Poppies and Tulips

Hi guys, back today with my creations for
For a change I've just used die cuts
( what no Stamping) !!!!! phew!

Janet has a 10% sale on most Memory Box dies at the moment too,

the flowers are made up of Prim Poppy die and dancing Tulips, Janet has sold out of dancing Tulips but has the Tulip petals die which I've used on top in stock, These dies are fab!

I cut out the dies using two colours of card and layered them up with pinflair glue, when dry I edged them with star dust stickles,
I thought it would be lovely for a thank you card or get well,

second creation

This time I've layered up the prim poppy die, this time I used some paper behind my tag,(could do the same with a card) to show off the dramatic flower heads, I slightly curled back the top edges of the top layer for a little dimension,

I added pearls and the gorgeous white sheer lace ( ties Beautifully) and the May Arts lace, love adding smaller lace to my tags too adds texture and dimension, and finished off with a bit of distressing

Baby girl

Hi guys, my cousins daughter has just had a little girl, so of course I just had to make a card lol,
sorry there are a few pictures so grab a cuppa!

I've deliberately kept the colours soft for the new born and they loved it so that was good,
again I've used my distress re-inkers for my colouring and added a hint of glitter too,
as you can see there are a few Magnolia products on too lol,

The tag is a Bloomy Doo Hickey tag die and I've added a love script from a Magnolia stamp this is edged with Archival coffee ink, dabbed off once so it wasn't as strong, there is a name for this technique though I can't for the life of me think what it's called,

The banner is made with a  Magnolia Doo Hickey flag die and I've gone over the edges with liquid  Applique, I'm so running out of this stuff if any one knows who sells it please let me know,
her name is on too I think you can just see it,
The heart stamp is again by Magnolia and I wrote the text with a small stamp set I have in the same Archival ink,

To finish off lots of cheesecloth, a feather, distressing, pearls, lace, ribbon, charm, and flowers, phew!
Oh and white crackle paint too lol,

Summer time fun!

Well we would love to have summer time fun, on the beach or even outsider but it's pouring down with rain and freezing cold here, and it's supposed to be July!!!!
yesterday it was a little warmer though we had a horrid thunder storm and showers all day,
will some one please tell Mr Sun we would a visit from him any time soon lol,
Our challenge today over at

I wish! he he

I've altered a plain basics photo frame and used the  gel effect design in the centre, love this so squishy lol
I coloured my frame first with white acrylic paint then when that had dried added another layer with a hint of distress ink in antique linen for the sand and  tumbled glass for the sky,
my gel bag is made by using washing gel, you can use other stuff too, if you would be interested in a tutorial just let me know and I'll try to do one later,

my images are coloured with distress re-inkers  and I've sat Tilda on what I found out later is the sun!
so she's tanning her bum beautifully lol,
