Hi guys, well it's time for another challenge over at 

Addicted to stamps

and our challenge this time is

Mothers day or a card for a woman

I've made my mums mothers day card as I'm  going to be a little busy later on with one thing or another

but more about that some time soon lol,

Thought I'd have a change from a square card and make a circle styled easel one instead, using a Marianne die I have,

the gorgeous Magnolia image was a lovely Birthday present from a lovely friend, thank hunny I love her,

papers are by magnolia and are machine sewn,

I thought I'd make it look as if she's sat on a pocket, as mums have pockets of love don't they, the heart die cut is a Magnolia Doo Hickey die and I've used a magnolia stamp on for the words, seam binding and a heart charm to finish it off,

the heart swirl flourish is again by Magnolia and the flowers are WOC and other,

Tilda is coloured with my copics, though I'm forgetting how to use them as I don't use them as much now,

the hearts have star dust stickles on for a hint of glitter lol

For the base I've used the same papers and also used a Doo Hickey tag die, the print is by computer, the butterfly is from some fabric I have,

here's my card for Totally Tilda where the challenge is 

In Stitches

Stitching real or faux can be used and of course Tilda, Edwins only allowed with Tilda for TT,

I've used another of the new Tildas from the latest stamp club, isn't she adorable, for a change she's coloured with copics and layered onto a circle nestie,

my stitching is done by machine, it used to sew clothes but now it only stitches cards lol,

Fun in the sun

Hi peeps, well what do you think of the new Blogger? takes a bit of getting used too but managed to post already so should be ok,!!! lol

this is my second post today, scroll down if you want to see my cards for The Stamp Basket GDT

I've made a card just for for fun, it was too late for some challenges as I've had one of those weeks this week and even now just had to take the dog to the vet as she appears to have hurt her back, just what we need and her too!

Saw these stamps on my blog rounds, at first I thought I'd not use them but when I saw them I loved them lol, they are of course by Magnolia and are from the latest stamp club so don't know their names yet,

they are coloured with my distress re-inkers though i don't know what's happened to Tildas face! a bit too much sun I think lol,

See what I mean!

Now Edwin's  used his sun cream, isn't he clever he he, don't know it's wise holding a star fish though! don't they sting! or is it me that's got it wrong!

Two for the price of one!

I'm back again with my Creations for 

The Stamp Basket

I've made two cards today using the same gorgeous Mimosa Hat stamp from Blidmalarna,

wow love her too,

for my first one  it's  more a modern shabby chic style, I think!

I've stamped her out twice and decoupaged her hat brim,top,right pig tail ribbon, flower and right shoe, these have been stuck on with pinflair glue for a little depth and height,

the main card shape is made using a grand nestie from spellbinders and the paper is 

Fiddlesticks by MME,

the finishing touches are a gorgeous Memory Box Arboscello tree, I use this quite a bit, and also a Magnolia Doo Hickey Peony Petal Die, to these I have added star dust stickles for a hint of glimmer,

the gorgeous ribbon is by Berisfords and is white satin  edge sheer, the pearls are ivory silk pearls from the hobby house,

Number two is a  more vintage style,I think lol,

I've used a craftworks card scalloped base card for this one but I've made a mock criss cross effect top, the lovely papers are by Prima from the Meadowlark pad,

the beautiful white satin edge ribbon has a few Hobby House Pearls on too,

the gorgeous  Memory Box Willow dragon fly die has clear gems for the tail and has star dust stickles on too,

Bildmalarna with mimosa hat is coloured with my distress re-inkers and I've added another pearl for the flower centre,

Animal Antics

Hi peeps, been so busy this weekend looking for an outfit to wear for a wedding, were we live a lot of clothes are based on casual so it's been a night mare trying to find something, still went to the Trafford centre and got some thing in the end, plus maybe a cold but that's another story ! lol

Juliet in the Fields

Hi guys, I'm back today with another card for 

The stamp Basket

this time I've used a gorgeous Stampavie image called

Juliet in the fields

she's coloured with my Distress re-inkers

The fabby papers are by Prima and called Song Bird

the beautiful ribbon is by Berisfords and is cream vintage, it's lovely to use too,

the large 5m Ivory silk pearls finish off the corners, and I've added hints of Star dust stickles to her flowers

the card is a scalloped edged one by craftwork cards

I machine sewed my edges and distressed them too, the flower die and fence are Magnolia Doo Hickeys,sentiment and doily from stash,

Bee Happy!

