My Lovely Friends,

Challenges time!

hi peeps, well can you believe it's Thursday again, doesn't time fly! so of course it's Colour Create and Paperplay's challenge day,

Colour Create is  our lovely Mina's choice today and she has chosen
blue, grey and white, optional extra Vellum
we are being sponsored by
Michelle's scrapbooking,

Now I've made my card using some gorgeous small Hanglar images, they are so cute!!!! love them, lol
have you got that I love cute yet!!
I've used a card blank from craftwork cards, which i have distressed with Distress inks, I have also distressed my main image layer too,the flower is a Molly Blooms flower which I have stamped in grey onto vellum then highlighted with a spica pen, the flower head I stamped again, cut round freehand to get a flower shape then layered this onto two die cut large flower shape die by Sizzix, I highlighted these with the pen too, in RL this shimmers beautifully, all has been joined together with a brad,
The images have been coloured with Copics,

Challenges
Scrap creations ~ anything goes

Our challenge today is chosen by my lovely friend Mandy is
at the beach,
well I've done a easel style cut out creation  again, must stop doing these they take ages lol,
As you can see all images are by Magnolia and are coloured with copics again,
This is the left hand side of the card which includes my new  fishing Tilda, for the line I have used real fishing line which I nabbed off my hubby lol, I then stuck her bait hook  onto it, see main picture, the oyster shell I made by folding some card, stamping the shell, cutting them out, colouring in the middle and adding a pearl then I edged the shell with glitter and the shell effect on the top too,
This side has one  of the latest collections too which is Tilda with Kite, I backed the string with a piece of  thick line which gave it strength to stand up, all the front images are on tabs to keep them upright apart from the shells of course lol,
the pier is made from  corrugated card, stripped from a cardboard box, painted with acrylic paint and I've then  added tilda to sit on top,
the mock fishing net is made by using cheesecloth roughly cropped and stuck to the card with a hot glue gun, the starfish have been stuck the same way too, the sea is a clip art image which I cut round freehand and highlighted with a white pen and some glitter, oh look you can see fishing Tilda's bait hook lol,
The flag poles are made from fishing pole tips which again I robbed off Jim, to be fair he did say I could lol, anyway I cut them to the right size, they were black so I coloured them with acrylic paint, then I wrapped fluffy string down the pole,  the tops are a brad which I glued on with a hot glue gun, then I attached them on to the card with a hot glue gun too,
my papers are machine sewn,
