Celebration Card

It’s raining cats and dogs outside today, slight exaggeration but you get my drift, so I’m in the mood for some Iris Folding which tied in nicely with the challenge from Creative Card Crew for a celebration Card

The  colours haven’t  come out very well, they look a lot darker than in real life but the lights so miserable today  I can’t seem to get a better one,

Xmas card

Good morning or I should say afternoon, gosh were is today going to, what with cleaning up and in between crafting I've not had my dinner yet and believe me it’s late for me!

For the Winter Wonderland Challenge the theme for this week is any thing sleigh-y, so as you can see I had just the stamp…

Doing a step card wasn’t the cleverest thing I’ve done seeing as I’m still mending my broken elbow, but it must be getting a bit better because there’s no way I could have held the ruler before, anyway enough of my twittering…

The snowflake should really be a brad that I’ve had in my stash for ages, so instead I put some polofilament  through it and hung it from behind the ribbon as a mock charm,

Anyway going for my lunch now as I’m starving,

For my card I followed the sketch by Martine at Basic Grey using the colours of Autumn which fitted in with the other challenges and of course a Penny Black stamp!!

Just Magnolia with Flowers

For this card you had to do hand done flowers so to keep in with my stamp I kept them fairly simple,

This is the first time I’ve coloured a girl  image  using Distress Inks and though I’m certainly not the best at it they were great fun to use and  i  will be using them again,
