Hi guys, I'm here today with our latest challenge over at We Do Doobadoo UK,
thanks for all your fab entries last time, we enjoyed looking at them and hope you will join in this time too,
the challenge is Lots of Layers with an optional - stencil it,
this is my take on the challenge,
I made this for my mums Birthday as she loves pink, the stenciling is made by using the burlap stencil 470.715.006 and some home made 3D paste, I love using the stencils this way but they are also great when you emboss them with your die cutting/ embossing machines too, I love the added texture these stencils give so go check them out and see what way you could use them too,
For the corner detail I've used the fabby Dutch Doobadoo honeycomb soft board, 478.007.001 so love this stuff and could use it on everything lol,
closer view of burlap stenciling and honeycomb soft board, on the top I have added a few flowers from stash and some of the gorgeous DD laser art paper leaves, 472.948.002, these I find very useful and they come in a few sizes for what you need,
Tilda is from the latest animals collection and is called sneaky Tilda, I think she's too cute to be sneaky and is just holding a pressie behind her back lol, I have coloured her with my copics and added liquid pearl and stickles glue on her too,
the papers are by Maga Design and are from the Sofiero collection and vintage spring basics I think! the edges of the papers have been distressed and I have layered two sections together with a spellbinders die cut for added detail in the corners,
Butterflies are made with a Martha Stewart mould and Delight Air Dry clay from Crafts and Me,
See these and more DD products and Polka Doodles
Do join us and remember you don't have to use Doobadoo products to enter though we would love to see them if you have any,
