It’s been one of those weekends where I seem to have taken forever to do nothing and get nowhere, lol, any way not to give up I made a card for my mum’s birthday later this year, she’ll be eighty and though it may not be your conventional card for some one that age, it’s what I’ve decided to do for her and I think she’ll like it, very easy going my mum is bless her he he,
I’m entering this card into the following challenges, Just Magnolia~ A sketch, Magnolia Down Under~ Easel Card,
Quixotic Challenge~ Something for mum, Creative Belli~ Butterflies to celebrate spring, (mums birthday’s in April),
Stamp Something~ A touch of spring, flowers/ Butterflies, Crafty Angels~ Fantastic Flowers, Simon says stamp~ 3 types of embellishments, 2 patterned papers,1 Image,
Now just in case your thinking this isn’t an easel card, ta da!!
The image, papers and embellies have been coloured with distress inks, the flowers are Magnolia which I’ve highlighted some colour on a few petals, butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch, again I’ve used distress inks, L-EM Leaf punch, pearl strands~ Hobby Craft, Papers Magnolia and core’dinations card, stickles glitter glue, Fiskers border Punch,
I will add a sentiment later, something special I think, which I will put on Letraset,
Not bad with the type of day I’ve had lol, thanks for looking, hugs Liz xx
