Simon’s card

At last I can upload this card, I made it earlier but there was a chance my son could see it so it had to wait till today, yes he is 28 years old today, god that makes me feel old , it was snowing  when I had him too and my hubby never let’s me forget how he had to dig his way into the garage so he could come to me,P1010665

I’ve loosely followed the Kaboodle Doodle challenge sketch, but had to turn it and tweak it a bit, hope that’s ok girls, as you can guess he’s fishing mad and I’ve done so many fishing cards in the past it’s getting harder to know what to do lol,

Items Used:

Copics,

Raffia~the Range,

Paper~freebie off the free CD~ Docrafts latest magazine,

Epoxy Tag~ freebie from somewhere years ago!!

Woodware inverted corner punch,

We are still full of icy snow on the paths and side roads here and more snow is forecast so who knows, but at least I’m not in labour lol,

Thanks for looking, Hugs Liz xx

I love your take on our sketch - this card is brilliant. I like the raffia that you've wrapped around it, gives an added dimension and texture to the card. Thanks for joining in with the Kaboodledoodle challenge.

Hey hunny, Happy Birthday to your baby boy. Gorgeous card, such a cutie, men are such a pain to make cards for, no correction men are such a pain lol. I've ordered some men's stamps but god knows when they'll get here as we haven't had any post for days now, I'm going to tell my postie off when I see him, he could wear cricket studs so he doesn't slip over for goodness sake and then I could have my stamps that I'm impatiently waiting for lol

Great card Liz! Love the bear and how you colored him. That little bit of raffia and the fish really set it all off. Super job! Hugs, J.
