Hi peeps, what you all up to? basking in the glorious sunshine or like here it’s gone cloudy but it’s still boiling hot, never thought I’d say this but do we need rain!! oh no who said that lol,

Challenges, Just Magnolia

I’ve made my card using the sketch by Bev over on Just Magnolia, using some gorgeous lace I got from Fleetwood Market the other week, it’s totally scrummy, I’ve also used Polychromo pencils for the first time with Sansador for blending, I haven’t got a lot of colours so the skin is done with Copics, I also need to badly restock on card hence the lack of it I'm afraid, I think it would have looked better with card around the papers, oh well hopefully for next time lol,

As you can see I’ve added lace under her apron too and added glamour dust to the apron for sparkle,

Papers are Pink Petticoat downloads, Magnolia glass bead spray, flowers,ribbon and  pearl brads from stash,

Wow you can actually see the glitter, I’ve changed my settings on my camera and took some advice off Mandy for better pictures thanks hun,

Hi peeps, how’s the weather were you are, over here it’s gone dull again, still warm but not exactly baking, lol I made this card last night for the Magnolia’s stamp challenge, which is to use blue red and white, I have used pale blue and hope that count’s ,this gorgeous Tilda is one of the new range and isn’t she gorgeous, mind you I do so love my Tilda’s,

I did manage to take this picture this morning while the sun peeked out for a minute lol, Tilda is coloured with Copics, and she’s got glamour dust on her apron and Glossy accents on her shoes, but again you can’t tell that, if any body knows how to make this show please tell me!!

The flower is hand made using a double sided card stock, and the sentiment is a Rachelle Ann Miller stamp, other items are red ribbon from stash, Magnolia stars paper, Red dots is a download, and flower card is BoBunny a gift of love, it’s Christmas card actually but I don’t think you can tell, can you? blue pearls, stash, heart charm stash, papermania card stock,

Hi peeps, I thought I’d make a card using Di’s lovely Digi image gardening Kitty from here , as you know I’m on her DT and so get to have full use of these gorgeous images to play with and they are such a joy to use let me tell you!!

I’m entering this into Totally Gorjuss challenge~ Sugar and Spice and using the sketch from Sketch Saturday challenge,

I have coloured the image using Copics, mounted the main image up from the scalloped circle for a little dimension and done the same for the sentiment, I have used Pearl acrylic paint for the edges of the papers and frames,

I have sorted out my template problem  yes, and I’m back to my lovely minima stretch and this is where I’m staying thank you very much, now just hopes this loads ok and were laughing, my advice is unless you really like the look of the new templates DON’T BOTHER !!!!!

A Summer Wedding,

I’ve decided to edit this  as a warning of WHAT NOT TO DO LOL!!!! as the more I look at it the more I wish I hadn’t put it on here, should have got new glasses I think lol, ah well we live and learn hopefully!!

Hi Peeps, is it nice where you are it’s gone cold, windy and dull here, I’m not impressed lol, oh well good crafting weather any way, I decided to do the challenge for Copic Creations which is to use Copics on other paper well I chose Pearlised card but I don’t think it looks to good on camera as the colours don’t look to have blended very well, it does look better in RL honest or else I’d have chucked it, the colours have been altered slightly too so maybe the wisdom is don’t do as I do do as I say, which is don’t do it lol,

Challenges: Just Magnolia~ Garden,   Copic Creations~ Other paper,  Fun with Shapes and more~ Flowery,   Whoopsi Daisy~ Ribbons and Bows,    By the Cute and Girly~ Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue,

The card is made using Magnolia’s bride and groom set and Flower Arch, coloured with Copics, I have also used Magnolia’s paper, I’ve edged the textured card and the Magnolia paper with Vintage Distress inks, added liquid Pearls in pale blue and pale pink and stickles glue on the flowers in the image and on the side roses, which typically you can’t see,

The card is made up of layers by using foam pads and Tilda and Edwin are also raised up on foam pads,

Roses from stash, pearl stem Hobbycraft, L-EM leaf punch, Ribbon given to me, pearl hearts frebbie from craft mag years ago,  Martha Stewart Butterfly punch, Glamour Dust,

I hope this goes on my blog ok as it’s the first time I’ve downloaded a picture since changing my blog Templete and to be honest I don’t trust it lol,

I’ve also used my new signature which I got from Whimsy stamps, I love it, I also got the one for the end of my posts but can’t get rid of the Black box so if anyone knows how to do this please tell me, hugs Liz xx

1st DT card for Colour Create,

Hi peeps, just letting you know what a great colour challenge we’ve got lined up for you, we are being sponsored this week by Wink Wink Inc, and  my fellow team mates have done some fantastic creations using such fabulous colours they are amazing so be sure you go and check them out,  

The Lovely Karen has chosen the theme this time and that is to use white card and to  pick any two colours from the picture and the optional extra is to use an element such as Satin, Flowers, Gems, Charms, Pins etc, as you can see there is plenty to chose from,

