Hi guys, just thought I'd pop by with a creation I've just finished using lots of whites and textures,
I've had this light weight cardboard display thingy!! for ages it was on sale once for a quid, well i finally thought of something to use it for lol,
sorry a few pictures, so grab a cuppa lol
I started off by painting the whole thing with two coats of white gesso, while that dried I embossed the snowy backgrounds for my scene using a Cuttlebug snowflake folder, this I've had for years too,
I made the hills effect by cutting hill shapes from white cardstock then adding snowtex on the top,
The trees were a gift so I don't know who's the die is, these I added a little snowtex too
I cut some deers out of a Impression Obsession die and the large stag die out of a crafters companion Die'sire die, for a little interest I added ivory frantage to the antlers,
The Lamp is also a die cut can't remember who's sorry, and i added a little snowtex to that too then added glamour dust glitter glue on the top,
The flowers are from WOC, and Sweet Lilac,
The bird house die is by La la Land crafts I got it from Bunny Zoe's, the poinsettia die is by magnolia and thos was given the snowtex treatment too lol,
In the snow Ski Tilda was coloured with my copics then fussy cut out, the snow effect on her is made by Liquid applique, love this for snow balls!!!
I made the cottage from a die and after I had cut the main section I put it through another embossing folder to get the said effect, the roof I added glitter glue too,
the xmas tress behind this are a Memory Box die again these have been snowtexed, then I added another Memory Box die on the base of my wall hanging for a night effect,
TIlda and Santa have again been coloured with my copics then fussy cut out,
On the base here I also did a bit of stenciling with modeling paste using a Tim Holtz stencil,
Last but not least Is another scene using the same effect hills, the sleigh was a die cut my sister cut out for me thanks Ann, and I added snowtex on the sleighs and glitter higher up, Mini tilda was then adhered on top of it with 3D glue after colouring and cutting out,
The gorgeous trees on the right are by La La Land crafts and again have snowtex on them,
Thanks for looking,
