Pink,grey and a hint of black

I'm having one of those day's today when everything is hard work, you know those days, I stamped the tag, cut it out, made a hole then discovered I'd only a bright pink eyelet, then I added some black thread and just as I was sticking it too the card it came undone at the last minute so you'll have to imagine some lovely black thread in there as I tried to put some in and the tag just want's to rip, so it can RIP and I'll leave it alone lol, Items used magnolia stamps copics eyelets Pink paper from craft show ages ago Pink acetate Black papermania adhesive pearl Sorry for the blurry picture, yet another thing going wrong today lol, Hugs Liz x

Baby card

My cousins daughter has just had a baby boy today, so I just had to make them a card! Items used Whiff of joy stamp Circle nestie Scalloped circle nestie Martha stewart punch Bear stamp~My craft studio bow and ribbon~ stash Had a little break for a few days,as hubby had a few days off work so we've been out and about,I went to doc's today he's signed me off for two more weeks so I'll be back crafting soon, Thanks for looking, Hugs Liz x

Missing followers

Has anyone else noticed we seem to have lost our followers, I've checked a couple of other blogs and their followers have disappeared too, have they gone into cyber space do you think? if any body has any answers please let me know...

penny black pearls and lace

Penny black challenge this week is for lace and pearls, well I immediately thought anniversary card, so here it is, I've had a change today and coloured my image with distress inks, as well as the background of the image and the edge of the bp, I'm quite pleased with result and will do more cards using them, List of Items Used Penny Black stamp( sorry don't know what it's called) Pearl hearts Papers from freebie downloads lace from an old underskirt( should I own up to that !!) card - papermania textured Martha Stewart punch I've borrowed one of great ideas for the punch detail, as I think it looks really good, so thanks very much Tab x Thanks for visiting Hugs Liz x

 The sketch for this week at Just Magnolia is by Bev, and I really enjoyed doing it, although afterwards my computer played up and so I’ve had to put this on my blog a different way, do you like it? let me know who know’s I might do it like this from now on lol,

Sketch and Stash 19

Pink and white+1

I've just recieved my first Anya's, their gorgeous, for this challenge you have to use the colours pink,white and another colour, I had this grey background paper and thought it could do as a christmas card, or a winter birthday card , she's coloured with copics and her muff and top of her boots are glamour dust, so glitzy that stuff, Thanks for looking, Hugs Liz x

Guest designer,for copic colour challenge 31

This is my entry I did for Guest Designer copic colour challenge 31 Adele's choice , I had alot of fun doing this card, and yes it was raining at the time lol , the bp are my minds eye Bloom and Grow,which went perfectly with colours of the challenge, which are YR68, G94, Y38 Hope you enjoy doing the challenge and thanks for taking a look x Hugs Liz x

Challenge 24

Stampacular Sunday Challenge 24 My brother-in-laws birthday is this month, and as you know fella's are hard to make for, especially if their not into sport etc, so I've done this card for him, the image is penny black,and the gorgeous bp is Laundry Line,by My Minds Eye, It's slightly glittered, but not too much, so I used silver Mirri to compliment it. I'd lost my mojo for the last few days, but hopefully I'm back on track now and will be back with another card soon x Thanks for looking

Just magnolia with embossing

For this card I embossed the rose at the bottom right, it tied in well with the image , she's coloured in copics and her wings are a gold spica pen, I coloured the rose at the top with two shades of copic pens and did the embelishment at the top right the same, but I also added to this cosmic shimmer mist in gold, the leaves are a punch I have, but thought they matched the bp well x Hugs Liz x

ABC challenge D is for Die-cuts

I've made this card for a girl who's in labour as I do this, so at least she shouldn't see it lol, the colours are very soft so they haven't really come out on the camera very good, I think Imight as well enter it for the challenge even though it doesn't look one of the best I've ever photographed x Hugs Liz x

Whiff of joy orange and Teal

For the Whiff of Joy challenge, you have to use the colours of teal and orange, I didn't really have any papers to make a card ,so thought I'd make myself a cover for my notebook, I didn't want to make it too raised up so there's only the flowers at the top overly 3d as the butterfly's could go flat if needed,it's coloured with copics, tried to get a few highlights but they don't show much on the picture, the bp is a frebbie download and the butterflies are a Martha Stewart Punch,the letters were cut using die cuts.

Iv'e also decided to enter this into the Guest DT call which Katharina's holding, which is open till the 19th September at 8pm, you need to go to her blog if you haven't already done so, enter your cards or creations, you can do as many as you like, so good luck x

Mina's sketch week 21

Oh no another xmas card, I really need to do something else, having said that it's what's needed lol, the bp are from a new paper range santa's on his way from Forever Friends, Iv'e done Bev's great idea for the nestie's, the image is coloured in copics, as usual and I've done her wings in a stardust clear gelly roll pen, it's the first time I've used it and it's brill!! the bobble and fur trim on her boots I did with white flower soft, Phew if your still reading this thanks for your time, hugs Liz xx

OOps just realised I forgot to add extra paper at the back, honestly if I had a brain I'd be dangerous lol x

I'm Back...

I went to the fracture clinic yesterday, the doc said I'm doing really well, got a lot of movement in my arm, so I have to use it for light duties, and of course he just had to mean making cards! not dusting etc lol, so I will be back later today hopefully x

copic colour challenge 29

I got these cute images free with a craft magazine and couldn't resist making a card using the copic colours for this weeks challenge, although I hadn't got the precise colours I used my nearest ones, (hopefully) the holly background paper is from forever friends christmas glow pack and the circular sentiment was another freebie from a magazine, which I then mounted on to a nestie die cut. whiff of Joy challenge 46

The wiff of Joy challenge is using a lovely sketch from Bev, I have used copics for her hair and skin but used distress inks for the rest, I've only got a small amount of colours, but loved the way you can distress the edge of the card to get a lovely soft image, it's a shame you can't do something with copics other than use a spray gun. Papers were from various CD's I have (must check these more often as there is some nice stuff on some,). Oh well I'd better go got to see to the dog ,lol .... She's not sat cross legged honest.
