Pretty in Pink

Hi guys, I'm here today with another post as GDT for Scrapiniec,

I so love these chipboards as they are so versatile, delicate yet will take all sorts of 

paints and mediums too,

As you can see I have made two shabby Chic styled cards, using the adorable chipboards from the Spring Prodigy range,

I lightly coloured my chipboard pieces with a light covering of distress ink then added a little liquid pearl here and there on the branches too,

I then  finished this card off with some lace, ribbon, flowers and embellishments from my stash,

I made my next card sing more chipboards from  the Spring Prodigy range,

I again added distress ink and liquid pearl on the branch, but this time I also added some die cut flowers to the branch, I love the delicate look this gives!!

I used the same type of embellishments but added a little torn corrugated cardboard and some die cut butterflies cut out of vellum, the papers are Heart Painted by lemoncraft,

A Matching gift Set

Hi guys, I'm here today with another project as

GDT at Scrapiniec 

This time I have made a Card, Gift Bag and matching tag using the lovely daffodil and lace collections, my Mum loves daffodils so I made these with her in mind,

I kept to the same papers, lace trim, and stenciling adding A Daffodil Bouquet piece to the card, this I coloured with white Gesso then distress markers on the flower heads, a little seam binding and twine finish it off,

I used lace borders - 04 on here 

For the gift bag I used the daffodil frame - 05 again coloured the same way, with the seam binding and twine, the lace border I used on here is the Lace Border - 02

The tag is again kept to the theme but I used Doily lace - 01

What should i make for Tea!!

Hi guys, back again today for

Scrapiniec as GDT,

This time I have made a Recipe Box with inserts,

I used some of the fabulous Yum Yum products for this project, colouring them with distress ink,

I used some older Magnolias papers from my stash which I thought fit the box perfectly,

I added a Doily Lace -02 in the middle too,

These are the inserts,

I used the following chipboard pieces,

Yum Yum  - Baking 

Yum Yum - Sugar and Flour

Yum Yum - Kitchen Aid

Doily Lace - 2 medium Rosettes

Exploding box with 3D cradle Tutorial

Hi guys, 

I'm back again with a project I have made for the Scrapiniec blog with an exploding box and

a tutorial I have made using one of  the gorgeous 3D cradles they have,

I have used a beautiful chippie from baby land collection on the top of the lid, adding a little glamour dust for a delicate sparkle,

inside I have used some more of the baby land and pregnancy set chippies too,

I have added some lace, pearl trim to my finished cradle and then placed one of the adorable sleeping baby girl chipboards, again I have added a little glamour dust glitter for some delicate interest,

Hi guys, i am so excited to be showing you what i have made using some of the gorgeous chipboards I was sent as part of my GDT package from Scrapiniec,

They do adorable, intricate, delicate designs and are so lovely to work with,

For my first post i have made a layout!! yes you heard right a layout!!

about the third one I've ever done!!! he he

I love Palm trees so when I saw this fantastic palm tree scene i just had to do a layout using one of my photo's from a holiday last year!!

I kept the chipboard in it's natural colour , just adding a few beads in the center of the trees,

 and a few micro beads on the beach area,

I also added the lovely inscription, shell and camera as well, all links below,

I added a little stenciling, cheesecloth, corrugated card, stitching and natural fibres to finish it off,

When the weather is dull and grey I look at my layout and I'm back in palm tree heaven!! lol
