Challlenge 18 Kathy's Sketch

For this challenge you had to use buttons, these flower buttons matched the design perfectly and all I did was colour them with my copics to tie in with my design. I used acetate for the main card and cut a slit,for the background card to slide through (thought it was a good idea at the time, but what a lot of hard work getting it all lined up ) my colouring isn't up to scratch on this card because(daft me ) fell over the other day, banging my knee and arm badly bruising both, not recommended I can tell you! anyway hopefully all will be back to normal soon (what evers normal for me at any rate, lol) Hugs Liz x

Penny Black week 64 Christmas

I've made this card for christmas using a stamp i've had a while, but isn't he cute? The background is a download that I printed onto vellum the snowman is coloured with copics and his hat is trimmed with glamour dust, the snow is done with white flower soft mixed with a little glamour dust as well. I tore paper to create the hills and edged them with my copics just to define the edges and cut out my image and mounted him on foam pads, no flowers etc as it's going to a fella. Hugs Liz x

penny black week 63 stitching

For this challenge you had to use stitching on you cards etc, so the beads are hand sewn on and i've done back stitch on the stems, took ages i'll tell you, then on to my sewing machine to do the edges, what a performance talk about wonky stitching, you'd never think i sewed for a living would you, my excuse is i use an industrial one at work [very fast] so not used to going slow on my litttle cutie at home lol. All for now got a sore back from all that sewing he he Hugs Liz x

Week 19 Rach's sketch for Just Magnolia

Another fab sketch by Rach, the bp are a download and the flowers started off white and blue so I coloured them with my copics as I hadn't really anything else that went [why is it you never just have the right thing, at the right time ] lol or is that just me. Whiff of Joy challenge 44

Rach's sketch is the challenge for wiff of joy this week and wow what a nice sketch it is, the colours on my image don't look like they match the bp but they do honestly, I layered her bow on her head by stamping another layer then stuck it down on top, I didnt want it to be too stuck up, so I didn't use sticky pads although I did use them to raise the main oblong image of the girl, to give the card some depth.

This card is for the sugar bowl challenge, using Judy's sketch and where you had to use handmade flowers ,i made mine using a punch from my stash that went with the bp.

This card is for the penny Black challenge, which is to use the colours of blue cream and tan, iv'e coloured it mainly in copics, but for the icing i had to use a felt pen as i had no cream. The stamp is from a transparent set called critter party.
