use 3 or more different shapes, your base card counts as one,
we are kindly being sponsored by the fabby The Ribbon Girl, thanks girls,

It was my sisters Birthday yesterday and this is what I made for her,

The base card shape is made with a Go Kreate die, then I've added a square piece on top with a layer of cheesecloth in between to soften the look,
The doily shaped die in front of that is by Noor from Tracy's shop and I embossed it and added a little distress ink to it too,
The fabulous Saturated Canary stamp called Tilly is coloured with my copics then cut out using an oval die from Tattered Lace, the edges have a light hint of distress ink on too,
The Tilda tag die adds another shape, I think that makes 4 shapes lol,

Criss cross card for a change

Hi everyone,
the other day I bought some gorgeous papers from Scrap and Craft  and some gorgeous chip board pieces too and  I love them all, the papers have a little vintage feel to them and I have found their main site here too, but you know me I don't know if I do vintage so what do you think?
vintage or shabby chic!!!!

I decided to make a Criss Cross style card to show off the gorgeous  Lemon craft - House of Roses papers and because I've not made one for a while, the front has a label cut out from a labels 2 sheet, onto which I have stamped a sentiment stamp by Stempelglede, I also  added flowers from
Sweet Lilac and some liquid pearl dots,
The beautiful lace is from The Ribbon Girl and is Clementine ivory embroidered tulle lace,
and on the top left I added a chipboard butterfly from scrap and Craft which i have coloured with distress ink,

Closer view of front section,

The inside section is made using another of the beautiful papers from the pack,
I used another  Stempleglede stamp and some more liquid pearl dots, a butterfly from the label 2 sheet which I fussy cut out then used some spellbinders fancy tags dies at the top,

I also found some heart stamps from magnolia too and second stamped them above the image then added  little pearl dots and a postage style stamp by Stempleglede,
Papers are by Maja Design and I used a strip off one of them to wrap around the wooden spool as a banner,
I used gesso on the corrugated card board and made layers using doilies and cheesecloth too,
The gorgeous flowers are from Sweet Lilac, so love these!!!!
The removable tag has another sentiment stamp on by Stempleglede and i kept in the theme with the pearl dots,

Walking on Sunshine

Hi all, I'm here today because I've seen that the gorgeous stamps and Digi's of Tiddly Inks are having a DT call, well i do love the quirkiness and awesome cuteness of these stamps so thought I'd have a go,
I've used this time a clear stamp, though I love their digi's too, it's called Fairy Sunny Day clear stamp set and I have coloured her with my distress inks, they look fab coloured with crayons and copics too,

My papers are by maja design from a few different paper sets and I have distressed the edges with my distress tool and also edged them with distress ink,

I added a little glamour dust on  the flowers,
Decorative Flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts and  the beautiful lace is from The Ribbon Girl,
I  also used a border from one of the papers and rolled it onto a wooden spool I had in my stash,
The fab verse is one of two that comes with the stamp too,
full view again,

The Dt call is on till the 15th of January, check it out!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Hi everyone, hope you've all had a fab New Years eve and are beginning a brill New Year too,

I had a lovely message the other day from the lovely Valou, asking me if I'd like to be on the Magnolia Forever DT, of course I jumped at the chance, as you know I love my maggies lol,
So our first challenge of 2015 is

It's the Holiday! Happy New Year
and we are kindly being sponsored by Crafty Ribbons

I couldn't resist doing a party scene, where they are celebrating the New Year in,
Tilda with love potion and Edwin wants a hug are both coloured with my copics, then fussy cut out, a piece of acetate was fixed behind them for them to stand up too, Edwin's excited and jumping for joy, he he,
The clock is by Tando and i've coloured it with gesso, then when dry added a script stamp here and there, the streamers on the clock are the stems of some metal type flowers which have been twisted loosely round my pokey tool, I  quite like the effect,
The cog is a Dusty Attic chippie again painted with gesso, the clock hands were from a local shop,
The balloons have a print detail on them only it's not showing here and I added a little glamour dust for texture too, these I fixed onto some craft wire and stood them up with 3D glue,

The base card is a fancy fold so the clock would be at the back but in the right place, I just made a square folded  in half, then the top half I scored diagonally across from the top end to the crease, folded it down and it's done, the papers are one of  my favourites again by  Maja design, the clock face one is another fave by Magnolia,
The metal looking stars were in my stash from years ago,
Challenges
Magnolia Mania - Happy New Year
Totally Tilda - Anything goes
