Hi guys, I've still got my cough and sore throat but at least my headaches gone lol,

Today's the day for a new challenge over at

Totally Tilda

and this time it's

VALENTINES WITH A COLOUR COMBO OF

RED AND PINK TOGETHER,

I thought I'd use my tag template again and of course the gorgeous Sissix weathered clock die from Tim Holtz,

my image is a older Tilda called right through my heart and it came from Simon says Stamp, fab service by the way, I just love her as she's so easy to colour, though I must admit I coloured her when I hadn't used my distress inks for a long time,
as you know I don't like leaving a border around my cut out stamps so for the bow string I added a little raffia instead, the arrow is a Tim Holtz spinner,

Paper is by Magnolia the heart die cuts are by Marianne,
the gorgeous mistletoe die is a Magnolia Doo Hickey and I thought why only use it for Christmas when it's usually for love!
flowers, pearls, ribbon stash,
my usual hint of grunge is on here too, not too many embellies on this one lol,

Tilda's having a party!

Hi guys, gosh is it Thursday already! how the time flies lol,

of course that means it's a new challenge over at

Paper Play and this week we want

lovely Lace,

Now as you know I'm into my distress inks at the moment and I usually use the pads, well me being me had to try the re-inkers too, usually when I see gorgeous creations done with the re-inkers I think the colours look deeper more vibrant, so guess which is done in re-inkers! I will let you know at the end of the post lol,

any way for the other stuff I have made my stepper card making my own steps on my usual square base card as you know I do, only this time I've done two steps,

I've used a Doo Hickey fence die and flowers on the front row along with a Marianne die to create the centre flowers, the Doo Hickey heart swirl die is by Magnolia too, butterfly punch wood ware, and a lace butterfly which I cut out of a lace strip I bought from a market,
Tilda with balloon is from the You are so Special 2011 collection and I have used craft wire for the balloon string,

the inner step has more of the white rose lace, and yet more of my hand made flowers too, this time I've used a Doo Hickey grass die and I've sat Tilda with Ponytail from the Sweet Rainbow collection on one of the flowers,

For the main card I masked Tilda with big ribbon onto the Romantic window stamp, both are from the You are so special collection and cut out the shape with my new postage stamp nestie die cut,

there is another type of lace strip down the side again from the market,

the papers are also by Magnolia and are machine sewn, doily stash and a Doo Hickey cloud die has been used with a Stampavie sentiment stamped on,

Aw well she looks like she is doing,

this is becoming my favourite Tilda! I love her she's so esay to colour and I love her hair lol,

maybe because it's so not like mine he he,

It's a quick post as Tegan is asleep so I thought I'd put it on now rather than tonight,

Over at Magnolia down under the challenge is your flag colours, well ours are red white and blue,

Tilda with love letter is coloured with distress inks again, and has my usual grunge on too,

I've made my hand made tag envelope again, loving these and again I have edged it with glitter,

Flowers are a mixture of market and stash and I have painted these with crackle paint,

the pin was a gift thanks hun, and the heart swirl is a Doo Hickey,

The gorgeous butterfly is Pion paper and I've used a Tim Holtz Ideology pen nib on it too, this has again been distressed,

Closer look of the removable tag, the swirl is a Magnolia stamp, the tag is a Doo Hickey Bloomy Tag die,

Ah, me too lol,

isn't she adorable, I just love this Tilda with Koala,

Our theme this time over at Addicted to stamps is for

Summer in Winter

well I thought gorgeous soft colours, flowers and this Tilda because now in Australia it's summer lol,

my brain works in mysterious ways!

Tilda is yet again coloured with my distress inks only using lighter tones this time and it is layered onto a nestie oval and oval scallop then onto labels 18,

the lovely sentiment stamp is from

The pretty little Ribbon shop and is a catslife press one,
I also got the gorgeous doily from there too,

my flowers are from a local market and the key is made with a quickcutz die,

the heart is my favourite Marianne die too,

paper are gorgeous and are by Pion, I so want some more,

my banner is made using Doo Hickey flag dies and a small Hero Arts alphabet set I've had years,

this card is also on the Totally Tilda challenge blog site too as we are in our second week where the challenge is to use Tilda with non domesticated animal,
I love it when a plan comes together lol,

why have I now got The A team music going through my head! lol

Oh no, another Tilda card

There said it before you could Dawn lol,

thanks for all your lovely comments yesterday, you made my day!

well as you know I love Tilda, what no never! what ever makes you think that!

so of course here is another one!

the card is for my Basic Grey DT and the challenge is

favourite things,

well I could hardly not use a Magnolia Tilda now could I!

so distress inks, flowers, lace and white acrylic paint and Tim Holtz Ranger crackle paint are on here too,

just heard from my supplier she has managed to get me some more of this YEAH! as I was so running out lol,

my papers are from the Wisteria pad, my Tilda with Daisy image is coloured with my distress inks again, ooppss did I just tell you that lol, and yes still the pads he he,

I've added my touch of grunge too , well you know how I love it!

She's layered on to nestie ovals and scalloped ovals, I've torn my inner paper again but do you know this may be one of the last as I've right gone off it, do you do that? love something then think YUK he he,

the post card is made with a Lily of the Valley stamp which has been stamped in rich cocoa memento ink,

Flowers have been grunged too and are my last lovely lilac ones, so want some more but don't know where I got them from boo hoo, the film strip is by Tim Holtz, feather and lace from stash, and there is a bit of cheesecloth lurking about too!

I will have to check later for challenges as up to now I've not found any,

hi guys,

it's pouring down outside at the moment I wouldn't mind but it's given it all day too lol,

still lots of crafting to be done he he,

I've been busy doing DT stuff but thought I'd show you a card I've done for fun,

I've followed Domi's gorgeous sketch over at Simon Says Stamp and I loved it, "it is all there you just have to look closely to see the strip in the middle as I managed to hide most of it" lol,

my image is again coloured with my distress inks, still learning these need lots more practise, I use the pads but fancy having a go with the re-inkers watch this space lol!

this gorgeous Tilda is called Tilda sending love letter,

well being me it had to have a little grunge didn't it so the edge is done with white acrylic paint and is machine sewn too, the little dots are done with liquid pearl,

Deep ocean challenge wants sparkling and or glitter so the edges of my hand made tag sleeve have the glitter treatment as does Tilda and the flowers too,

the gorgeous paper is again by Magnolia as is the swirly heart die, the beautiful handmade pin is again by my lovely friend, you know who you are hunny and I love them!

hi guys, I have already posted my TT creation earlier if you want to see it see below, if not I've made a card for fun again using my Distress inks and of course Tilda! lol

I've used the usual grunge effect which as you know I love lol,

the bottom die cut is called spring border and is by Memory box, I love these dies and have one or two already with my eye on a few more lol,

I've distressed my card stock edges again and then sewn my paper edges,

the flowers are WOC and stash and are edged with white acylic paint, the key die is by quick cutz,

again I just had to use my new Magnolia Doo Hickey bloomy tag, the charm is from The works!

