Hi peeps, do you ever have one of those days that turns into weeks lol, my mum phoned up and asked for a get well card for her neighbour, said no panic it will do for Friday, so no rush thinks I!, then she phones this morning just gone eight and says her neighbour had come home and was it ready, well thankfully I’d e-mailed Di from here for her fantastic image and thanks to her I’d got it quick, so I’d coloured it last night and decided what I was doing for it and was just cobbling it together when she rung, so this is another card in a row I’ve had to rush lol,
The image is called A special note from Bear but I thought it looked like he was holding the card from mum, he’s had an op for a new hip and mum wanted crutches on it, she doesn’t ask for much does she, so any way I looked on google and they all had broken legs, so not right at all, so I finally found just some crutches, cut them out and I hope Di doesn’t mind put them beside the image, my mum loved it so it worked all right in the end, he he,!
Challenges~ Papertake weekly~ sketch, Digital Tuesday~ Colouring with chalks,
I’ve coloured it in copics and then for the sky used chalk, I’d lost my cotton ball holder so I used a cotton bud, using swirly motions, as it’s for an elderly man I didn’t want to over board with to many embellies, Tim Holtz adage ticket, comuter generated sentiment,Papermania Hamstead papers,
I have coloured a few images in the last few days, hoping to get round to some card making, life keeps getting in the way, you know how it is but hopefully I’ll be back soon lol,
Wishing you a good day, have fun, hugs Liz xx

WOW LIz hes fab! i dont mind at all you adding the crutches its a great idea, in fact i dont mind what you do with the images use them like you would a stamp even cut it up. I have designed some of them so you dont have to use the fences or hedges etc and you can cut them out and sit them on something else.
My mum just had her 2nd new hip yesterday i'm off this afternoon to visit. All is well, but havent made a card for her yet, as none aloud anymore in the hospitals.
better get a move on though!
Fabulous card hun!

Hi Liz,
Ahh, this is sweet, love the idea with the crutch's, so nice of Di to ok it too, some don't like you to add other stuff, I find that very confusing when it comes to putting a card together...
Gorgeous job hun