My card has been coloured with Distress inks, and I’ve used Magnolias pirate stamps, I downloaded a Treasure  map off clip art and scrunched it up for added age effect and then coloured it also with my Distress inks, my little charm was hand made also, using an old necklace for the chain, acetate and text paper which I Distressed too,

In the Pink

Hi Peeps, been a bit busy so just trying to put a card on my blog while I have a min, it’s raining buckets outside again, It is supposed to be summer isn’t it? any way enough of my babbling like I said I’m busy lol, this is another card for my neighbour who asked for a couple of special ones, and I hope this fits the bill,

I’ve had a change and coloured in Distress inks as I seem to have done a lot of copic colouring lately, the flowers were some more I got on my trip to Fleetwood the other day, the pearl string I got on my hols and I wish I’d bought more although it’s hard work to keep in place,lol, I’ve also distressed around the edges with my scissors and edged the main image with brushed corduroy distress ink,

Hi peeps, yes I’m back lol, Jim’s finally gone back to work and my mums on a trip so I have managed to do some crafting  yipee, I’ve been doing another one for my neighbour who asked for a couple of special ones as well so this is one and I will put another one on in a few days, with maybe some news as well!!! mm that’s got you thinking lol!!!, any way onto my card he he,

                             

I’ve used a gorgeous Lily of the Valley stamp, which I love using and I have also copied their sketch for this week too, I tried to be clever and make my own spritz out of Cosmic Shimmer powders and water, well it worked great for this card but when I tried to use it later it clogged up and won’t work so who’s no so clever after all lol, I sewed my papers and distressed them too, I love this effect,

Can you see the sparkle it is there I promise, shines like mad in RL, it just doesn’t want to look good on here, it just looks like dirty specks on the main image lol, go on look closely!!!

Wishing you well

Hi peeps, do you ever have one of those days that turns into weeks lol, my mum phoned up and asked for a get well card for her neighbour, said no panic it will do for Friday, so no rush thinks I!, then she phones this morning just gone eight and says her neighbour had come home and was it ready, well thankfully I’d e-mailed Di from here for her fantastic image and thanks to her I’d got it quick, so I’d coloured it last night and decided what I was doing for it and was just cobbling it together when she rung, so this is another card in a row I’ve had to rush lol,

The image is called A special note from Bear but I thought it looked like he was holding the card from mum, he’s had an op for a new hip and mum wanted crutches on it, she doesn’t ask for much does she, so any way I looked on google and they all had broken legs, so not right at all, so I finally  found just some crutches, cut them out and I hope Di doesn’t mind put them beside the image, my mum loved it so it worked all right in the end, he he,!

I’ve coloured it in copics and then for the sky used chalk, I’d lost my cotton ball holder so I used a cotton bud, using swirly motions, as it’s for an elderly man I didn’t want to over board with to many embellies, Tim Holtz adage ticket, comuter generated sentiment,Papermania Hamstead papers,

I have coloured a few images in the last few days, hoping to get round to some card making, life keeps getting in the way, you know how it is but hopefully I’ll be back soon lol,

Someone Special

Hi peeps, this is the card for my son in law I said I would be putting on my blog, now don’t get all excited I had to do it in a rush because we had been on hols and I had to do it fast when I got back lol, silly me should have done it before I went I know!!!!! if Mandy reads this she will say typical lol,

I have used one of Mo Mannings digi images because he’s a X box fan but the image had crisps and drink cans round him so I’ve cut them off, I do hope Mo won’t mind but as he’s a little older I thought it seemed to age the image a little too, anyway I’ve heard from him to say he loves it so it must have worked lol,

Can you tell I was in a rush as my pictures not in the centre when I’ve cropped it!!!! I’ve kept it fairly plain seeing as it’s for a man didn’t think he’d appreciate lace and flowers and for a laugh I even put on a wedding ring on his finger which he has too ,

I picked you some Flowers

Hi peeps, gosh aren’t we having some gorgeous weather, really hot although it did rain here last night just after tea well bucketed down actually just as Jim said he was going fishing!!! he loves to fish but not in the rain, a fair weather type of fisherman he is lol, any way it soon went so off he went and I finally got round to some crafting phew!!! about time too lol,

I have made this card using a gorgeous Digi from Di’s Digis image called as my title I picked you some flowers, isn’t it beautiful and so easy to print and colour, I got the lovely lace from Fleetwood Market a real bargain too and a few others which will you see lol, my next door neighbour has asked me for some cards and this one will be one of them so I’ve kept the flowers quite flat so they will post if she wants to,

A bit of news

Hi Peeps, I am so excited as I have been asked to be on the DT for Colour Create Challenge, I am so honoured to have been asked and hope I will do justice for the rest of the fantastic team,

Wow it’s hot today and Jim’s still off so we have been out and about to an odd craft shop or two lol, well a girl has to do what what a girl has to do !!!!!,

I have made a card for my son in law but cant put it on my blog yet in case he see’s it, but I will in a couple of days, Oh I bet you can’t wait lol,