Yep Totally Tilda is back with a new challenge,

Tilda with non domesticated animal

now as you know I have the gorgeous Koala Tilda and so of course have used that, if you pop onto the challenge blog you will see we have all used this stamp as this time we are being sponsored by the lovely Bron from Shop Bron here with this gorgeous Magnolia stamp this time , so get your thinking caps on and join in the fun! lol

Now some of you may have noticed I'm way into my Distress inks at the moment, I have started looking after my Granddaughter in the day while her mum works, so I find colouring with these at night relaxing! so if you've noticed me missing a little that's why, just till I get used to the routine, after all my youngest child which is Tegans mum is 26 so it's a long time since I've looked solely after a baby lol,

Paper play DT in stitches

Hi guys,

over at Paper play we have a fab challenge for you, stitching

now as usual it can be real faux, hand or machine,

as you know I used to sew for a living so for me it's usually my sewing machine that's used though I have been known to hand stitch as I used to love, embroidery, tapestry etc, mind you that was way before I discovered making my own cards, and that they say was that lol

Tilda with daisy is coloured with my distress inks, yes I'm really into my DI'S at the moment, my poor copics aren't getting a look in lol,

January Blues~ Addicted to stamp Challenge

Hi guys,

well were back again at Addicted to stamps with another gorgeous challenge for you

Winter blues

use the colour blue,

I'm back with a magnolia Tilda, my New year resolution didn't last long did it lol,

she is called
Tilda with peony tails

and is from the sweet crazy love collection

I've made my card in the envelope style and is the first time I've done one, quite like it so will defo do more lol,

my papers are all Magnolia and have been machine sewn,

Tilda is coloured with my copics and I've used a Martha Stewart border punch for the edges,

my new Magnolia Doo Hickey bloomy tag die has been used again too, loving this,

the edges have been distressed with white acrylic paint and the card stock distressed with my distress tool,

The flower is coloured with four shades of blue though with the glamour dust on over the top you can't see that too well lol,

the flowers are WOC and these have been given the white acylic paint treatment too,

Butterfly punch is by Marianne, roses ribbon from stash,

The inside has this fab verse I got off the net, couldn't resist it but will have to send it to some one I know lol, who will know I'm not being conceited but it's just my weird sense of humour!

again as you can see my papers are machine sewn and finished off with the paint,

When I'm feeling blue

all you have to do

is craft lol,

well that's my remedy any way he he,

I felt like a change and I've coloured my image with distress inks again,

the image is called Tilda with Daisy and is from the latest collection,
I've used nestabilities for the oval shape and this has had picket fence crackle paint added on the edge,
I've followed the sketch over at Tomic and my paper edges have been grunged with white acrylic paint,
I've added glitter to the hem of her dress, daisy flower head, dots on the scalloped oval, flowers at the side and outer card stock edges too,

the heart is a marianne die, which I love,
the hand made label has a Magnolia stamp on it and this is also edged with glitter,
papers are by Magnolia and Tim Holtz shabby chic,
My card stock edges have also been distressed with my distress tool,

The boys have been home quite a bit and you know what's like, mum do you know where this is? or can you just wash this lol, or Liz what you up too! well not crafting that's for sure lol,

no that's unfair not crafting all the time lol,

this was going on my blog this morning only Kay arrived early with Tegan and that was the end of that too lol,

my card today is for my sons Birthday which is on Sunday, yep he's 30, gosh that makes me feel old!
as you may know he's really into fishing so what else could I do he he,

what do you think? or should I not ask!!
I cut the 30 out of the card stock then drew round it for the paper,
Edwin fishing is masked onto the log then coloured with distress inks, what no copics,! lol
then I cut these out and stuck to the card using pin flair glue,
I made his line out of twine and used a rub on which I cut out to keep the deep colour and stuck it onto the twine,

I've used a Magnolia Doo Hickey cloud die for the sentiments, the fish label is a peel off too,
the dragon fly die is a quickcutz one I've had ages,

not much you can do for a fella so I hope it's enough!

I want to put this on for Simon Says Stamp ~ anything goes so I hope I'm not to late! lol

And here I am I am lol,

had a lovely Christmas with the family, loads of fun and laughter,

Tegan got loads of stuff, she's one popular little girl!

I made a card for Simon's girlfriend using the colours over at MDU,

I had done all my Christmas ones but loved the colours so did a Birthday one instead,

the colours are red, cream and gold,

Shock horror not a hint of cheesecloth or grunge in sight lol,

I felt like a change and they do say it's as good as a rest don't they! and who am I to argue lol,

the bottom edge is made with a Tim Holtz alterations Border die ( ornate),

my papers are machine sewn and slightly distressed with my distress tool, the postcard stamp is by Lily of the valley,

I've used the gorgeous Valerian flourish border on the right and is by Memory box,

Tilda is coloured with copics and cut out with nestabilities,

the cream ribbon, yes it is there is from Sarah at The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop

My gorgeous tiny labels are from Tracy at dies to die for and are whimsy love mini tickets and I got the matching die cut that cuts them too,

I ran out of my favourite colouring card for copics, so the blending didn't work as good as it normally does, thankfully I got some for Christmas he he,

Flowers are WOC,

the gorgeous red flourish was sent by Tracy in my order and I love it and it went perfect with this card, I must find out what it's made with!

Because the card is shaped at the bottom I have used some more of the paper and decorated the inside too

New home, new baby, year, etc

my daughter has a friend who's just bought their first house together with her fella, so I thought I'd make a card for that,

as you can see I've used this gorgeous Tilda again, I love her as she was in the Christmas collection but can be used for other things as well,

I used a square card shape and have added a stepper style folded section at the front,

all my images are coloured with copics, no change there then lol,

the Sold sign is a Marianne die that I have added a small hero arts text stamp too, the flowers are WOC and other,
Magnolia fence die lightly painted with white acrylic paint,

my outer paper is distressed with my distress tool and sewn the inner one is torn and edged with vintage photo distress ink,

A wish for you!

For a nice warm day lol,

I've made a card for my sis using this gorgeous Tilda, again from the Christmas collection, love her she is so cute, one of my all time favourites I think,

her Birthday is in January so I thought well we could have snow It has been known, and it will certainly be cold lol,

She's coloured with copics and has the usual white acrylic grunge effect on too,

layered onto an oval nestie then onto a scalloped one,

do you like my new border die? I treated myself! well it is nearly Christmas and I love it, it's a memory box one called Valerian flourish, it cuts perfect first time and is so delicate,

other dies used are Marianne heart die and a Magnolia Doo Hickey fence one,

the Wish label is by Tim Holtz and has been given the grunge treatment too,

Flowers are WOC and the roses have been edged with white acrylic, loving this look,

My paper edges are machine sewn and are by Magnolia and Tim Holtz, one has been distressed with my distress tool and the other torn,

thought I'd show you a different view, lol

the gorgeous bow was in a candy I won from the lovely Kate, thanks hun,

the label is from stash and I've added a heart charm for a little interest too,

Aw so cute!!!!!

lots of cheesecloth have been used too, another of my faves he he,

Is the theme of our challenge this time at Totally Tilda,

this is running for 4 weeks to the 15th January,
we are being sponsored by the lovely Zoe with a Magnolia ink magazine and a tag die!
oh wish I could join in!