Hi guys, well the weather is still awful so I've done a sunny card to cheer myself up lol,

I've made my card following the fabby sketch over at Magnolia Down Under,

I've used a craft works card base for my main shape, added my paper then used Snow tex on the edges, I've had it a while and never used it so thought I'd try it but it was very dry and I don't know how wet /dry it was supposed to be lol,

my images are both from the  latest stamp club, gorgeous they are too and I've masked them together, they are coloured with my re-inkers again,

I've used the snow Tex for her wings too,

the text is made using small text stamps I have and I've stamped them on a Doo Hickey cloud die, then distressed this with my  distress ink pads, this too has the Snow Tex on,

I've used a hint of cheesecloth, a spell binders  labels tag and a  Doo Hickey Tag die in a pocket at the top, the gorgeous ribbon down the side was from a local market again,

the Prima flower has been distressed with my ink in the centre to keep in with the colour way,

I've used stickles glue in Stardust for the flower centre and the stamped flower too,

Wedding set!

Hi guys, well it's pouring down with rain for a change!!!,

we will need an ark at this rate! lol,

make a brew I've a few pictures! lol

I made these  for a wedding we're going to in May, where the bride loves Purple hence my colour scheme,

As you can see I've made a Wedding hat and matching card set,

the hat!

The papers are by Pion from Tracy at Dies to die for,and my images are all by Magnolia and coloured with distress re-inkers, I must admit I've changed my colouring style with these since I coloured them but hope the're ok,

I machine stitched the brim of the hat and made my own circle as I hadn't got a large enough die cut then! the flowers are from WOC and stash,

Kay's being her bridesmaid so I know she's having purple for her their dresses, 

This one is at the back and I've covered the join up with the same gorgeous heart lace, I got this from a market and I love it!

I wrapped a piece of cream tulle round the hat centre and tied it in a knot so the ends flowed slightly, hard work to get tulle to flow lol,

This is the other side of the hat, and you can see the pearl trim at the bottom of the hat that I also got from the same market,

the  Doo Hickey swirl is also by Magnolia and  I cut some of the butterflies off a scrap piece of the pion paper to match in and add some detail,

Top view of the hat, made using a circle nestie, again machine stitched, a couple of heart swirl magnolia dies on with pearls and flowers again, the scroll label is also by Magnolia and I added the text with some small alphabet stamps I have,

I wanted to bring as much of the elements into the card which is on the hat as I could, so I used acetate to show the papers off, the bride is wearing an ivory coloured dress, so this is why she's not in a white one lol,

again I've used the pearl trim for the bottom edge and  the same flowers and pearls etc,

It's hard work taking a picture through acetate as you always get a reflection from the glare,

I made a pocket style card for the back and again used a scroll to add their names, the same pearl trim is on here too,

the labels are made using a Doo Hickey tag die cut  three times and I've edged them in vintage photo,

This is the order I've put them in left to right,

This is left  blank for the hand written  sentiment 

And this just because cupid is about love after all, lol

Tilda's kitchen

Hi guys,

Well it's the Bank Holiday and it's freezing cold and dull, hubby's gone fishing with our son so it's a lovely craft day for me lol,

talking of which I've made a card with the Mid Week magnolia's theme in mind, which is
Homespun style

The images are coloured with my distress ink re-inkers,
the Molly Bloom stamp has a basket of Christmas baubles on the shelf so I masked this off and then masked the whole stamp with my Tilda stamp,

the papers are by Pion, love these!

The heart Tag is a Doo Hickey die by Magnolia, have I told you I love Magnolia stuff! lol and I've tied a bow in seam binding and attached a charm too,

The flowers are all from stash,

The Molly Bloom stamp had a frill at the bottom too so I cut around the hem line of Tilda's dress and put some tiny lace on to give a real lace trim, hope it's worked! lol

Hi guys, well winter is well and truly back with us, roll on summer lol,

today is the new challenge for

 Paper play 

and this time it's for 

A Shaped Card

our fabulous sponsor is

My card shape is made using a couple of the Grand Nestie circle dies, which I folded in half to make the card base,

the paper is by Magnolia as is the Footballer,

for a change he's coloured with my copics!

I made the Goal keepers net out of cheesecloth and the posts are a cut down  wooden skewer,

this is for a boy who's not into fussy or fancy so no more embellies thank you very much!!!
