Hi guys, wow it's December already, were has this year gone!!!
anyway it's time for another challenge over at
Paper Take Weekly and this time it's
Anything Goes with optional extra - Make a gift for Christmas, we are kindly being sponsored by LOTV
I got a plain wreath from The Range and decorated it with silver ribbon and Burlap cloth cut down into strips and tied into bows,
I made some flowers using Doo Hickeys and glittered them up with some glitter by Pin Flair which is quite chunky, i took some Styrofoam balls and painted them with white gesso then added some glitter and embossing powder on to them,
The deer are a Tim Holtz deer die and i cut them out of kraft card stock and then some Maja design paper, I edged them with walnut stain distress ink too,
To finish it off i used some pine cones, feathers, cinnamon sticks, hemp twine, vax cord, A Metal rusty star and a couple of different leaf die cuts,
Have Fun and happy Crafting!!

A beautiful wreath and love the icy effect. Stunning. Hugs, Carol S.xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning wreath Liz! Wow, I just love the ivory and neutral palette, so soft and dreamy! The music notes on the reindeer are a wonderful detail and I love all the glitter! Thank you so much for joining us at Anything But Cute for our 'It's Ornamental' challenge! Hugs, Pamellia DT :)
ReplyDeleteLiz, wow! What a lovely shabby and rustic wreath you have made! I love that Tim Holtz deer die, and how clever to use those beautiful papers for them! Your poinsettias are so festive and a great contrast to the rough burlap and vines of the wreath. Just gorgeous! Thank you for joining our It's Ornamental challenge at Anything But Cute. Hugs!