I also wish to thank you girls for all your lovely

get well wishes, I am still in a little pain but it is getting better,

I have a infection of the soft tissue of my gum so I'm on antibiotics,

still my teeth are ok so that's good he he,

as you can see I've used this gorgeous Tilda from the Christmas collection, she's great as she can be used for so many other things too,

coloured with copics again and layered onto a oval nestie and lacy oval nesties, the edge has been distressed with vintage photo,

my papers are by Magnolia and I've machine sewn the edges, the usual cheesecloth is on their too,

I've also used some Marianne butterflies dies, these I have layered twice to give a little depth,

The gorgeous flowers are from WOC I think and I have edged these with glamour dust, I made some twirly sticks out of the stems,

Tag, fence and card border edge are all Magnolia Doo Hickey dies, so love my Doo Hickeys! lol,

Hi guys, I'm back twice in one day lol,

I think I've got an abscess under a tooth so I'm off to the dentist tonight YUK! still I don't want pain any longer especially over Christmas lol,

my card is using one of the latest Tilda's Christmas collections sitting Tilda with Teddy
isn't she cute,

again it's been coloured with copics, and the usual white acrylic paint and picket fence crackle paint has been used, reminder to myself I need more of this fast!
papers are a mixture of Magnolia and Tim Holtz shabby chic,

I've followed Domi's fab sketch over at Simon Says Stamp and also made my card for Magnolia down under which is to use items lost and found, well my hubby found an old stamp collection he used to keep, ( the date does say 1966) the other night and I've used one of his stamps, hope it wasn't valuable he he,
and you could say it's been lost a while lol,

I've also used cheesecloth which is used for baking and the pink string which was from on a gift,
the charm is from stash and the gorgeous flower ribbon is UIT - hobby and crafting fun,
the lovely grass border is a Magnolia Doo Hickey die,

My last Christmas project

well till next year any way lol,

our challenge at Paper play is

Christmas theme

so a nice easy one for you,

this runs till next year when were back with our next challenge on

the 4th January,

I've had a change and done a half circle scalloped edge card, which is a GO KREATE die,

I have then used a plain circle ones for the inner card stock and paper, these have been distressed with white acylic paint,

Tilda is coloured with my copics and has lots of Glamour Dust for the fur trim, the Magnolia Christmas tree stamp has the same on too,

My gorgeous WOC flowers which I won the other day are edged with the white acrylic paint too,

on the top edge I have used my Tim Holtz snow flurries die again, this has been edged with vintage photo distress ink,

sentiment stamp is Lily of the valley, though the lines are a separate stamp and I've masked them together, sorry don't know whose make this is,

my snowflakes are a quickcutz die and I have coated them with lots of glamour dust,

distressed card stock, acylic paint and cheese cloth finish off the card,

A stress free Christmas! do you need it now!! stress free that is lol,

I do I've made my cards, need to make loads of boxes, they may get their cards in January! lol

Our challenge at Basic Grey this time is

and it runs till the 7th January

I've made another tag card, as I'm so loving these at the moment and they are so easy to do to,

My papers are Basic Grey Jovial and my Magnolia image Lightening Edwin ( Merry Christmas 2010) collection is coloured with copics,

again I have used my scroll from a craft CD and then layered a sentiment I got free from the net on top,

the usual distressed card edges and white acrylic paint has been used,

The border is a Tim Holtz snow flurries die, love this! will miss it when I have to do none Xmas cards lol,

The other items are a Magnolia fir tree stamp which has liquid applique on and a Tim Holtz weathered clock die,

It's in the bag!

Well it will be when I've bought it lol,

I've made this bag for Kay's Christmas present to go in, she adores purple colours

and loves Christmas so hope she likes it, lol

As you can see I've made it in a shaker style, I have scored my acetate again to make mock diamonds on the acetate for a little added interest, don't think they are showing to clearly on my piccies though lol,

the snow is pin flair Ice Diamond and I've put lots in so you can see it he he, it makes a gorgeous sound when it's moving too,

the Image is of course by Magnolia and is Tilda with snow heart, love this one too, she's coloured with copics,

my papers are again by Magnolia and my card stock edges have been distressed with my distress tool and then painted with white acrylic paint,

Tim Holtz snow flurries border is down one side of the bag and has been distressed with vintage photo distress ink, has as my inner paper,

I've distressed a quick cutz key die with more white paint and used a charm for decoration too,

My spellbinders nestie scalloped edge die cut shape has been done the same way, her snow dots and heart are made using liquid applique, the roses are edged with the white acrlic paint too,

if you look closely you can just make out the diamond pattern on the acetate which I did with my scor-pal,

the back of the bag has a large sentiment stamp I've had for years, stamped onto a larger scalloped edge nestie which has again been distressed with the white paint,

the same type of roses and a Tim Holtz Alterations Pine Tree die cut have been distressed the same way too,

the little stars add a hint of shine on the tree,

the card stock and papers are again done the same way and I've attached the Tim Holtz snow flake flurries die on the opposite side too,

Wow I'm so excited! I still can't believe it!!

The lovely Bron wrote to me recently and asked if I would like to make a card for her Christmas Advent Calendar

Believe me there is some awesome cards on display, every day and is well worth looking,

I still can't believe she asked me!

Now as you know I love this Koala stamp,

Tilda with Koala is masked with the Magnolia fir trees stamp, and being as our Christmas is a bit different from in Australia I have left off the snow and snow flakes lol, then I have cut out her foot and bottom tree branch so that they weren't cut off when I used the Nestie, as you can see these both sit outside the oval,

I've coloured my images with copics, my main card stock is distressed and grunged with white acylic paint, the outer paper is machine sewn as is the the main oval shape,

my inner paper is torn and distressed with vintage photo distress ink,

to keep in with the Australian theme I got some postage stamps off the net, printed them out and added them to the card,

Wish List sorted, HO HO HO!

Hi guys I'm back again with a just for fun project lol,

again it's a fairly long post so get a brew and sit comfortably lol,

any one would think Christmas was coming wouldn't they lol,

I have used Magnolia stamps for this project again and all are coloured with copics, the out of the snow text has been layered onto a large spellbinders snowflake die,

the die and card stock edges have been distressed with white acrylic paint and the magnolia tree has liquid applique added on the edges too,

The sides both have mock windows, done with a spellbinders die and acetate, the trees are again done the same way as the front and the fence has white acrylic paint on it too,

The roof is made using a Magnolia Doo Hickey die which I have cut a few strips of then I've layered them to finish it off,the gorgeous lace looks like hanging snow icicles, well to me anyway lol,

Santa Edwin is again coloured with copics and cut out then fixed to the chimney,

Did you guess it was another exploding box? see previous post, this time it's on a larger scale to fit in more elements lol,

again I didn't want my sides falling so I have added string to keep them semi upright,

again I've got my 3D tree, tutorial on my sidebar, chimney with real battery candle behind, unwrapped Tilda, Tilda's cat and parcels, all in there ha ha,

can you spot mini Tilda with hearts in the picture frame on the wall behind,

Ha ha you can see it better on this picture lol,

the hook holding the picture up is a Tim Holtz idea-ology hitch fastener,

This is a better view of the flame and the bunting on the side walls, done with a Doo Hickey flag die and small hero arts letters,

I wanted this to be for at night too, so here a picture of it in the semi dark

and here when it's dark and she is sitting all cosy warming her bum! lol

I also cut out a square on the lid so that the light shone through when made back into a box lol,

The pretty little ribbon shop GDT project,and Tutorial

I've been dying to tell, the lovely Sarah from The Pretty little Ribbon Shop wrote to me recently and asked if I would love to be a guest designer for the

pretty little ribbon shop challenge
which this time is
Christmas with a Bow

of course I jumped at the chance, so thank you very much hun,

this is another long post so grab a brew and take a seat lol

the gorgeous ribbon on the top of my box is of course from Sarah's shop and is 38mm Parrot green wrinkle silk, it's totally gorgeous too,

the front of my box has a stamped image of Tilda done in copics, she has been cut out and fixed onto the box with pin flair glue, the lamp post is by Tim Holtz and I have edged the edges with vintage photo distress ink and made some lines on the bottom half with my score-pal it's got lots of glamour dust on it too,

