I have had a brayer for more years than I like to think and have always said I’d get round to having a go, and yesterday was that day, so for a first attempt I’m quite pleased with it, actually it was a lot of fun and will definitely do something else, Items Used,
Speedball Brayer,
Various dye ink’s
Magnolia stamp,
Tree stamp, Do crafts Duo,
With Love stamp~Freebie with magazine
White Inkssentials pen
Stardust Gel Pen
I began by doing the top of the card with a multi ink pad as it was the only one I had it’s left slight marks as they where in individual strips of colour, having said that it makes it a little interesting( well that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it) then I did the bottom colour by turning the paper and rolled across,I then stamped on the tree and highlighted with the pen, used a small star stamp and inked with a silver pad randomly over the top half and added a small moon from a set of polar bear stamps I’ve a while,
I coloured my Magnolia image with copics and then cut them out (very hard near their skates) and glued it down, then coloured in the hearts on the sentiment stamp to match her trims,
I’ve got a horrible tooth ache today from a partially erupted wisdom tooth, so I’m on antibiotics Hope they start to work soon,
Hugs Liz xx
The lovely Wendy had this lovely sketch on her blog for you to download, so I decided to make a step card with it,

I think I’ll have a change next and do something other than Christmas, hope your all ok and having a good day,
Hugs Liz xx

As I’m still in the mood for doing Christmas cards, which for me is unbelievable as I usually do them at the last minute! I thought I’d do Nat’s lovely sketch over on Penny Black,
The Image is a transparent PB of course, which I’ve coloured in Distress Inks, the baubles have had Glossy Accents put on to give them shine and depth, don’t know if that really shows or not, the background papers are a mixture of free papers from a craft magazine and some downloaded paper from Shabby Princess which was free,I think the ribbon is Dovecraft and the sentiment is another freebie,
Hope your all having a good weekend, thanks for looking, by the way do you prefer the “Items Used” list like I usually do, or like this, your Ideas would be welcome xx
Hugs Liz xx

Good morning or I should say afternoon, gosh were is today going to, what with cleaning up and in between crafting I've not had my dinner yet and believe me it’s late for me!
For the Winter Wonderland Challenge the theme for this week is any thing sleigh-y, so as you can see I had just the stamp…
Doing a step card wasn’t the cleverest thing I’ve done seeing as I’m still mending my broken elbow, but it must be getting a bit better because there’s no way I could have held the ruler before, anyway enough of my twittering…
Items Used
Penny Black Stamp,
Copics,
Stickles and Glamour Dust,
Snowflake brad,
Various Background Papers from stash,
Anita’s Ribbon from stash,
The snowflake should really be a brad that I’ve had in my stash for ages, so instead I put some polofilament through it and hung it from behind the ribbon as a mock charm,
Anyway going for my lunch now as I’m starving,
Thanks for looking, Hugs Liz xx
