For my lovely friend

Hi guys, just popping by with my inspiration post for
I'm really into making handmade flowers at the moment so I have made some to go with these gorgeous Lemoncraft paper - never ending summer/ Lazy everything using both sides,
I love this paper very much, it is also available as part of a paper pack, so I'm off to order some more !!!
I distressed the edges and raised the front up with foam pads, by doing this and you can easily add some embellishments on the side as I have done using the lovely Scrapiniec doily lace chipboards,
if you cut these down with scissors you get more for your money too, these I have lightly stained with distress ink first before gluing down with the fabulous magic glue,

To add interest to my flowers I took the base layer of a Royal Borders which comes in a set of two, these look fabulous put together but I had used one of the top pieces on my last project shown on my blog so I just coloured up the base again with distress ink, using  them this way looks beautiful too, and again you get two for the price of one,  lol
In between the flowers I added small hints of the mesh background also by Scrapiniec, these all go together beautifully,

Do check out these and all the latest gorgeous products Monika has in her store, including some gorgeous new chipboards,
Happy Crafting!!!

Welcome Summer

Is the theme we have this week over at
I have made this Ice cream cart, because who doesn't have ice cream in summer!!!, lol

I started out by making a box finished size (9.5cm long by 5cm deep), adding some Scrapiniec gears for the wheels, these I stippled white Gesso onto then some of the gorgeous resin pink flowers,
I used one of the gorgeous Pion  Design sheets Easter Greetings 6" x 6" Spring fairies which just goes to show you they don't only have to be used at Easter,
I made a canopy for the top, finished size (9.7cm long by 9cm deep, make centre 5.2cm wide) using one of the Damask straws cut into four pieces as posts to keep it up, then  made some little ice cream cones for on the front, then underneath on the base of the cart used one of the Scrapiniec Royal small decors, but I just used the top layer adding dots of liquid pearl here and there, ( the base of this chipboard I used on another card but that's for another day)!!
On the right hand side I added one of the hanging signs again by Scrapiniec, just adding some of the liquid pearl again and used some Tim Holtz idea-ology label letters stickers for the word,
You can just see inside the cart another of the resin roses too this time in white,
On the other side I added a gorgeous rose and some leaves using the leaf die by Magnolia,
I finished the top off with some of the beautiful flowers, and a lace doily cut down to add a corner detail, all links below,
I finished the front off with Tilda with cherry ice,  fussy cut out and then adhered near the front using 3D glue, coloured with distress inks, I then added some glossy accents on the cherries at the top,

Thank You Card

Hi guys, I'm here today to show you a Thank you card I have made for
Love to craft and create
using one of the gorgeous Lemoncraft papers from the Cotton Candy basic paper pad, so love the papers in this collection,
On the top of the paper I used the Inkspot Agertaria mask/stencil to add a little texture and interest, these masks are fabulous and such a good price!!

I also used a beautiful chipboard rectangle frame II by Anemone, this I have added a little vintage photo distress ink too, then adhered onto the card with the fabulous Magic glue,
I then added some natural fibres and my hand made flowers with gold stamens ,

A Touch Of Charm

Hi guys, over at
the theme we have this week is
A touch of charm,
I decided to make myself a book mark as I love to read and butterflies are one of my favourite things so of course I just had to use this gorgeous charm,

I used the beautiful Vintage Romance paper walk with me and she's my lady by Maja Design, these I have distressed with my distress tool and added a little white gesso too,
The sentiment is by Stempelglede and I added a touch of Veronique lace plus a hint of Juliane lace too, of course it has to be kept fairly flat so I Just die cut out a couple of Hellebores by Magnolia,
I used some of the fabulous seam binding for the bookmark and to add my charm too,
this has a little Gesso added to it too,
For the sake of these pictures I have taken them on my diary that I keep my DT lists in!!! lol
Do pop over and have a look at the awesome inspiration the DT girls do,

On your Anniversary

Hi guys, I'm back today for Love to craft and create with another Anniversary card, this time for my Sister and Brother-in-law, I have lots of Anniversary cards to make around this time of year, lol

They have been married 46 years on Sunday last, so I know she has seen this now, lol
The theme is Sapphire for that year so I based my card on blue,
I love these Lemoncraft forget me not papers - 04 and 05, these also come in pads of 6"x 6" or 12" x 12"  I used some of the 12" x 12"for the base of my card and also for the  Handmade flowers,

I layered up my top layer off the base with some 3D pads which Monika has in her shop and fixed the flowers together with the fabulous Magic glue, I so love this stuff!!!
I used a spellbinders card creator for the shape,
I also used magic glue  to adhere the gorgeous Scrapiniec chipboard border, see this is really  fabulous glue!!
I coloured  the chipboard lightly with some vintage photo distress ink before adhering to my card,

Do check out what Monika has in her fabulous online store,
Happy Crafting!!

A little Shabby Chic

Hi guys, I'm here today with my inspiration post for
The theme we have this week is You've been framed,
I must admit my mojo went on hols with me and I had to will it to come back, as it was  on holiday longer then me, lol
I just had to use this beautiful frame by Scrapiniec, I love their chipboards but then you probably already know that!! anyway this time i coated it with some white Gesso stippled on to add a little texture, when dry i added some pearl dots here and there too,
The gorgeous papers are the latest ones from Maja Design Vintage Romance, I love these papers as they can be used for other things other than romance and have done so quite a few times with them already,
To keep in with the shabby chic theme I used one of the butterflies from a Pion Design cut out sheet, onto which i used a Tim Holtz pen nib, stippled with white Gesso too, all links below!!
I also added some of the Gesso to the adorable flowers and Doo Hickey leaf die, then too finish off added some of the Estelle Lace peeking out,
Hope to catch up with you soon,
Happy Crafting!!
