My Lovely Friends,

Friday 23 October 2009

Just for fun,

I have had a brayer for more years than I like to think and have always said I’d get round to having a go, and yesterday was that day, so for a first attempt I’m quite pleased with it, actually it was a lot of fun and will definitely do something else,P1010515-1 Items Used,

Speedball Brayer,

Various dye ink’s

Magnolia stamp,

Tree stamp, Do crafts Duo,

With Love stamp~Freebie with magazine

White Inkssentials pen

Stardust Gel Pen

I began by doing the top of the card with a multi ink pad as it was the only one I had it’s left slight marks as they where in individual strips of colour, having said that it makes it a little interesting( well that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it) then I did the bottom colour by turning the paper and rolled across,I then stamped on the tree and highlighted with the pen, used a small star stamp and inked with a silver pad randomly over the top half and added a small moon from a set of polar bear stamps I’ve a while,

I coloured my Magnolia image with copics and then cut them out (very hard near their skates) and glued it down, then coloured in the hearts on the sentiment stamp to match her trims,

I’ve got a horrible tooth ache today from a partially erupted wisdom tooth, so I’m on antibiotics Hope they start to work soon,

Hi Liz, what a wonderful card, I really like this technique but have never tried it myself - it has worked well with all that you have used, might have to go and ask Santa for a Brayer now! lol

PS. Hope your toothache subsides quickly ;(

Hugs Sarahx