This side has Tilda with snow heart on again coloured with copics and it has liquid applique for the heart,

this side has Sweet Christmas Tilda and I have masked her onto the soccer bench, again coloured with copics, cut out then fixed on with pin flair glue,

You had probably already guessed but yes it's a exploding box and this is what is inside lol,
I have made my 3D tree again, tutorial on my sidebar if your interested, and the little parcels are made with bubble wrap covered with designer paper to match the box and tied with some of Sarah's gorgeous cherry red Bakers twine, loved this too,

Unwrapped Tilda is again coloured with copics, cut out and fixed using a L shaped tab made of acetate,
the tree has red pearls added and a pearl string has been draped around it for more decoration,

I didn't want my sides to fall completely so I have used some string to allow them to only fall so far,

exploding box Tutorial (my style lol)

Box
Cut four strips 21cm x 10cm
score in 10cm from one end on the 21cm length

Lid cut out a 16.5cm square out of the main card stock score in 3cm on all four sides, optional at this stage you can distress all the edges including your scored edges with distress inks,

Take two of the strips and glue together the 10cm square, matching up as good as you can, do the same with the other two strips, leave to dry,

Here they are joined and are lined up for the next stage,

Join these two strips together to form a box shape, again matching up the edges as good as you can, leave to dry,

The lid
Take your scored card stock and trim as shown

I have shown two already cut and two marked where to cut on the other sides to match,

at this stage you can decorate the box lid (right side) with your contrast card stock and or papers,

but not on the tabs

Fold scored edges in and stick the tabs to the inside of the lid as shown,

well I hope you have enjoyed my project and tutorail, any questions just ask,

you can of course make your exploding box out of one piece of card but I wanted a larger box to be able to put the larger items inside, you can of course change the sizes of your box to your own needs,

Can you believe I've put my tree up last night, Me who doesn't put it up till a lot later usually!
quick take my temperature!!! lol

our challenge today at Totally Tilda is

WHITE ON WHITE

NOW BE CAREFUL HERE BECAUSE ONLY HAIR AND SKIN COLOURING IS

ALLOWED!

you can use embossing, dry and wet, glitter/ white of course he he and anything else as long as its white,

do check out my lovely teamies fabulous work for inspiration they are gorgeous!

Halo Tilda has embossing powder for her dress and glitter for her wings and wand, her hair and skin are coloured with copics,
then I cut using a circle nestie then used a slightly larger on for an added layer then distressed the edges and painted white crackle paint on the edges, I then used a small ribbon around the edge for a little more detail too,
my papers are dry embossed but I have hidden most of it lol, these papers are torn and edged with glitter, the main card stock I have used the same embossing powder at the edges as on her dress,

the Martha Stewart punch twigs have been coated with lots of glamour dust as have the snowflakes too, to finish off the Doo Hickey label has white ribbon and a pearl string too, which of course you can see so why am I telling you lol,
of course the camera is making the embossing powder look cream typical!
I also used my small Marianne flower die to make the flower out of plain white paper, then edged it with crackle paint too, you can just see this ha ha,

you may remember I did a gift card and bag for Tegans Christening a couple of posts down, well our challenge for Paper Play is to

Create your own Holiday Tags and wrapping!

oh err! I have just re read it and guess what I have not done a holiday theme!!

will I get the sack!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so the moto here is do as the challenge and not as I've done lol,

so back to my mistake ha ha,

the wrapping paper is a piece of pink plain paper which I have stamped the same bible and candles stamp onto, which is on her card, look closely you can just make them out lol,

The mini Fairytale Tilda matches the one on the card too to bring all the items in together, only this is defo not Christmas!! lol

again I have used the gorgeous ribbon from The pretty little ribbon shop which I just love,

Tilda has again been coloured with copics and has glamour dust for her wings,

the small tag matches the one on the bag and is also coloured with copics, the tag has a light coating of white acylic paint to finish it off and too soften the colour too,

It does crack me up this stamp, I love it but it does make me laugh !!!!

for my card today which is another just for fun, I have used a dig image and the combined it with a stamped image, this is the first time I have done this, don't say yeah we can tell lol!

To get the images in, the rest of the card wouldn't take too many embellishments, well for me anyway he he,

the images are coloured with my copics and I have made mock foot fall prints with my copic pens, to hopefully look like he's walked that way, snow usually looks shadowy when walked on so I've used a hint of BV31 for the shadows along with C1, C3, and Co just to blend them a little,
again no glitter as it's for a fella lol!

Our gorgeous granddaughter Tegan is getting christened soon so I've made her a card and bag for her present to go in,

I'm trying to hide them as Kay nearly always sees what I'm up too lol,

I've used one of my tag cards again for the card base design,

the mini Tilda ~ Starlight Tilda is of course a Magnolia stamp as is the tiny label and both have been coloured with my copics, her wings are done with Glamour dust, her wand is done with Stickles / star dust!!

the gorgeous flowers are from WOC and I have painted the pink ones with picket fence crackle paint and the white ones with tattered rose crackle paint,

the edges of my card, Marianne heart die and scalloped nestie have all been given the white acrylic paint treatment ,

the card

Sleeping baby Tilda is again coloured with my copics, stickles for her wings, glamour dust for her lace trim then she has been cut out and layered on with pin flair glue,
the border is a Doo Hickey die and this has been edged with vintage photo distress ink, another mini ~ Tilda Fairy Tale is again coloured with copics and her wings are done with glamour dust,

again I have used a scroll from a craft CD I have and added the text on top resizing it to fit, then I cut it out and again layered it onto some card stock this has been given the same white acrylic paint treatment too, I stamped the little bible and candle stamp with a moonlight white brilliance ink pad

As you can see I've used my hand designed tag template again, so loving these lol,

I have used a lovely Fizzy Moon stamp which I won as candy from the lovely Kate, thank you hun, and I have coloured it onto water colour paper and used Distress inks, "what no copics" !!! lol

I've made this as you can see for Tegan our lovely granddaughter who will be much too young to know what it is, but her mum spied it the other day and loved it and said she will keep it in a keep sake box for her, I thought aw how lovely,

Fizzy's fur trim is made with Liquid Applique and he has been cut out and adhered to the card using pin flair glue to give him a little height,

the Marianne die in the centre has been distressed with white acrylic paint and snowflake stamps from Magnolia have been stamped on top, in the centre of some of these I have added a little bling,

the small jingle bells I have had for years in my stash lol,
letters are a small Hero arts stamps set,

BG project and Tree tutorial

over at Basic Grey our challenge this week is too use

things from around the house

of course still use a BG product too,

this is again a long post so you may want a brew first lol,

I have used Basic Grey Wisteria papers,

A Birdhouse and a MDF piece of shelving

all my images have been coloured with copics, cut out and fixed using an L shape made out of acetate,

This picture hasn't got the sun on it and hasn't got the added ribbon on the base too lol,

