Beautiful Memories

Hi guys I'm here today hopefully as my internet keeps crashing!!!!! waiting for yet another modem so hope this solves it grrr!!!!
I have been saying for a few weeks I fancied attempting to do a scrap book page, well here is my first attempt ever!!!!!!! EEEKKKK

I have used a gorgeous photo Kay took of Tegan a few hours after she was born, I printed it onto matt photo paper but think I need so better quality stuff lol,
The gorgeous papers are of course Maja design  Sofiero collection and the clocks are from the Vintage Autumn Basics collection number XVI, sooooo love these papers I can't get enough of them he he,
the edges are distressed as usual and I tore the top left and curled the paper edges back, added some flowers and one of the fabby Prima Junkyard findings from Live and love crafts,
I added a little stitch effect stamping using a Lily of the Valley stamp too,
The clock design is made using some home made 3D texture paste and a crafters workshop stencil Mini travel time,
The beautiful Cheery Lynn flourishes I cut in two sizes and added a  butterfly made from Delight air dry clay from Crafts and Me,  which I made using a Martha Stewart mould,
The background is made by  adding a little Versa Magic chalk ink in Pink Petunia here and there, then layering some corrugated card board, strips of the papers, Tim Holtz film strip, Prima flowers, a charm and cheesecloth from my stash, pearl string from The Ribbon girl, Lace from Live and Love crafts and to soften off the strong colours on the flowers a little Picket Fence crackle paint,
At the bottom of the main focal point and lower left is another crafters workshop stencil called Art is,
I have made this for Kay, hope she will like it!!!

Embellish it!

Hi guys, I'm here today with my card for We do Dobadoo challenge UK, this time it's to embellish, we all like that don't we and remember you can enter even if you have no DD products,
My embellies this time are the cardboard stars,  paper art swirl corners and buttons, all these are fab, you can of course paint, distress, etc the card board shapes  and other embellies but I've kept the card quite plain  because my daughter wanted a card and as you know she doesn't do fussy lol,
the image is by Magnolia and is coloured with distress re-inkers, the star tag is a Doo Hickey die and the sentiment is by Lili of the Valley,
I hope you will join us as there is chance of winning some Dutch Doobadoo goodies and we also pick a top three too,

Distress challenge at Bunny Zoe's

Hi guys, we're back today with our challenge over at Bunny Zoe's and this time it was my turn to choose the  distressing theme, this can be distress inks or distressing paper or both of course,
As you can I've really distressed my papers lol, the background paper has been distressed with a Tim Holtz distress tool and the top layer I have scrunched down by adding a little water to make the paper softer to shape,
The bottom papers are again slightly wet with water and shaped by hand to form pleats, these too were slightly distressed on the edges,
I got my inspiration for doing this with my papers from the fabulously talented Gabrielle, so love her work
The Image is coloured with my copics,
I made the flowers out of some of the paper from the same pad and added a pearl in the middle, too finish off the card I added a few pearl hearts and a Doo Hickey die, all links below,
I also added a little texture with home made 3D paste and a DD stencil,
