My Lovely Friends,

Use texture at We Do Doobadoo

Hi guys, when i saw the challenge we have for you this time at We Do Doobadoo I thought I would try a canvas, it's my first one so it was a little learning curve lol,
I started by adding a couple of strips of masking tape, the type used for covering things you don't want to get paint on when decorating and ruched it up a little to try to look a little like water effect, thanks Gabrielle for your inspiration hun xx
Next I used two DD stencils with grunge paste for texture and interest, the Burlap stencil 470.715.006 and the faded dots stencil 470.715.004, I also used a crafters workshop stencil too called - Mini art is, for the word effect,
For more background texture I used some cheesecloth here and there painted on with gesso,
I then sprayed my Prima Bloom sprays onto the canvas soft teal and Iris then added
the large wooden wheat piece I got from Bunny Zoe's, I used a couple of coatings of gesso on first then when dry added a script stamp from Stempelglede, I also did the same to a wooden fence I got from The Range which was two colours of pink when i bought it lol,

The gorgeous flowers are  from Sweet Lilac, the back ones were white and I sprayed them with some watered down chalk ink then added the other flowers on top and then a pearl in the center of those,

The waterlily flower I made using Fimo, you know the stuff you kneed, and shape then bake in the oven, for the stamens detail I used some Stickles glitter glue when they had cooled down, I stuck this onto my canvas with a glue gun, my daughter says it looks like china in real life he he,
The branches were made using a spellbinders  Cherry Blossoms die and I cut into a cardboard box into which my new Prima colour bloom sprays had just been delivered in, (so love these they are gorgeous colours and have a little sheen in real life), this gave a fab depth to the branches and something I will do  again, the nest I made using some burlap cloth then curled twine on top and added some air dry clay eggs into it, these I sprayed with one of the bloom sprays soft teal and added dots on with a pen when dry, again thanks Gabrielle,
the flowers on here are from Sweet Lilac too,
The paper art butterflies are by Dutch Doobadoo too and I added a few pearl drops made with liquid pearl onto the body and added a few gems for the tail,

well hope you can join us in the fun, remember you don't have to use DD products but if you have them we love to see them,
