My Lovely Friends,

Tuesday 5 July 2011

Special Birthday wishes

Hi guys,
well I'm finally catching up with myself after our  little hols last week, you know the usual housework, cooking, yes all the joys!!! lol

I have a card to show you today that has used a new sissix die that I've had my eye on a couple of weeks, Jim took me to a craft shop last week and I just couldn't resist buying  it !! lol

As you can see it's a clock die, I have used some Idea-ology spinners that I've had a while for the hands and have sat Tilda on top with foam pads,
the clock is made from Grunge card which I have distressed with picket fence crackle paint, then I've stamped a stempleglede grunge stamp in the middle using vintage photo distress inks,
I've used Magnolia papers and a strip of Basic Grey too, following the fab sketch from MDU, my papers are distressed with a distress tool and are all machine sewn,
My flowers are from WOC and have been sprayed with perfect pearls pearl mist and dosed with lots of glamour dust for lovely sparkle lol, the leaves poking out at the side are Tim Holts idea-ology too,
As you can see I've used loads of Tim Holtz stuff on here as I've also used the film strip too,
the cheesecloth and the  roses ribbon which was a lovely gift (thank you) have been used too,
some silver fancy corners finish off the card,

well guys I'm off to do the ironing YUK!! lol
will catch up with you later,
