My Lovely Friends,

Thursday, 2 December 2010

It's Thursday

So that means it's time for the  Colour create and Paperplay challenges,

Over at Colour create this time the colour scheme is
Grey, green  and white with the optional extra of Acetate or Silver, and was chosen by our lovely teamie Victoria who sadly has chosen to leave us,

We are being sponsored today by Michelles scrapbooking
and the lovely Michelle has kindly given two prizes this week,
and one of our lovely DT has been given  one of the new gorgeous images to use, which is being shown first on the Colour create blog here and which will be available soon, and also another fantastic  image that's available now, so take a peek! These gorgeous new  images are our prizes this time,

Challenges:
Lots to do ~ Embossing
Stamping,scrapping, ~ Christmas
DCD Christmas club ~ Use a die cut on your creation
Image is of course a gorgeous Magnolia, coloured with copics,
silver embossing on the corners and a little bit of silver ribbon finish to finish off,
thought I'd try the paper at an angle, what do you think?

Over at paper play the theme this time is Monochromatic and is chosen by our lovely Vera,
and our lovely sponsor is Whimsy,
we were lucky to be given some gorgeous images to show you to day and mine is called
 Little Christmas Angel,

Challenges:
Allsorts ~ Monochrome

I've kept this simple to show off the lovely image and because the postage costs are stupid!
In real life my bird is a different colour of blue from the Angel but of course the camera hasn't picked that up!
The sentiment stamp is a new one from Lily of the Valley, and I've glittered the Doo Hickey swirl for a hint of  sparkle, the background of the Angel is coloured with Chalk and the angel herself is done with copics and stickles glue,
My back's still sore and so I still can't sew the edges of my papers GRRRR!
We had a little snow yesterday, just enough to look wintery, I know some of you have too much so I hope your all ok and having fun!
