Hi guys, I'm here today with my creation for
Paper Take weekly as the lovely Dawny asked me if I would love to join her team and of course I said yes, Thank you for asking me hun xx
The challenge is
Anything goes with an optional extra to make a gift or decoration for Christmas
and we are being sponsored by the fabulous Lily of the Valley
I've made a Christmas stocking, I've seen some gorgeous stockings in blog land and just had to have a go lol, I have made this for my mum lol,
I got the template off the internet and used Maja Design papers for it,
after cutting out the shapes and adding my paper I added lace around the stocking, I also added it on the stocking top which was a separate piece,
I machine sewed the pieces too and added a Noor crystal snowflake border die ( Tracy has a first challenge on her
Noor Design blog too) on the top then added a row of pearls on the top of that, the die cut has glamour dust on too,
The Stocking has a hanging hook to be able to hang it up if wanted, I made two separate tags for in the top too, using some of the papers,
I took this photo at this angle to get the detail in lol,
The poinsettia die is a Magnolia Doo hickey and it is shaped and glittered on the folds,
underneath the Poinsettia is a Marrakesh chippie by Dusty Attic, I have lightly added gesso and some pearls,
The Tiddlyinks image has been coloured with my copics then layered onto a
Noor Oval die, under this is a couple of strips of the Maja papers for a little added interest peeking out,
The wooden snowflakes have been painted then stained with distress ink, and a pearl added in the centre, the left one has some jingle bells and a snowman charm dangling on some twine, but typical their hiding in my picture!!!
The heel and toe are made of yet more Maja papers and I added one of the
Noor snowflakes off the border die to peek out, this has been glittered too,
Too finish it off I added some flowers from Sweet Lilac,