The roof is made using a Magnolia Doo Hickey doily lace die which I have cut several times then staggered the layers so the design didn't all line up in the same place,

the window frames are cut using a Nestie die, then I have cut out a square inside for the window this has acetate behind and some lace for curtains lol, both sides are done the same,

the front door is made again using a different nestie then cutting an oblong out the middle, I then cut a same size oblong out of contrast paper for the door, I have attached a Tim Holtz Ideology fastener too for the door handle, I cut out the oblong from the frame as I wanted the door to look inset into the frame and if I had just stuck paper on top that wouldn't have happened lol,

the snow icicles on the roof are are made using a Martha Stewart punch,

Tree tutorial

my tree is made up using a Tim Holtz alterations pine tree die which I have cut out of card stock 4 times, two with the card the front facing up and two on the other side, if your card stock is the same on both sides you don't need to do this

here is my 4 cut out trees and now I want to score them in the middle, I use my scor- pal,

Line up your trees at the top of one of the lines on your scor board and score carefully down the tree, try to get your score lines on all your pieces roughly in the same place, make sure the face side of your card stock is facing you, as picture,

Now fold the trees along the scored line to look like these above, take your time,

Stick two of the trees together on one scored side with a wet glue so you can position the edges together as near as possible before it dries, leave to dry properly do the same with the other two pieces as shown,

Whe dry adhere the two tree halves together to form a 3D tree, again leave to dry,

on this one I have used another time to follow later, I have shortened the base a little too,

You can now dress this up as much or as little as you want, I lightly coated my tree with white acrylic paint, let it dry then sprayed my tree with perfect pearls mist and added lots of glamour dust,

the garland on the tree is made using some beads from stash, threaded onto some white stretchy stuff used for jewellery making, sorry have lost what it's called lol,

I have used tiny amounts of Diamond glaze to set the beads in place,

You follow the same steps for the Tim Holtz Alterations Holiday Lamppost as the trees,

decorate as desired,

I edged my lamppost edges with vintage photo distress ink and the same perfect pearls and Glamour Dust ,

to finish I covered my MDF shelf piece with the same perfect pearls mist and added loads of Pin Flair ice Diamond glitter,

Totally Tilda DT card and masking Tutorial

This is quite a long post so grab a brew and put you feet up lol.

over at Totally Tilda our challenge as you may have guessed is masking,

now I used to dread the thought of masking, but now I love it and do it quite often,

I will show you my card first then the tutorial,

As you can see I have masked my images two times, a first for me as I usually only do it once lol,

still it was great fun! and do hope you will try it too,

The images are coloured with copics, then I have used a petite ovals large Nestie for the shape, I have machine stitched around this and also around my main paper edge,

the inner paper has again been roughly torn and then distress ink has been added to the edge,

my snow is liquid applique,

Masking Tutorial

here goes lol,

Basically you need your chosen stamps, some thing to do your masks with, I use post it notes as they are perfect but any thing that will stick and then can be easily removed is ok too,

I also use a woodware stamp positioner but there are others out there too, and of course your chosen ink pad, I use memento because I'm colouring with copics,

Here you can see I have stamped onto my post it note then carefully cut these out, you will notice I did not need to do the trees, ignore all the lines on Tilda this is perfectly normal when you re- use it as a mask and I have put it on to show you, your newly made one will of course only have the image you have stamped,

You always start with your main image first then work backwards, seems a little strange at first but hey it works really well lol, so here Tilda has been stamped leaving enough room around her on my card stock for the other images,

Put your ready made mask on top off your stamped image, line it up carefully, remember yours will be just the stamped image, not all messy like mine he he,

Take your stamp positioner and make sure the angled piece buts firmly at the top edge and side of your large acylic piece, take your stamped image and line up your block with your stamp into the corner so that it's in the right place for later

next place this stamped image that is on your stamp positioner where you want it to be, you can move this around till you find the best place, here it shows Tildas hands will be resting on the bench and her bottom will be sat on it too, very carefully take away the large acylic positioner you have stamped your image on holding on to the angled one making sure this doesn't move, I find relaxing at this stage helps as I tend to get worked up and it sometimes moves lol,

if this does happen however just do it again, placing the positioner with your image back into place, lining it all up, then carefully remove it,

remember to re ink your stamp too!
here I have already done the above and have then placed the mask of the bench on top of the mask of Tilda, my stamped images are underneath these masks and so are protected from any further stamping, my masks again look messy ignore that, there would just be Tilda and the bench on yours lol,

Do the same thing again with your tree stamp and your stamp positioner, lining it up at the corner and taking your stamped image on your block into the corner,

Here my positioner is again placed over my masked images to get the correct placement then carefully removed again, leaving my angled piece in the correct place,

Here is the finished project with all the masking taken off and your ready to colour,

Here I am going to show you know what it will look like if you don't line it up properly

Can you see the mistakes!
Tilda's hands look like they are in the middle of the bench as does her bum! lol

the trees are also lower than the bench so Tilda looks like she is sat on a floating bench, this can be remedied as I will just cut Tilda out and use her, but it means a lot of work wasted,
still it hopefully does show you
"not to do as I did but what I say lol,"

And here again is the finished project all coloured up,

I love using these at the moment as yes I know I already said lol,

Tilda is again coloured with copics and after cutting her out I added liquid applique for her fur trim, the tag is again my template and I have used Tim Holtz paper from the shabby chic pad, my edges have again been distressed and edged with my vintage photo distress ink and a hint of white acrylic paint as I wanted the blue to show at the edges more,

the snowflakes and snowflake border have been edged with vintage photo too,

my Doo Hickey tag is again layered onto card stock then I have stamped some snowflakes from the latest Magnolia sweet dreams collection and added a snowflake charm,

the tree is a die cut I got last year and never got round to using, still Christmas comes every year so knew it would be used later!!! lol

I've used cheesecloth for my thread as I thought it gave a soft look but it was hard to tie as it tended to stretch and then sheer a little lol,

Oh yes it is , not quite snowmen weather but well on it's way lol,

I've made another tag card using the template I made, loving these so have made one or two, which you will see later he he,

right! I've stopped waffling on to this one, I have of course used Bundled little snowboy and he is coloured with copics, distressed around the edges with my distress tool then given a coat of white crackle paint,

the snow is again liquid applique as his his buttons and I added a pom pom for his bobble hat,

the tag on the tag is a Magnolia Doo Hickey and I have stamped snow flakes from the latest collection on for added detail as well as a snowflake charm,

As I've got Kay and Tegan coming soon so I'll get going lol,

I've seen some gorgeous cards based on a tag lately and fancied having a go, so I made a template and based my design on Magnolia down under who want a sentiment as a focal point,

I used a scroll design I have on a craft CD then got the text off a free web site for verses (and saw this one which I couldn't resist because I know some one who will love it lol) and layered it on top to size, printed it off and added a little card behind to keep the colour scheme in,

I have kept the colours similar to the scroll and have coloured my images with my copics,

My card stock edge is distressed with my distress tool, then coated with white acrylic paint, as is the fence, the snow is liqiud applique, the button and flowers have been grunged with White crackle paint,

Addicted to stamps challenge DT card and Mid week Totally Tilda

Gosh I don't think I've ever used one of my Magnolia stamps so much before, I just can't stop using her, she is just darn cute!!

the challenge for Addicted to stamps challenge is for

Pearls and Lace,

and Totally Tilda's is

Christmas but no red green or blue,

so I have combined the two,

Tilda is coloured with my copics, could say the usual but you know I sometimes use DI's

the edges are painted with white crackle paint for texture and because I'm loving this grunge look,

Papers are by Magnolia from the latest sweet dreams collection as is the sentiment too,

my flower is WOC which I have edged with the crackle paint and the snowflake is a die ( which I think is discontinued as I can't find it anywhere) onto which I have added vintage photo too, then used a smaller Marianne die on top,

