Easter card with gift tags/ book marks

Hi guys, I am here today for my DT project for 

Love to craft and create

I decided to make a criss cross card using some of the lovely paper from the Craft and you design paper pads in both 12x12 and 6x6,

I used one of the gorgeous  Royal Easter Eggs -02 by Scrapiniec, I coloured the base of the egg with distress ink in dusty concord then adhered the front on with some of the fabulous magic glue,

I finished off the front of the card with some of the lush purple ribbon, some feathers, flowers from my stash and some die cut bunnies cut with my Cameo,

As you can see I made some removable tags/bookmarks for the inside using one of the 12 x 12 papers,

My Precious Daughter

Hi guys, it's my daughter Birthday soon and she loves purple so this gorgeous My Precious Daughter paper from Pion Design was perfect to use with this totally gorgeous Hetty  lace from The Ribbon Girl,

I decided to make a criss cross card with  removable insert,

Flirt Tilda by Magnolia is coloured with my distress re-inkers and markers, I added a little scraipt on the left hand side from the Postcard collection stamps by Stempelglede,

For the inside I used some more of the gorgeous lace and a stamp from Stempleglede

Just a note set,

I also added a Doo Hickey die cut - chicken wire die by Magnolia and a butterfly cut from Pion paper, the frame is by Noor, to finish of the lace I placed a few pearls here and there,

The secret Garden

Hi guys over at Tando Creative  we have an anything goes theme this week, so I fancied doing a canvas for it,

I started by painting the base with some colour bloom sprays, then added a little stamping on the top edge, over the top of this i added some of the leaf flourish chipboard,

I used the Irongate large as my main focal point and added some white gesso onto them, then a little script stamping then some crackle paste here and there too,

To make the rest of the scene I added some masking and a chipboard bird and branch too,

I also used  the stone mask to look like a stone wall at the side using some modeling paste,

Valentines love

Hi guys, just popping by with a quick post to show the card I made for hubby for Valentines, soppy eh?

The beautiful heart is by Scrapiniec and is a double layer, which you build up, the clock is by Dusty Attic and i left both of them in their natural colour just adding a mini pearl in the centre of the clock,

one red rose and a couple of hand cut hessian leaves finish it off,

The gorgeous paper came from love to craft and create and is called  the cricket on the hearth - 04,

Whoop Whoop!!

 Hopefully I should be back on Tuesday with my first post, but have you noticed my blog has been a little quiet, I had to have an operation on my face, with a few stitches and the darn thing has bled twice so it had left me quiet tired and I didn't want to put too much pressure on it either,

I had the stitches out yesterday though and all seems well !!!!

anyway back to my post, lol

Colour theme over at Tando Creative

Hi guys, back today with a canvas i have made for the Feb colour theme going on over at 

Tando Creative,

The picture made me think of rustic, old flaking paint buildings so I'm hoping this is what it looks like, the wall area I added a couple of small pieces of masking tape on the canvas then painted it with some acrylic fluid paint, then i took the tape away and it left a fab distressed look, the grid rectangles I coated with a layer of stippled texture sand paste to give a rough texture to look like stone,

The roof was made using a distressed sequin mask with modeling paste onto water colour paper then I painted over the top with some Paynes grey fluid acrylic, when dry I rough cut out the shape and fixed it onto the canvas with some 3D pads to give a little depth,

I painted the fence and the cogs with some of the fluid paint and a little tinting base added in various amounts to get the different colours, I added some crackle paste over the top of the fence and larger cog and some texture sand over the one in front,

I've made this to brighten up a dull wet day in my craft room, lol
