Hi guys, just popping in again with another of the Aliah digi stamp from crafts and me that I love to colour with my copics, actually I love her coloured with my distress re-inkers too lol,
anyway enough of my waffle!
The gorgeous papers are Pion and were a fab candy from a lovely friend, thank you hun, I've cut out the shapes using a Go Kreate die then I've edged the edges with vintage photo distress ink then I've added aged ivory frantage as well, so loving this stuff like so many of you do too, I've also done the hearts at the side and will put a little tutorial at the end of how I did them,
As you can see I've used a little frantage on her flowers and left a few dots of it on her hair for the effect of blossom, if you don't like this effect you can remove it before heating,
The gorgeous cream lace at the bottom already had the pearls on, then I've added a large cream flower from my stash then added a beaded stem, and an ivory paper rose from The ribbon girl,
the key is also from them but I've frantaged this too,
I have had to do my short tutorial with a couple of pictures, so hope you will be able to follow it lol
you will need a embossing pad of some sort, ie versamark or perfect medium, mine is an emboss by tsukineko, but I've had it years and don't know if you can still get them!
pictured also are the Stampendous aged ivory frantage, long handled tweezers so you don't burn your fingers and the memory box die cuts I've used, one showing before and the other after,
I die cut my hearts out of kraft cardstock, then put my die onto my embossing pad direct
I've seen a fab tutorial by Tracy of crafteezzee and is well worth watching, but I thought I'd just show you on how I do the metal effect on cardstock,
when you have got the die embossed with the embossing pad add the frantage on the that side, I laid mine down on my craft mat then added the powder on top, this I then picked up with my long handled tweezers and heated from underneath to begin with as I find it raises it nicely, then I finished it off on the top,
if required you can then add another layer of emboss by going over with your pad again then adding more powder on the top and heating again, this causes a lovely metal effect which is nicely raised,
I hope you've been able to follow my short tutorial as I needed another pair of hands for the camera while I held my die and being on my own I didn't have a pair handy lol