A little birdie told me

That Christmas is getting so close and I'm sure I'll not get my cards done, every year I say I must start sooner but never do, hubby keeps saying, "any spare ones I'll have" SPARE ONES! he must be joking lol,

Our challenge over at Basic Grey is to mix and match,

now that could be BG papers pads, BG embellishments or the two combined you get the drift lol,

What no Tilda!! guess your surprised lol,

the image is of course a wee stamps one which I downloaded from her site, they are gorgeous and you get them straight away,

the papers are Basic Grey Sweet threads and Wisteria papers,

she is coloured with copics, her fur ear muffs and snow is liquid applique, yes I'm used it again just love the stuff, the pearl dots on the scalloped edged nestie are done with my pearl pen,

the tag and cloud are Doo Hickey dies which have been given the white acrylic treatment,

her fur trim is done with Glamour dust,

flowers WOC and other, raffia and snowflakes stash,

check out the rest of my teamies gorgeous creations, all so scrummy,

will have to look for challenges to fit as just realised I've not found any yet, that's what you get when you've had a cold and a head like mush lol,

Flippin heck two posts in one day,

I did a little housework and a lot of crafting lol,

still the dust will be back tomorrow and my Christmas stash needed adding too so that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

Thought I'd do something a bit different this time, I'm just loving the colours I've been using but when I saw the colour scheme for Just Magnolia I thought hey I'll give it a go, not too sure now I've done it lol,

I have again made lines on my acetate just for detail and added a little white flower soft inside the shaker section, I used a magic anti static bag on the acetate only it didn't work to well so I had to take some of the flower soft out, oh well you can't win them all lol,

I think this one is called Something for you Tilda and she has been coloured with my copics again, oh look you can just peek her flower soft snow he he,

I have also used it on my trees and Doo Hickey fence die too,

it was looking quite dark so I used a white snowflake and Doo Hickey tag die to make a banner again using white card stock to lighten it up,

the ribbon was on a gift so I kept it, knew it would come in handy some day lol,

I'm feeling a lot better so I decided to make a card, of course I love doing the challenges for

Magnolia down under so I tried to get in in before the challenge ends, lol

I love these new Tilda's, yes I know I've told you before lol,

anyway Tilda with snow heart is coloured with copics, and the snow is again liquid appliqué, me thinks me's going to run out of this again this year !

I've used a Sissix die Christmas tree and coated it with acrylic paint, edged with vintage photo DI, then lots of glamour dust for sparkle, shines more in RL then it's showing on here, typical!

I cut some hearts with a punch and added liquid appliqué for her snowballs pile,

the tag is one I've had for ages and I've added two charms for the key to my heart lol,

can anyone tell me a good product for the attaching of charms etc, my string is too thick, and other things are too thin! typical lol,

flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and Prima,

pearls, ribbon Doily, cheesecloth from stash.

I'm back!!!! have you missed me? what do you mean NO!

my cold was horrid, all hot, cold, runny nose and made my head mush too, which isn't much different to how I usually am come to think of it lol,

I was looking through my stamps and found this cute little Edwin and thought I'd give him an airing before he goes back into hibernation for another year lol, hes coloured with copics sorry I can't remember what he's called so if anybody knows please let me know, thanks, as I'm trying to get organised and label my Magnolia's not an easy task I can tell you,!! especially with a head like mush lol,

I decided to just use the bottom of the background stamp as I fancied making my own sky, to tie in the colour scheme,

I stamped my snowflakes using a moonlight white brilliance ink pad and added dots with Liquid appliqué for the centres,

I stamped out the tree from the background again and layered it up then added the same liquid applique for more texture,

I added white crackle paint on the flowers and the Doo Hickey fence stamp too,

See I told you I love her, this has to be my favourite Magnolia stamp yet!! lol

over at Totally Tilda the challenge this time is for

Christmas but no red, green or blue,

I thought when I saw this challenge help! but actually I've loved using different colours this year as you will have seen on previous posts lol,

She is called Sweet Christmas Tilda and is coloured with copics, I'm so loving these at the moment and I have put her in a large ovals Nestability die which is then layered onto a labels 18 Nestability die this has been distressed with white acrylic paint as has my outer cardstock,

my usual ripping, tearing and vintage photo edging has been done also to my paper layer behind the image,

As you can see I've used a large clear button on my snowflake, but of course being me it had to be grunged lol, so it's had a coating of crackle paint on it,

Tilda is again coloured with copics and this time for a change I have used a lovely lace trim behind the main image before the scalloped Nestability for added detail,

my trees and Doo Hickey fence are again edged with vintage photo distress ink and then liquid applique for the snow,

The large pearls are the other buttons I have used, yes some more from my mums button box,

my papers are from Magnolia and some are torn then edged with vintage photo DI too,

My snowflake is made up of a large quickcutz snowflake die which I have edged with the vintage photo DI then I have layered another smaller Marianne die snowflake on top which I have cut out of cardstock then distressed with the crackle paint, then of course my grunged button is on top with a little raffia ribbon tied through,

with his apples ! still laugh at this, still he will be healthy, maybe I should try it instead of xmas pud

NAH!! lol

here's the card I said I would show you the other day with the acetate lines on done with my scor-pal,

I have kept this fairly plain as I think it could go to a fella and they don't like fussy mussy do they! lol

Hopefully you can see the lines! was of course hard to photograph he he,

Edwin is coloured with copics and then I have used the fancy shaped nestie that I still haven't found out what it's called, job for me today me thinks!! lol
amended to add labels 18 ! one job less for today lol,

I attached the acetate after using a little talcum powder on to stop the snow sticking when shaken,

you can just about see the snow if you look hard enough!lol

My paper edges are distressed with white acrylic paint and the card stock is distressed with my distress tool too,

the snowflake, leaves and Doo Hickey swirls have been edged with vintage photo distress ink,

looks really plain to me now but like I said I made it for my nephew! who does so happen to be male he he,

Ah isn't she another gorgeous Tilda, love these latest stamps wish I had every one lol,

I have coloured Tilda with copics and used liquid appliqué for the snow again, as you know loving this at the moment,

I have used a large nestie oval and scallop for the image and I have distressed the edges with vintage photo distress ink then distressed on the top with crackle paint,

my trees are coloured too with copics, cut out and layered with the liquid applique, the Doo Hickey fence die, keys and snowflake are all distressed with the vintage photo DI and the fence has the liquid applique too,

my paper edges and flowers have been distressed with crackle paint,

Magnolia Down Under want Shhh it's a secret for their challenge so I have hidden a tag behind my image and used the large snowflake to hide the top,

I have used a Doo Hickey tag die, then layered it on the same coloured card stock as the card, and edged the edges with crackle paint too,

the sentiment is from a fizzy moon set,

You know how we've been moving furniture, well guess who didn't check their computer and which didn't want to start this morning, hubby's tinkered about but whether it will work properly next time is another thing!

so if I'm missing you will know why lol,

as you know I love this look so it wasn't too hard for me lol,

Tilda is again coloured with copics, which on here look a little lighter then in RL lol, and the usual white acrylic paint has been used to distress the edges, I have again used two Spellbinders dies for the main image and these have been distressed too,

the gorgeous doily was a gift and I love it, but sadly am running out fast boo hoo,

the paper edges are again torn and edged with walnut stain distress ink,

I've glittered the flowers and added white crackle paint to the keys, which is a quickutz die I found while having to move stuff, and which I totally forgot I had

my card stock is from Samuel Taylor's, love to have a ride to their shop when it's a lovely day as I go to the one near Skipton so it's a bit of a journey, but well worth it when you get there and of course they are on the web too,

