poinsettia Bauble card

Hi guys, I thought I'd show you my latest and probably last Christmas card I've created using the fabulous bauble stencil by Sweet Poppy,

I love the stencil and have used it quite alot, this time I combined it with a Tim Holtz Poinsettia stencil,

I created the stencil using a technique I saw by Eileen Godwin on the internet, my cardstock wasn't as happy with taking off the inks from the Gesso but I quite love the misty look it gave instead,

After I'd stencilled the Poinsettias I went over the Bauble shape again with distress inks in Fired Brick and Antique Linen, simply blending the colours together,

I used Iced Spruce on the top section first then added a little of the Antique Linen then the Fired Brick,

I finished the edges of the card off with some snow effect paste and added some small dots on the bauble too,

If I had more cards to make I'd certainly do this type again,

Happy Crafting!!

I don't know if you will see this since it has been some time since your original post, however, I'm trying to find the Eileen Godwin post that you are referring to. Your card is just beautiful and I have both the stencils but can't figure out how to create the white poinsettias. I found a bunch of her tutorials but couldn't find this one. Your card is just amazing and I'd love to make one like it. My email is carole.strawn@yahoo.com. Thank you.
