Just Magnolia,

I’ve made this card using the pleating technique that just Magnolia would like us to use, you wouldn’t believe the fun I’ve had doing this as I do this sometimes at work though with fabric not card, lol

I think this stamp was supposed to be for Christmas but I thought it would do for any one who loves baking, cooking etc,and so it fit’s in with the challenge on Magnolia down under too, Items used;

I don’t think we are supposed to be getting the snow now that they said we should be getting today, but the sky sure is dark, makes you think of nice home baked things,but I’d rather craft lol,

Simon’s card

At last I can upload this card, I made it earlier but there was a chance my son could see it so it had to wait till today, yes he is 28 years old today, god that makes me feel old , it was snowing  when I had him too and my hubby never let’s me forget how he had to dig his way into the garage so he could come to me,

I’ve loosely followed the Kaboodle Doodle challenge sketch, but had to turn it and tweak it a bit, hope that’s ok girls, as you can guess he’s fishing mad and I’ve done so many fishing cards in the past it’s getting harder to know what to do lol,

Thank you snow,

Hi, it’s me again, because of the snow and having a cold as well, I’m able to craft a little bit more yipee, I’ve decided to have a change today from copics and Distress inks, your probably fed up of seeing them any way lol, so for today’s card I’ve chosen to play in three challenges,

Delightful sketch~ great Sketch,

Paperplay Challenges~ Precious metals,

ABC Challenge~ L is for Layers,

This sketch is lovely, I’ve turned it around as my image was too large and fancy edged the main image instead of doing a border,I’ve layered it on to some dots card and added some gorgeous paper as a border then layered a piece of ribbon with the sentiment on top of that,which of course you can see for yourself so why I explained all that I don’t know lol,…

…the flowers are done in gold leaf “how posh” and a nightmare to use I can tell you as it just wants to float about everywhere , I then added bits of spica glitter pen as well,I’m off now to tidy up the mess lol, thanks for looking,

Multi Challenge Card

Hi all, I’m sat here being able to do this because of the snow, it’s done loads of the stuff and lot’s of people can’t get to work me being one of them, still it’s a lovely excuse to craft lol,I’m entering my card for the following Challenges:

The Corrosive Challenge ~2 Favourite Embellishments,

I’ve followed the great sketch by Sketch and Stash, using my old paper flowers, brads,and hearts,and new Martha Stewart Punch,the pearl hearts were a freebie in a craft magazine years ago, and the brown glittery one is a button with the shank cut off,

Two of my favourite embellishments are brads and flowers, so this fits both,and I’ve distressed around the edges of the paper with Vintage Photo distress ink,

Does anyone know where to get some smooth, good quality  watercolour card from? I can’t get the Inks to flow  as good as I’d like so if anybody has any good ones to tell me about and where I can get it please let me know,as I’m really not happy with how this has coloured,

I think it’s just stopped snowing for the first time today, so hopefully the people at work will have chance to get home, thanks for looking and I hope where you are your all ok, and having fun xx

First card in the New Year

Hi all, hope you’ve all having a Fantastic New Year,and the snow is not being too much of a problem,we had to turn round yesterday because of it, as it was so thick and yet 20 minutes down the road there was none,

I’m entering my card in the following challenges:

This lovely stamp was a Christmas present from my sister, who knows I love Magnolia Tilda stamps and I’ve also used some new paper which is gorgeous and the picture doesn’t do it justice, this covers  three of the challenges  I hope lol ,and for the one stop challenge my paper has butterflies on it and it is also a shade of blue, it’s just a shame I had no copics near enough to the colours of it,