Can you believe another Christmas card from me! I mean you know I don't do Christmas till the middle of November lol,

our challenge today over at Basic Grey is

Anything goes

a lovely one for you, just remember to use a Basic Grey product and tell us which you have used,

I've used Basic grey papers from the Curio and Jovial pads,

my image is coloured with copics and her heart snow ball and snow flakes/drops are made using liquid applique again,

I have made a shaker card using the ovals and this other spellbinders die which I must find out which one it is and also on the outside painted the edges with white crackle paint so loving this grunge look, yes I know I've told you before lol,

for a change I have torn my paper a little narrower to allow for the snowflake die to be used,

I have also used the doo Hickey dies of tag, and fence and used a quick cutz key die plus a Marianne heart die all these have been given the crackle treatment too,

The acetate front has some added lines on it which I did with my scor pal but you can't pick these up clearly on here, I will upload another later this week which I have done the same thing too and you will be able to see it on that one hopefully lol,

I've made it so the tag can be removed for the verse to be read and then can be replaced is needed,

I left this fairly simple just edged the tag with vintage photo distress ink to match the paper edges and main frame,

the flowers I added a little white crackle paint too on the edges, quite like it too,

Still been moving the furniture, then of course you have to refill the darn things, so I'm very tired as it's been hard work, no honest!!!!!!! lol

No not here, only on my card lol, well you knew that right ! still with the chilly wind wouldn't be surprised,

I've made another Christmas card, using the latest papers from Magnolia,

gosh they are gorgeous so love them,

Yes I've used her again, I love her she is just too cute, again I have masked her on the bench which was in the last range and is the football bench I think, anyway it works perfect for this,

I've coloured her using my copics, see told you they'd be back lol and have followed the colours on the paper which has hints of the brown in the flower centres, not that you can see those much oh err lol,

Ripped and torn paper edges again, distressed with distress ink, white crackle paint, liquid appliqué for the snow, managed to find some more of this as my last lot ran out, still as I said I had had it years, come to look at it it looks more lighter too,

must have aged like me!

the trees are coloured, cut out and then layered with the liquid appliqué , and fixed with pin flair glue again,

the doo hickey fence die has been edged with Distress ink then the snow effect added too,

This is another stamp from the latest Magnolia set, only this time she is coloured with distress inks, I know shock horror, what no copics, don't worry back to them next time lol,

I've used my tearing effects again, think is is so me from now on, papers are a mixture of Tim Holtz and Magnolia,

I've also used Nestabilities large oval, scallop and Doo Hickey fence die, these I have edged with vintage photo distress ink as well as my torn paper edges,

wow how sparkly,

her wings and star are made by using cosmic shimmer mica powder on then I have added a layer of star dust stickles over the top,

my camera is picking a little on her hair and yet when viewed normally it's not to be seen lol,

camera's and photography don't you just love them!!!!!!!!!

oh yes it certainly is, the leaves are everywhere lol,

for our challenge today at

Totally Tilda

it's Autumn Leaves

I've masked another favourite Tilda of mine onto a Magnolia log stamp, love this too as it's a perfect size and also masked these with the toadstool stamps,

Tilda is coloured with copics again then I have edged my image with white crackle paint for a little texture too,

as usual my paper edges are torn then inked with distress ink, the main layer is painted with white acrylic paint to again give a distressed grunge look which I'm loving,

I used small toadstool stamp which I cut out and layered with pin flair for my toadstools on the left, again these where coloured with copics,

the Leaves are a Tim Holtz sissix leaf die which has loads of different leaves and twigs on and is fab, these I also highlighted with the white acrylic paint,

Edwin, for a change!!

I thought it was about time I did an Edwin card, again he is from the latest Magnolia set and he is so cute too, I'm a little puzzled by apples in his basket but hey what ever floats his boat!!! lol,

This card is for our latest challenge over at

Paper play

and it's to use black in your card project,

check out the gorgeous creations the girls have made,

as you can see I've been tearing my paper edges again, think I like this, so you may be seeing a few more in the near future lol,

papers are a mixture of Magnolia and Tim Holtz,

I have distressed the edges of my torn paper and the snowflakes with Vintage photo distress ink,

the snowflakes centres are again Prima flower centres that I got from Simon Says Stamp,

My snowflakes are liquid pearl, but I haven't flattened these, still think they look more like snow when flattened though lol,

image is again coloured with copics,

the sentiment is another latest stamp from Magnolia,

I haven't had time to check for challenges yet, so will do so later, had a busy week this week!

Can you believe it's so close, frightening lol,

I am in the mood for doing Christmas cards as these new Magnolia stamps are so yummy, this one is my favourite, I can't stop using her,

I've found out I like tearing my paper edges, so much fun to do then I ink them with my distress inks, also saves having to use lots of cardstock so the cards not so bulky,

my papers are a mix of Magnolia and Tim Holtz and my image is coloured with copics,

I've used some liquid applique for the snow, can't belive it still works as I've had it years!! and I do mean years lol,

The trees are from a large Magnolia stamp which has three trees on, I just stamped off two of the single small tree, coloured them cut them out and layered them on with pin flair glue,

A closer look of Tilda, isn't she so cute!!

my snow flakes! are done with my ice white Viva pearl pen I have deliberately squashed them to look more like snow falling, well hopefully they do anyway lol,

the large snowflake is a quickcutz die, again I've had for years, the centres are for flower centres really but they went with my colour scheme and thought they went ok as the centre for my snowflake!

my cardstock edges have been distressed with my distress tool too,

Halloween project that is lol,

it's time for our

Addicted to stamps challenge

and yes you've guessed it it's

Halloween

now I'm fast running out of ideas, so here it is lol

I've used the Sissix rickety house die again only this time it's a stand alone with out the basic card structure behind, the tree is a Magnolia stamp which I stamped in black on black card and cut it out, you can see the design of the tree from the stamp up close too,

I've again used on of Lynne's fab digi stamps do check out her site here,

the spiders, bats, and cat were again cuttle bug die cuts a gift from the lovely Christine, thanks hun,

Tilda and the owl are again coloured with copics and cut out, the bats are again on strips of acetate and I've used the white acrylic paint for detail,

Here's my semi dark picture, I had a brain wave and thought I'd take it in the morning as I needed to upload it, and got my camera and moved stuff for the picture, only I hadn't got the SD card chip in, so by the time I got that and put it in the camera, saw to the dog who needed to go out and got back the light was a few minutes lighter, hence the part dark picture, you didn't really need to know that bit did you lol,

hi peeps, the challenge we have for you this time over at

Basic Grey is

chosen by our Lou and it's for

Halloween/ Autumn / Fall

A nice easy one for you as I know you don't all do Halloween, as you know I have already done some Halloween projects but just couldn't resist doing another lol, I know gluten for punishment he he,

I made my coffin out of black card stock and added Basic Grey Opaline half pearls to it, I made the coffin plot out of the same cardstock and sweet Threads paper, the fence is painted with my white acrylic paint,, I'm so loving using this at the moment ,

Edwin is coloured with my copics, cut out and adhered using pinflair glue, as you can see I used cheesecloth for my webs again and those pound land spiders,

The bats were a lovely gift from Christine, thanks so much hun, and I stuck them onto some acetate to make it appear they are flying, has it worked lol,

