Monochrome Birthday card

Hi guys, I'm here today with a card I've made recently for my daughters birthday,
I love this  872 image so much and have coloured her in similar colours using my copics in colours
 skin, E000, E00, E21, E93 and hair and outfit in E40's and W0's
I used some distress ink on the edges too,

As usual I distressed my paper edges then layered them up for a shabby Chic look, then added some lace again in a similar colour way to tie it all in,

some die cuts and pearl string from my stash finish off the card,

Happy Birthday

Hi guys, I am here today to show you some of the gorgeous products which are available over at
My son's Girlfriend had a Birthday recently and I wanted to make her a card using some of my handmade Foamiran flowers but also for it to springlike and a little zingy, is that a word? well it is to me,!!! lol

I used the fabulous Morning Dreams  papers for the layered background, I distressed the edges of each layer again, as it's something I love the look of,
I then cut out the flowers on one of the papers as the base for my display, layering this up with foam pads, underneath this I added one of the gorgeous Scrapiniec chipboard pieces which I coloured with some white Gesso before gluing onto my card,
I then cut out another couple of individual flower heads to add among my Foamiran flowers to give some more dimension, shown below my flowers on the left,

I made my larger flowers out of a Rosy Dot hearts die and white Foamiran which I then added a little colour to the centre of the petals with some oil pastel, I used the adorable heart stamens in the centre's too,
all links below,

I also made some rose buds for my display, I made them all using the multi flower die using the smallest petal die only, on some of the buds I used yellow Foamiran then white for the outer petals, this mimicked the flowers on the papers, then I used the yellow only on the others, I finished these buds off with some hand made Calyx's for the bottom,

Here you can see the chipboard pieces a little better,  here and there I also added a tiny Foamiran flower made using a punch from my stash in white Foamiran which I again coloured with oil pastel,
To finish off my card I used some of the fabulous sequins here and there and a die cut Happy Birthday die from my stash,

What to wear

Hi guys, it's my turn to show you one of the latest February releases called
What To Wear,   (We've all been there right)  Lol!!!
by Wendy at All Dressed Up

I decided it would be fab to use on a gift bag for a little present for a special day,

I coloured the image with my copics, simply adding a little glitter here and there then two small self adhesive pearls for the handles on the drawer fronts,

The papers are by Maja design which I have distressed on the edges and I finished my bag off with embellishments from my stash which fit in with the theme,
Do check this and all the other gorgeous releases too,

Sadly I have decided to step down from my DT role for All Dressed Up
As I feel it's time for a change, but I wish to thank Wendy for all the totally gorgeous images she has let me play/work with, I have loved them all,

There is a DT call going on at the minute so if your interested check it out, they are a lovely team to be part of, xx

Love is in the Air

Hi guys, I've made another card using the gorgeous papers by Maja Design from the Sofiero collection, these papers are one of my absolute favourites, they are available on sale as single sheets too

I love the muted images and soft colours and patterns,
As you can see I also used two of the tags from the Ephemera sheet, these are so gorgeous and simple to use, I simply cut round them, edged them with a little distress ink then added an eyelet on the top
then threaded some twine through,

I layered these on the top of the doodled circle die by Gummiapan, these dies cut fabulously and have some awesome design and are a really good price, do check them out,
I wanted a little interest at the bottom of the tags, so I cut a envelope out of some vellum and stamped a rose head from a reprint stamp Suha has in store and is on sale too, I stamped it out with a versamark pad then used embossing powder over which I heat set with my heat tool, then at the other side I used the adorably cute typewriter die by Magnolia which comes with the lovely love insert too, this slips into the die, (how cute!!!)

I finished my card off with some of the rose buds to  follow the theme, Suha has some gorgeous flowers in stock, check those out too!! but don't buy them all I need some, Lol

Abi Ballerina

Hi guys, it's challenge time over at the
All Dressed Up blog again
as usual it's anything goes as long as you use a ADU image,
I couldn't resist using this adorable Abi Ballerina digital image, as she is one of faves!!! lol

I decided to make her the main focal point of my fairly CAS card for me, I coloured her with my copics and simply added a little glamour dust on her Tutu,
behind the image I distressed the edges of my layered papers and added a little tulle too,

I finished off my card with some flowers from my stash in similar colours and a few gems,
Do check out all the fabulous images Wendy has in her store, I'll be back later this month with one of the latest releases too,

A Hint Of Spring

Hi guys, I'm here today for 14 Craft Bar
with a floral display I made using some of the fabulous Foamiran from

I had this old tin in my stash for years and always wondered how to use it, when I decided to have a go at some Crocus flowers I thought ta da at last I can use it!!! lol
So I hand drew a template for the petals then cut them out using the fabulous orange Foamiran - 026,

As you may be able to see I then used a mould to add a little detail on the petals before making them up into the flowers,

I made the centres of my crocus out of some yellow Foamiran - 004 and some yellow stamens too,

I then used some floral tape and hand cut leaves to finish my crocus off,
Did you also spot my 3 leafed clovers?

These I made with a heart punch, then added the veins with a tooth pick, I twisted three lengths of very thin wire together, spreading the top out into three, I then glued one heart onto each piece of wire and then tweaked them into the correct place,

To make the display, I took my tin added some floral oasis type foam, stuck my flowers into it, then glued some moss type product on the top,

This really cheers me up on a cold dull or wet day,

Do check out all the gorgeous products 14 Craft Bar has in store,

Live laugh Love

Hi guys, well were in February the month of Love, lol
So I thought I'd make a romantic styled card for today's post for
Swedish House Crafts,
As you know Suha has lots of gorgeous products in her online store as well as at fabulous prices!!

I made my card 5" by 7" for a change, I do so love to do something different every now and again, he he,

The background paper is by Maja Design, I do so love their papers and this one is one of my favourites from the Sofiero collection, I distressed the edges of the paper another thing I love to do, these quality papers distress so well too,
I then added a little mixed media on top of the paper with a stencil from my stash and some grunge paste,

The central focus area is made up of some corrugated card stock roughly torn then I lightly added a hint of distress ink over the top, onto this I added the die cut hearts from a Doodled Heart die by Gummiapan, then I layered a Gummiapan Morpho butterfly stamp and a dotted feather stamp again by Gummiapan, these I stamped out with a versamark pad onto vellum then heat set some embossing powder over the top,

To keep in with the theme I then used the same embossing powder onto some kraft card stock for the Live, Laugh, Love words stamp set which again is by Gummiapan,

Here you have a close up of the stenciled wording too,

I finished my card off with some flowers buds and two of the lovely Antique luxury corners available from Swedish House Crafts too,
