stamped again, cut round freehand to get a flower shape then layered this onto two die cut large flower shape die by Sizzix, I highlighted these with the pen too, in RL this shimmers beautifully, all has been joined together with a brad,
The images have been coloured with Copics,

Challenges
Scrap creations ~ anything goes

Our challenge today is chosen by my lovely friend Mandy is
at the beach,
well I've done a easel style cut out creation  again, must stop doing these they take ages lol,
As you can see all images are by Magnolia and are coloured with copics again,
This is the left hand side of the card which includes my new  fishing Tilda, for the line I have used real fishing line which I nabbed off my hubby lol, I then stuck her bait hook  onto it, see main picture, the oyster shell I made by folding some card, stamping the shell, cutting them out, colouring in the middle and adding a pearl then I edged the shell with glitter and the shell effect on the top too,
This side has one  of the latest collections too which is Tilda with Kite, I backed the string with a piece of  thick line which gave it strength to stand up, all the front images are on tabs to keep them upright apart from the shells of course lol,
the pier is made from  corrugated card, stripped from a cardboard box, painted with acrylic paint and I've then  added tilda to sit on top,
the mock fishing net is made by using cheesecloth roughly cropped and stuck to the card with a hot glue gun, the starfish have been stuck the same way too, the sea is a clip art image which I cut round freehand and highlighted with a white pen and some glitter, oh look you can see fishing Tilda's bait hook lol,
The flag poles are made from fishing pole tips which again I robbed off Jim, to be fair he did say I could lol, anyway I cut them to the right size, they were black so I coloured them with acrylic paint, then I wrapped fluffy string down the pole,  the tops are a brad which I glued on with a hot glue gun, then I attached them on to the card with a hot glue gun too,
my papers are machine sewn,

Two colour challenges for you

Hi guys,
it's Thursday again, doesn't time fly so of course it's colour create's and paper play challenge time,

we have a lovely colour challenge for you at colour create set by our lovely Sharon,
purple, blue and silver
optional extra Fathers day/ masculine
we are being sponsored by Bunny Zoes with a £10 gift voucher, (wish I could join in) lol

It's my son in laws birthday next week and he loves computer gaming (x box) and  the colour purple so of course this fab image from Teddy Bo fitted perfectly, I love these Teddy Bo and Teddy Bea images so much and can always find one that fits what I need to do , I had already made the card using this Grand spellbinders die when I saw that Teddy Bo's challenge is for a shaped card how fab was that lol, now as you will see my image is coloured with copics but other than that it's fairly simple, the reason is Ant doesn't do fussy, flowers, pink or girly so I've had to sit on my hands as I so wanted to put loads on lol,
for the  silver I have used a silver pen which is used for the telly screen frame and the back,

Outside the box lol

Hi guys,
It's Thursday already wow, doesn't time fly, so of course it's colour create and paper play time,

I've had a change today for my colour create creation and done a door hanger this is one of Susie's dies available from her web shop which will be open again shortly after her house move,
the challenge is our lovely Kerry's choice and is for
Aqua/green/purple/white
optional extra glitter

above is the inspirational picture,

I coloured Tilda with copics, then on the outside edge I stamped a grunge flower using Distress ink, then using a slightly different flower I used it on the main door hanger using a darker ink,
I added glitter to her shoes and hem but it's hard to see, need to practise this again lol,
the gorgeous roses are WOC and the pearls are from stash,
challenges
Crafty calendar ~ April shower bring forth may flowers
Papertake weekly ~ anything goes

Paper plays challenge is
SHOW US YOUR STYLE
well I've done something I love to do which is to have one of my images slightly coming off the main image, I masked this gorgeous new Dog from Magnolia onto the main image then did another one which I then cut out and layered onto my main image so that I had him in the right place but he went beyond the square layer!
hence outside the box lol,
this time my images are coloured with Distress inks and have hints of glitter on them, I also love to distress my edges and sew on my papers so of course I've done that too lol
I have also used my Fiskars border punch again, which I've had ages and only just started using properly lol,
challenges
ABC challenge ~ T is for two images, sorry just realised mine has three sorry if it doesn't count
7 Kids ~ April flowers
MDU ~ lace and ribbons

Well guys it gives rain for us today, still with the fires on the moss land not to far away it sounds like we need it, hope to catch up with you later, have fun
