Mr And Mrs

You know when you get an idea in your head and it just has to be heard, well this project was one, I've wanted to make a envelope card for ages and so I finally made one,

I made the envelope from a template on my Silhouette machine using some of the gorgeous papers by Stamperia from the Ceremony collection,
I added some 3D foam pads behind some of images to give a little added depth,

I love the BlooMar  Bride and Groom chipboard, so of course it had to be used, I then added another BlooMar chipboard Mr And Mrs Chipboard,

I finished off my envelope with some laces and some of my handmade Ecru  Foamiran flowers made with Lady E Design dies, Flower 001,

You may have noticed that a couple look different, they are made with the same dies, just created two different ways, I kept two of the flowers with smoother petals and the rest have a more crinkled look,

All were coloured the same way with versa Magic inks in Pixie Dust and Pink Petunia to blend in with the papers,

I love to trail my flower designs if I can so I made some smaller ones too,

The leaves are cut using a Lady E Design die 003 using Lemoncraft paper from the Leaves collection, I added a little distress ink here and there,

A Little Shabby Chic

Hi guys, I'm popping by today to show you another projects I've made using this time a gorgeous Resin flower embellishment, by Sarah from the Resin Embellishment shop included in Craft All Day I've coloured it to look like lavender,

So I had this MDF Cartwheel in my stash and think the Lavender embellishment went fabulous with it,

I coloured it with chalks,

To go with it, I made some handmade flowers out of Foamiran and paper ones,

So I made the Lavender effect flowers out of 0.6 lilac foamiran and a small punch,
the paper ones are made with watercolour paper and the colour is made with Versa colour Heliotrope, and Lady E Designs Flower 5 hydrangea die,

Mixed Media Deer With Foamiran Poinsettia's And Winter Leaves

I bought this MDF  Deer from The Works and decided to alter it in mixed media with my Foamiran flowers with Lady E Design dies,

I added some stenciling, and stencil paste, plus some crackle paint here and there on the Deer first, then went over the top when dry with some spray,

When all the pastes and sprays had dried I added some 0.6 Foamiran Poinsettia flowers on the Deer along with some of the Leaves which came in the same die set by Lady E Design Poinsettia and winter leaves dies,

I added some cones and cinnamon sticks as well,

Dream A Little Dream

Hi, I thought I|'d show you today a card I made using another of the gorgeous resin embellishments I got as GDT for Sarah Wright's All Day Crafting shop which has her Resin Embellishment shop included in it, she also sells on Face Book too,

This adorable resin Dresser just shouted out to me to be used with this digital stamp Love To Dance from All Dressed UP, I coloured her with my Copics then fussy cut her out,

I added a hint of Finnabair wax in old Silver onto the handles of the dresser, then left the rest as it came, I hot glued it in place on the card simply adding a small rose to tie in with the gorgeous papers I used by AB Studios, from the Enchanted Flowers collection,

I fussy cut some elements off their papers then added more flowers to tie it all in,

Do check out Sarah's fabulous Resin Embellishments, I've just got my next DT kit, but I've a few things left to show you from my last one yet, so watch this space, LOL

Peonies For You

I'm here today for my monthly post for Swedish House Crafts,
as you know I love Foamiran and making flowers with it, I decided this time to make a display of Peonies type flowers using Silk Foam,

I used two colours of the Silk Foam Pink and White, this is really easy to use and needs no heat from an iron etc, scrunching with your fingers only is enough to keep the petals in shape,

I used  the Lady E Design dies flower 002 for the flowers and leaves 002 for the Calyx's,

I used a medium sized foam ball for the centres of some of the flowers, simply cutting out a circle of the Silk foam, gluing it on top of the ball, then adding petals around the ball layering some of them onto the foam circle to give the appearance of  petals opening, I then added some larger petals around these simply gluing the petal at the base only, I mentioned I used white Silk Foam and on some I edged the petals with some Versa Colour ink in Magenta,

I tried to make the flowers look as individual as I could, by simply gluing some inner petals closed, with an open centre and some with a ruffled centre where I didn't use a foam ball at all,

For this type of flower head I took some of the smaller petals and after scrunching simply glued the petals around a piece of  floral wire, some of these I turned back on them selves too, this gives the look of the flower above,

I altered the amount of petals to the flowers to make them appear buds or fully bloomed as well,

I made some leaves with mid green 0.6 Foamiran and added a little colour on the leaves, these leaves are in the same die set, I then glued them onto a floral wire and inserted them here and there and in between the flowers,
I hope you will have a go at these flowers, they are quite fun to make and look gorgeous for a display,
