Happy ever after

Hi guys, I've not been blogging this last week as I had some DT work to catch up with and then of course I'm looking after Tegan in the day, she's nine months now so needing less sleep!! lol

I made my card before my hols as my hubby asked me for a wedding card for a work mate giving me a days notice! fella's lol!

it fits in with our Paper play challenge which is Double delight,

use two of anything,

mine is of course the bride and groom!

sorry I've a few piccies!

I've used copics to colour my images this time,  then cut them out and layered them onto a Doo Hickey Peony flower die, these are layered onto acetate which I used as my base layer,

I also embossed a Magnolia stamp onto the acetate to make a fine border effect hopefully you can just make it out,

for the hints of glamour I used star dust stickles,

I kept the same colour scheme through out,

 For the inner section of the card  I used a  Inkido forever collection paper, love these, machine stitched the edges, then used a Magnolia heart stamp to finish off,

I love finishing my acetate cards off with Tulle which I tied at one end and added a couple of roses at the other to keep in with the colour theme too,

We're home!

Hi guys, we should be just back off hols, so I've scheduled this in case I'm caught up with things that need doing when you get back, you know the things lol,

I so love the large wooden button too,  onto which I've tied  a twine bow and fastened it on a vintage ribbon bow,

A little birdie told me

Hi guys, yeah we're on hols so this is again a scheduled post,

It's Saturday so time for my card for  The Stamp Basket,

this time I've used a gorgeous stamp from Whimsy called 

Lemon Pepper,

I bet she would be gorgeous also done all in various shades of lemon/yellow but that's for another day lol, this time I've coloured her to match in with the paper colours which is from the lovely Prima Meadowlark pad,

to fit in with the colours I used a distress ink pad to colour the craft works card base too,

Of course Lemon Pepper is coloured with my distress re-inkers to tie in with the colours,

Have you seen the cute little Whimsy sentiment stamp  they are so   adorable!

Pictures of the wedding and Tegan

Hi, just thought I'd share some pictures of the wedding we went to on Saturday,

the weather was fab, a little cool but the sun shone and the rain hid lol,

Here's Tegan with her mum and Dad and big brother!

And here in her pretty dress and shoes before we set off,

As you can see the sun shone  beautifully!

we all had a fab time, and Tegan was perfect, as good as gold from start to finish, which was Sunday morning! lol

I'm sure the head ache wasn't from  anything I'd drunk!!!!!!!!!! lol

Hi guys, I'm back with another scheduled post, as it's the day after the said wedding, see previous post lol

this time I'm here with my Addicted To Stamps challenge card,

the challenge is for black/white and one other colour,

I must confess this took me some time to get my head around  for quite a while lol,

We're away on hols this Friday and while we're away it's our thirty second wedding anniversary so I made this card for Jim, not to sure to be honest but I've been so busy this last few weeks it will have to do lol,

my other colour is sort of goldish/yellow

The main image is a Magnolia stamp and I've decoupaged the heart to make it stand out a little more,

the card shape was made with a Go Kreate die, and I've used a spellbinders die for the around the main image too,

the Magnolia Doo Hickey  Die cut on the left is a Christmas  Mistletoe one  but I coloured it with the yellow as to me it can be used for love as well, I also coloured my silver charm with my goldish copic pen to make that fit in too,

the flowers are an off white but typically on here look cream!

Dandelion girl

Hi guys, Don't dandelions grow well, in my garden they do anyway lol, hubby's for ever pulling them up but they always find there way back! lol

this is a  scheduled post  as we're at a wedding today, our daughter Kay is being a bridesmaid so we're in charge of Tegan! do I need say more lol,

For a change I've coloured her with copics and her dress is shaded though can you tell?

the beautiful papers are by Prima and I've made a couple of bows then layered them using two colours though again on here they don't really look much different!

Hopefully you can see better here the shading! I've used hints of glitter for the Dandelion puffs! is that what their called well they are to me he he!

Pink Princess Tilda for TT DT

Hi guys, 

well it's time for our Totally Tilda challenge and as my title says it's to use a 

Princess Tilda and she must be coloured with pink,

any Tilda with a crown or tiara will do,
I've used Princess Party Tilda

I've used distress re-inkers to colour my image and kept to the pink theme with papers by Magnolia too,

the edges are slightly distressed with my distress tool and white acrylic paint,

I've shaded the edge of my die cut with spun sugar distress ink too, how pink! lol

the lovely border is also by Magnolia and is one of the latest Doo Hickeys called Heart flower lace

Closer look at the flower detail and border die, as you can see I've edged my flowers and pins with a hint of white acrylic paint too and added some gorgeous lace I've had in my stash a  while, along with the cute little charm, 

All my papers are machine sewn too,

Someone special

Hi guys, it was my mums Birthday on Monday so I made her a card fitting in with our challenge over at Paper Play which is

Use a stamped image/sentiment plus pins and pearls,
Our fabby sponsor is Simon Says Stamp

I had a change and used my grand circle nesties and scalloped nesties to make this card shape, my mum loves lemons and greens so used those colours too,

both the images are cut out but I've decoupaged the bowl rim and the top flowers again, not that you can see this very well, should have taken a picture  from a different angle! lol

My images are done with my distress re-inkers, and I thought she looked cute with little pearls in her ears,

I added a row of pearls to the pot rim too, the flowers are from WOC and other, 

paper is by Basic Grey,

the gorgeous Spellbinders die cut is called  floral ovals, I added a hint of Distress ink to the edge,

The decoupaged flower heads have a hint of stickles on them too, I used the same papers to cut out two butterflies from my tonic punch and made a trail behind them with the stickles too,

The adorable gorgeous pins were a gift from a lovely friend, thanks hun I love these too,