Tilda is also coloured with my copics and I have tweaked her legs so that she could sit on the coffin lid, again after I had cut her out this time I stuck her on with a piece of acetate behind, the flowers I have kept to the same colour scheme to match in with the ribbon, note to self must get me some more ribbons lol, love the way it softens, anything really,

The coffin will also close but thought it looked better like this on the picture,

Can you believe it's so near to Christmas, thought I'd better get cracking and do a card, lol

I've used another of my new Christmas stamps, love this set they are all brill,

As you can see I've used my copics to colour her and I've used white acrylic paint on the edges after distressing with my distress tool,

papers are by Magnolia,

TOMIC want a sitting Tilda or Edwin and to use at least one magnolia Doo Hickey. I have used four lol,

Wild Orchid Crafts want Christmas fun and Just Magnolia want anything goes with the option of coffee and cream,

My flower and doily are all edged with distress ink, and the doily has a little acylic paint on too,

I layered the flower up with a large and small flower then added a layer of tulle in between, only you can't see that very well lol,

Spooky Trail

Hi, got another halloween project for you lol,

our fab challenge this week at Totally Tilda is

Halloween

now I know you love doing these as seen across blog land so were really looking forward to seeing some of your gorgeous creations,

my house is a Sissiz die that I then put plain vellum behind for the windows,

my background is done by using distress inks which I blended using cut n dry foam,

Tilda's are coloured using copics,

we are being sponsored by our lovely Lynne who has kindly let us girls use her fab digi dies here, check out her stuff they are brill, thanks Lynne,

I cut out two Spellbinders tag dies laid one on top of the other to create a border and then added Lynne's ticket on top at an angle, a few punched leaves and your done lol,

to create a more spooky atmosphere I used white acrylic paint here and there lol,

my pound land spiders are on here too,

Here it is lit up, hopefully you can see the effect, the tea light flickers and adds to the spook but of course I can't show that lol,

I made this to go with my luminaire that I put on my blog the other day but I'll put on her just to show the two together, more pictures of this down my blog,

Hi peeps, wow got my new Magnolia's, so cute!!

of course I couldn't wait to make a card with them and I needed to get going with some Christmas cards lol,

A spooky Luminance

Hi guys,

after I've written this I am trying to get round to visiting you, had one of those weekends where I never seemed to get any time,

I have been making a Halloween luminarie , don't know if I've spelt that right, probably not lol,

anyway here it is,

We don't really do Halloween in Britain but I love the images and the colours so just had to do one lol,

I will show all the pictures first unlit,

As you can see I've used a little cheesecloth for the webs,

Also I have used some Tim Holtz sprocket gears and a tiny vial too, well Tilda must have her herbs!! lol

I made the luminaire then attached it to a 5x5 piece of card on which I had used a Martha Stewart swirling lace punch around the page,

The spiders were from pound land and cost a pound lol, but I got twelve of them and an orange net which was supposed to be an orange web, rubbish! but the spiders are ace,

all my images are coloured using my copics,

Hi guys, well it's rained in the night so I guess our heat wave is over, sure was nice while it lasted, flippin heck just started raining again now too !

our challenge for you over at

Addicted to stamps

is a lovely sketch

check out my teamies gorgeous work, all are fab and all so different using the same sketch,

as you can see I have tweaked mine a little lol, the moon is made by cutting a circle out of the main card using a spellbinders nestie then layering a larger one over the edge to create a moon shape, well that's the theory anyway lol,
Tilda is coloured using copics and is layered on the die using pin flair glue,
the fantastic sentiment is from the lovely Lynne's shop here,

the paper is last years from Boo Bunny which I never got round to using so thought for a light hearted card I'd use it on here, so love the spiders he he, not in RL though scare me to death lol,

Hi guys, gosh it's been gorgeous here again today, went to the demo early, was a bit of a let down!

Hi guys,

those who follow me have probably seen a hint of this yesterday, my silly computer posted it when I was attempting to put it on scheduled Grrr!

anyway this card is for the Basic Grey challenge and is by our lovely Julie

Nursery Rhymes/ Fairy Tales,

check out my lovely teamies who have done awesome work,

I couldn't get my mojo into gear for this challenge, partly the gorgeous weather and also because I had another challenge wizzzing through my head and it wouldn't go away he he,

so this is what I finished up with!

Not at all me, not much embellies or anything so I'm not going into too much detail lol,

the papers are of course Basic Grey from the sugared and Wisteria pad, the image is of course Magnolia and she is coloured with copics, the cat was a free stamp from a magazine,

I'm going to a demo at a local craft shop today so will be back later with my candy winner,

A Christmas gift

Hi guys, whats the weather like where you are? nice hey!

here it's raining again!!! roll on summer lol,

the challenge we have for you over at

Totally Tilda

is to decorate a chipboard beer mat or make an album,

now me being me didn't take the easy route and did an album!!!

My images are all coloured with copics, I have used lots of glitter on this one too. the frame is a made using one of the spellbinders dies and I have used white acrylic paint to distress the edges,

This one is using a cuttlebug snowflake die which I have coated with lots of glitter too, then I have cut out a mini Tilda with latern and layered her on with pinflair glue, after shaping her using my shaping tool,

the dots are pearl liquid pearl,

Hope you can make out the Magnolia circle stamp which I stamped in versamark then added glittery embossing powder over the top,

I stamped mini Tilda in the middle, I have kept this one flat on purpose so the album didn't get too bulky and squashed!!!!

I rounded the corners using a corner punch,

This again is fairly flat again for the same reason, I made a pocket for the tag onto which your own words can be added, the background is white acrylic paint painted on,

Here I've masked Tilda onto the candy cane then coloured using my copics, her fur trim is glamour dust glitter and her wings where done using a glitter pen,

the snow dots were again made using liquid pearl

This is another back view, to really finish of the last page, !!!!

this time I stamped the parcels then cut out the stamped image of santa as I wanted some depth to his legs so I again shaped them with my shaping tool, they do sit off the image a little but I don't think you can make it out so well on the picture, typical!!!

Hi guys, over at Paper play we have a great challenge for you

Autumn leaves,

my teamies have done some fab creations do go over and give them some love,

we are being sponsored by Meljen designs with 4 digi images, thank you!

As you can see I've used a Magnolia image,( what me never!) lol she is coloured with copics too,

I used various leaf stamps for the design around her using distress inks and used a small oak leaf ? punch for the others,

Tegan was weighed yesterday and she is a whopping 8 pounds 6 ounces, isn't she doing well lol,

you may have noticed I have given up my colour create DT, I haven't as much time at the moment for crafting when Tegan's around , but do go and check out the challenge site as they are looking for new some new DT members so check it out,

phew what's up with blogger today, thought I'd just lost all this as it went off the screen as I was writing it but thankfully it was in draft!!! good job too lol,

Tilda in the Fall

Hi peeps,

had a few minutes today to craft so have made a card using Magnolia stamps, for a change lol,

over at TOMIC the challenge is

a sketch and the fall,

I have coloured some ivory seam binding with three distress inks to get the look I wanted,

I masked Tilda with the mushroom and also did two separate ones for the extra ones on the bottom, all are coloured with my copic sketch pens,

All my papers are machine sewn and distressed with my distressing tool, the image is made using a spellbinders die,

I have cut out two spellbinders tag dies, layered them on top of each other then using the same edge stamp as on the main image edged the sentiment too,
